You don't seem to have even tried to contact the original author, at least not trough the wiki, and your account was only created today. @Iscariot: I do believe I said as much. Thank you for reiterating. If you check this account's userspace, the content has been duplicated (and expanded) there. Now, please, do not interfere in that which is not your business; unless you've become a sysop recently, in which case congratulations would be in order?
@ Boxy: The group is not coordinated through the wiki, we have forums hosted elsewhere. The original wikipage author has been out of contact for a month or more, the membership has increased, and more wiki-savvy members have been getting active again and wanted to revamp the page. As said, the content has been backed up to userspace, so technically I believe this could be considered a Crit 1, "duplicated elsewhere to no purpose".
As I'm sure you can tell, this is not a newb group – all are alts of experienced players who would prefer their identities to remain shrouded. Thus, the purpose of this deletion request is to remove edit history; if necessary, we can just recreate the same content after it's deleted but with the history gone. If you must confirm group continuity rather than, say, copying the page contents, deleting the page, and pasting them in again, I give you permission to checkuser this account and email or contact (outside the wiki) the other account of the user who created it, they can give you whatever bonefides you require. The utmost discretion is requested, however.
Yes, I realise I could just take this to Deletions and have all the active members vote on it, but the purpose of this account was to have a shared account, not for us all to require alt wiki accounts, and would not be speedy.
