This page is for the request of page undeletions within the Urban Dead wiki. Due to concerns about loss of data, the ability to undelete pages is restricted to system operators. As such, regular users will need to request an undeletion from a system operator. For consistency and accountability, system operators also adhere to the guidelines listed here.

Please note that Images cannot be restored, they are permanently gone when deleted. If you wish to prevent any currently unused images from being deleted you may wish to Image Ark them.

Guidelines for Undeletion Requests

All Undeletion Requests must contain the following information in order to be considered:

• A link to the deletion request in question. Preferably bolded for visibility.
• A reason for undeletion. This should be short and to the point.
• A signed datestamp. This can be easily done by adding ~~~~ to the end of your request.

Any undeletion request that does not contain these three pieces of information will not be considered, and will be removed by a system operator.

Undeletions may only be granted if the user provides a convincing reason as to why the page should be resurrected, or if the page was deleted as a result of a system operators abuse.

Once the undeletion request has been entered, the request shall remain on this page, where it will be reviewed by a member of the Sysop team, and action taken accordingly. Once action has been taken, the request will be moved into Recent Actions, along with a comment from the system operator who determined the action take. After a week has passed with the target page in Recent Actions, it can be moved to the Archive.

Old A/A Fiasco

Was looking at Help:The_NOT_so_secret_diary_of_a_sysop#The_Buttons_of_POWER and wondering why the A/A link didn't give a sysop option to look at the deleted links.

The deleted links, I assume some can remember, were deleted because of my january case that cyberbob created when I used his powerword in an argument. Boxy deleted the entirety of A/A, and as I overzealously pointed out in the original case, I manually re-undeleted the unrelated 1200+ edits back because he hadn't done it properly.

As the logs told me, when SA went on his huge fail coup he deleted A/A and Mis undeleted it, unknowingly (and not at all his fault) undeleting the difs that contain cyberbob's powerword and lol personal pictures. As it stands, I just got back from a big event and am about to collapse, and it seems the difs have literally doubled to 2400+ since I last did the revisions, so I've undeleted the latest revision and am asking for the ops to just undelete some difs if they have some time on their hands. They won't have to do all obviously, and when I get up tomorrow I will happily do the rest. Just a heads up for why I deleted A/A and why I shouldn't be thrown to misconduct for mini coup. -- ϑ^anceϑ^anceℜ^evolution 15:07, 28 January 2011 (UTC)

Undeleted all but 25 revisions around the date. Couldn't tell which to leave and which to undelete, so somebody with more knowledge of the case (DDR?) should probably do those.--Yonnua Koponen ^{Talk ! Contribs} 15:51, 28 January 2011 (UTC)

501st U.S. Army Battalion

After a brief search, I think this page may have been deleted in error. The wording of MBjarno's last post and looking at the request itself, it seems he only meant for the subpages to be deleted rather than including the main group page which I think he was using as a header. CORAM/VGAs

I had requested a speedy delete on this page listing a number of zerg accounts because we thought we had the situation under control. We do not. I'm requesting undelition because I don't want to have to dig for all the profiles again. Page will likely see more use until CORAM gets its zerg propblems under control.. ~ 16:41, 11 January 2011 (UTC)

My drunken poem from last night that was crit 2 speedied. I'd like to save a copy of it in my userspace. Feel free to follow up the undeletion with a move request to User:Giles Sednik/Robot and then delete it again if you like.
