This page is for the request of page undeletions within the Urban Dead wiki. Due to concerns about loss of data, the ability to undelete pages is restricted to system operators. As such, regular users will need to request an undeletion from a system operator. For consistency and accountability, system operators also adhere to the guidelines listed here.

Please note that Images cannot be restored, they are permanently gone when deleted. If you wish to prevent any currently unused images from being deleted you may wish to Image Ark them.

Guidelines for Undeletion Requests

All Undeletion Requests must contain the following information in order to be considered:

• A link to the deletion request in question. Preferably bolded for visibility.
• A reason for undeletion. This should be short and to the point.
• A signed datestamp. This can be easily done by adding ~~~~ to the end of your request.

Any undeletion request that does not contain these three pieces of information will not be considered, and will be removed by a system operator.

Undeletions may only be granted if the user provides a convincing reason as to why the page should be resurrected, or if the page was deleted as a result of a system operators abuse.

Once the undeletion request has been entered, the request shall remain on this page, where it will be reviewed by a member of the Sysop team, and action taken accordingly. Once action has been taken, the request will be moved into Recent Actions, along with a comment from the system operator who determined the action take. After a week has passed with the target page in Recent Actions, it can be moved to the Archive.

Two images which I originally uploaded for Mis' writing contest, but were forgotten when I was sidetracked by that dreaded four letter word (WORK!), and were rightly wiped as a scheduled deletion. You could always ask if the deleter saved it as an emergency archive, I used to save (and still have) the images I deleted those months ago --

Whether he wants it or not, since when do we delete users? He's been here for so long, and his name links on allot pages. Also his talkpage is a soon to be crit 5 trap waiting to be tripped. Just because he decides to leave doesn't mean we should delete his existence on this wiki. I'm also not at all happy with Misantrophy handling Izzy request off-site, all sysops actions and motivations should be recorded on the wiki. WHY THE FUCK ARE YOU PEOPLE LISTENING TO THAD, AND YET AGAIN USING THE MOST BULLSHIT EXCUSES TO FUCK WITH PEOPLE? I'm looking at you Cheese, Thad. You guys have a long history of not liking iz (well, thad just likes stirring shit, for the most part), so you two shouldn't have had anything to do with this.

He is gone from the wiki. If Grim had opted for his page to be deleted, or hell, anyone else, upon leaving, it'd be respected. It's time to grow up guys.

SHADOW COMPANY

Hmmm. (more backseat modding? :S) but if it's a simple redirect you want, you shouldn't really have to go through here. As long as shadow company is a confirmed faction of EXTINCTION then nothing should be wrong with this imo... --

Sometimes I wish DDR was still a sysop. But then I see little nuggets of wisdom and joy that bring a smile to my face because I know that I can't say them and I know that he wouldn't have said them if he was still a sysop.
