Undeletions are awesome. Happy to, uh, help? Big Grin :D Hmm, maybe I should have requested merging the history of the two talk pages... (I miss wikis where autoconfirmed users can do this shit themselves. Whatever became of that policy, anyways?) ᚱᛁᚹᛖᚾ 08:26, 28 September 2010 (BST)
Sorry, I didn't see this request, did you get hold of history and such? As for autoconfirmed, well, it was approved but we need the new version of mediawiki and Kevan won't deliver even after this petition -- LEMON #1 08:45, 28 September 2010 (BST)

EvIL

Just recieved an email from Poodle.

Poodle of doom said:
About the undeletion request... if dumuzi wants it, he should get it. Truth be known, I didn't create the main page. I wasn't the only person in my group editing it. I wasn't acting on behalf of my group when I put it up for A/SD. If he wants it, at the very least, give him the codes for each page, so he can start a fresh group page.

Sysop opinions? As he's the one who demanded the request, this is more compelling to undelete, but I know some of you are reluctant. Thoughts?--User:Yonnua Koponen/signature2 00:17, 16 August 2010 (BST)

Any info needed I'll pull up with the view deleted pages thing, just. When I fall, I'll weep for happiness 00:20, 16 August 2010 (BST)
If anyone wants to know who the user who actually did make the page is, it was TripleU.--User:Yonnua Koponen/signature2 00:24, 16 August 2010 (BST)

Go post them on the EVIL forums or something...

Which is great, but I don't actually know how to get the code of a deleted page without undeleting it, and since it's half past midnight here, I don't really have time to undelete them all, copy the code and delete them again. I honourably pass the task on to the next system operator who reads this. That means YOU!--User:Yonnua Koponen/signature2 00:31, 16 August 2010 (BST)

Me? He gets a few specific pages if he asks for them. Also for the record, you can view the source of a deleted page by clicking the timestamp of the revision in question when you go to the undeletion page. When I fall, I'll weep for happiness 00:34, 16 August 2010 (BST)
Already know, read below. I'm emailing him as we speak.--User:Yonnua Koponen/signature2 00:35, 16 August 2010 (BST)

He wants this:

Poodle of doom said:
Actually,... you know what.... email the codes for the main page, and every one of our history archive sub pages. That will be good enough.

Poodle may not realise that the codes only work on wikis... He'll find out soon enough, anyway. --

I assume he'll be using it to send to whoever now runs the EVIL page.--User:Yonnua Koponen/signature2 01:10, 16 August 2010 (BST)
Oh yay and then he'll make it himself and this whole shitfuck will happen again. Fucking hell he's retarded, my compassion over this has died over the night and I'm just ready to take that disambig and shove it up his arse and make it a redirect to my group instead. Fucking nothings easy with him, is it. He can't even delete whole group and permaban properly. -- 01:14, 16 August 2010 (BST)
Yeah, well, hopefully he'll stay gone for a while this time. We might get lucky, Iscariot went along with his permanent disappearance vow.--User:Yonnua Koponen/signature2 01:18, 16 August 2010 (BST)

--User:Yonnua Koponen/signature2 08:56, 16 August 2010 (BST)

I think that's enough from Poodle for now. If he wants to talk, he knows how to contact us and how to ask to be unbanned. Otherwise, he's given up the right to speak here for the moment. Aichon 09:34, 16 August 2010 (BST)
Yeah, better stop relaying the messages from a self-harming permabanned user before I blow another fucking gasket. -- 09:52, 16 August 2010 (BST)

Member of the group requests undeletion that another member has asked deleted. I'm going to check the history of these. Hold on a sec. --RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 21:45, 15 August 2010 (BST)
Edit conflictedYeah, that's not really too much of a compelling reason. He created the pages, and so he was able to delete them under Crit 7. A real reason would be good, considering there are hundreds of pages involved.--User:Yonnua Koponen/signature2 21:46, 15 August 2010 (BST)
Aichon said:
As an additional aside, I oppose undeletion of these as well should it ever come up that someone wants them all undeleted. If someone is looking for specific information, fine, but if someone wants to set up the group on the wiki again, those pages are gone as far as I'm concerned, especially considering they were in not one, but two incorrect namespaces.
Quote from Aichon, who deleted most of them.--User:Yonnua Koponen/signature2 21:48, 15 August 2010 (BST)
I also went on record before the deletions were made stating my opposition to their restoration. I stand by it. When I fall, I'll weep for happiness 21:49, 15 August 2010 (BST)
And I still stand by what I said last night as well. I'm more than willing to help them out with specific information, since I'm not unsympathetic to what Poodle did to them by having the pages deleted, but they were still his pages. Restoring them en masse is not something I'm keen on seeing happen, but if there are a handful of pages with vital information they'd like to use in making new pages, I'm fine with those being undeleted temporarily (I say temporarily, since the "Extremely..." and "Extremly..." pages shouldn't be located there, and now that they been deleted, we shouldn't be undeleting pages in the incorrect namespace) so that they can grab the relevant information. Aichon 23:32, 15 August 2010 (BST)
I'd prefer to just gank the information from the deleted pages than restore and re-delete them. When I fall, I'll weep for happiness 23:45, 15 August 2010 (BST)

Removed from queue. Nobody looks keen to undelete them, so your request is denied.--User:Yonnua Koponen/signature2 23:49, 15 August 2010 (BST)

What valid reason do you have for denying a group from having their page back? One of them throwing a RAGEQUIT, hissy fit shouldn't mean that they have to change their group name. The pages arn't "his", they're the group's. If it's just the naming convention problem, then that's fixable -- boxy talkteh rulz 12:38 16 August 2010 (BST)
Main contributing editor was Poodle, no sysops wanted to undelete them. Since it wasn't going to be deleted, I removed it from the queue. If you want to do it, do it.--User:Yonnua Koponen/signature2 12:41, 16 August 2010 (BST)
I never said I wouldn't do it. I asked for opinion on page group ownership rights. Slight difference. --RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 12:47, 16 August 2010 (BST)
And I never said you did. But the fact of the matter is, the sysop who deleted it was adamant he wouldn't undelete and three more were against it. You hadn't come to a decision, but ultimately, there was a majority against undeletion, if you assume DDR was in fact against, likehe'd said earlier.--User:Yonnua Koponen/signature2 12:52, 16 August 2010 (BST)
Unless this user pipes up again, it might not be such an issue. He may have only wanted it back as a kneejerk to the deletion but it seems they are running their group via separate methods now, not using wiki, we should wait and see what the group consensus appears to be first. -- 12:54, 16 August 2010 (BST)
Especially since the leader of the group is quoted above as saying that they are now running without a wikipage.--User:Yonnua Koponen/signature2 13:04, 16 August 2010 (BST)

Well, I've undeleted the main Extremely Vengeful and Irksome Laymen page, and it's talk page. If any other specific sub pages are needed, we can take it on a case by case basis. But really, there are a ridiculous amount of sub pages with minimal information on them. It might be a good idea for the group to rethink their page organisation, if they even want that info stored on wiki at all -- boxy talkteh rulz 13:00 16 August 2010 (BST)

My god, I'm pleased you didn't handle his ban either. -- 13:06, 16 August 2010 (BST)
What? The one where he was permbanned by his own request, and then you have to carry on a conversation with him on this page by copy pasting his replies received via email. Yeah, that's awesome! -- boxy talkteh rulz 13:10 16 August 2010 (BST)
That wasn't me it was yonnua, though I would have liked for you to have gone "hmmm permaban request. Just cause it isn't your account doesn't mean you have the rights to it! I'll give you a ban but not the length you want!" oh wait, you did that last time, did it this time on the undeletions request for a group he owns (see Malton Inhumane Society Vita ex Mors and any other group on Special:Wantedpages). Why did I even laugh at him when he said he was predisposed against sysops? You're a stellar example of what we're about. -- 13:17, 16 August 2010 (BST)
Oh yes... last time I didn't permban him, just gave him a year to "get over it", and he was back within the month. Seems I overestimated the time he was going to leave for, eh. As to those other deleted group pages, well none of their members requested undeletion, making it an invalid comparison. Group pages arn't owned exclusively by those who edit them. Someone who is clearly an EVIL group member, who also has some ownership rights, even if he hasn't edited the page before, has asked for it's undeletion -- boxy talkteh rulz 13:54 16 August 2010 (BST)
Even still, I still think you're overlooking the problem that waiting was the best option, so much shit has happened in the last 24 hours, doing shit 3 times to one page based on what's the most recent response from party a, or b, or c, or whoever the fuck one of the sysops decides to listen to at the time, is going to turn this into more of a clusterfuck than we need. Would I be surprised if poodle or an associate came back confirming the above, that they want to have their group operate completely off the wiki and have page re-deleted? Not really, that's my point. Instead of acting off the bat from the hourly mixed message, let's wait for some solid confirmation. -- 14:05, 16 August 2010 (BST)
Why not just do it like I said, give them any pertinent code from the page without restoring it? So much easier and so much less hassle. When I fall, I'll weep for happiness 16:25, 16 August 2010 (BST)
Request above this. They have the code they wanted already.--User:Yonnua Koponen/signature2 09:32, 17 August 2010 (BST)

Talk:Holland Vs Spain

I'd like to see if there were any other comments made after my departure to sleep. After that it can be re-deleted. This request would not have been necessary, if you guys would have contacted the author next time instead of immediately speeding it, cuz I was planning to put it up for deletion just as well, after taking a look on it.

Speedy deleting a page within hours of creation time without even contacting the author is not good form. Sure the page was crit 2, but nothing of serious harm. If you really were in such a rush then just move to my user-space next time. --Umbrella-White.pngThadeous OakleyUmbrella-White.png 11:11, 12 July 2010 (BST)

Don't blame the sysops for deleting your off topic idiocy. You've been around long enough to know to put that in your user-space somewhere, yourself. I'll move it, but don't make a habit of making stupid pages, and then expecting sysops to clean up after you -- boxy talkteh rulz 11:39 12 July 2010 (BST)

UDWiki:Administration/Policy Discussion/Petition to Unban JR streets

Yes, this was a stupid policy proposal that was defeated. But I don't believe in deleting wiki history, especially for the fact that that this was a Policy. It's similar to that of Rasher's Policy Proposal to unban Amazing and ban Rasher instead. And since that Policy Proposal wasn't deleted, I can't help but think that this Policy shouldn't be deleted either.--ShadowScope'the true enemy' 22:03, 14 June 2010 (BST)

Two images which I originally uploaded for Mis' writing contest, but were forgotten when I was sidetracked by that dreaded four letter word (WORK!), and were rightly wiped as a scheduled deletion. I'd like to have these restored for use in Factory 12,10 and Cridge Alley Railway Station - I can haz undeleet? Chief Seagull squawk 09:25, 11 June 2010 (BST)

We can't undelete images, but you can always reupload them. -- User:The Rooster RoosterDragon User talk:The Rooster 09:45, 11 June 2010 (BST)
You could always ask if the deleter saved it as an emergency archive, I used to save (and still have) the images I deleted those months ago -- 10:18, 11 June 2010 (BST)
I'll re-upload them then (assuming I can find them). Cheers guys. Chief Seagull squawk 10:39, 11 June 2010 (BST)

User:Iscariot

Whether he wants it or not, since when do we delete users? He's been here for so long, and his name links on allot pages. Also his talkpage is a soon to be crit 5 trap waiting to be tripped. Just because he decides to leave doesn't mean we should delete his existence on this wiki. I'm also not at all happy with Misantrophy handling Izzy request off-site, all sysops actions and motivations should be recorded on the wiki. (in other words, Iscariot should have requested his deletion on A/D, not through some private site) --Umbrella-White.pngThadeous OakleyUmbrella-White.png 16:42, 6 May 2010 (BST)

Agreed and Undeleted. If he wants it deleted he can come and indicate on the wiki or evidence can be provided (screenshot or irc log) that he wishes as such. -- Cheese 17:09, 6 May 2010 (BST)
So much for "vote overruled in favour of author request". It's his fucking page and he can do what he wants. I see your faith in trusting the sysop team has made you a credit to the force Cheese. -- 01:18, 7 May 2010 (BST)
Grim just contacted me via telepathy... he wants his page deleted. Can I do it, plz? Huh, huh?
Seriously, there's nothing stopping Iscariot from making an on-wiki request, so that we know he does want it gone -- boxy talkteh rulz 09:49 7 May 2010 (BST)
Do it, I won't be the one putting you up for A/M so your argument doesn't really stick with me :/ -- 09:53, 7 May 2010 (BST)

Page ownership, personal contact confirms he doesn't want it.

WHY THE FUCK ARE YOU PEOPLE LISTENING TO THAD, AND YET AGAIN USING THE MOST BULLSHIT EXCUSES TO FUCK WITH PEOPLE? I'm looking at you Cheese, Thad. You guys have a long history of not liking iz (well, thad just likes stirring shit, for the most part), so you two shouldn't have had anything to do with this.

He is gone from the wiki. If Grim had opted for his page to be deleted, or hell, anyone else, upon leaving, it'd be respected. It's time to grow up guys.

Also, pretty sure Grim WOULD be happy if you deleted his page. People can't steal his work so easily then.--Big Cat 17:43, 7 June 2010 (BST)

SHADOW COMPANY

Should be recreated as the redirect to Extinction/SHADOW COMPANY. SHADOW COMPANY is fairly well up the stats page -- boxy talkteh rulz 10:31 5 May 2010 (BST)

Hmmm. (more backseat modding? :S) but if it's a simple redirect you want, you shouldn't really have to go through here. As long as shadow company is a confirmed faction of EXTINCTION then nothing should be wrong with this imo... -- 18:16, 5 May 2010 (BST)
I tend to agree that it could have just been redirected without a request here, but, regardless, I've undeleted it, just to handle it officially. Aichon 19:54, 5 May 2010 (BST)
Oh. Seeing deleted pages is such a missed perk, I assure you :( I didn't realise it was a redirect in the first place, so Boxy had the right idea anyway. -- 03:57, 6 May 2010 (BST)

Sometimes I wish DDR was still a sysop. But then I see little nuggets of wisdom and joy that bring a smile to my face because I know that I can't say them and I know that he wouldn't have said them if he was still a sysop. Now I'm conflicted. I think the only solution is more DDR. Can we get a cloning vat ready sometime soon? Aichon 10:15, 7 May 2010 (BST)

Team Survivor

I would like to request that the above deletions be reversed, due to the fact that the page in question is being cited as evidence in a zerging case at Resensitized. I rather suspect that that was the reason behind the request. Apologies if I've fucked up the formatting; I'm not a big wiki user. --Papa Moloch 21:53, 21 March 2010 (UTC)

All three are undeleted. You may need to look through the page histories for them to find what you need. I'd recommend saving the information on another page as well. When I fall, I'll weep for happiness 22:03, 21 March 2010 (UTC)

UDWiki:Administration/Deletions#Red_rev_net.2Fawards

This stupid cunt has done it yet again. This is precisely the kind of deletion that should be refused on fucking principle. Not only was no deletion notice ever posted on the page in question in accordance with the deletion guidelines but this is a page from a group that spanned two fucking cities and have a massive fucking category organising their sub-pages. Group sub pages have never needed sufficient content when they are part of record keeping, project or simply fucking notes they want to keep. Need I remind you all that diskspace = cheep?

Or shall we have a system where group sub pages will be deleted by this fucking moron if I can get three speedys? Shall we have people force out groups that barely use the wiki with force of numbers? This is precisely the fucking reason this idiot should have never been promoted, and why he should go and request demotion if he has any sense of accounting for his actions. Whoa whoa whoa. I'm keeping this deleted. If a guy wants to keep an empty page alive on the reasoning "he can add more content to it later" then he can recreate it when he has that content. Keeping absolutely empty pages for that reason is pointless. -- 22:24, 16 January 2010 (UTC)

I have absolutely no idea what you are talking about, but since you're still firey about an actual crit 1 actually being deleted, I'll give you a quick lesson. See this group? You put it to deletion as a crit 1. It isn't a crit 1, and was kept as such by absolute majority of voters. Crit 1's by definition have to have no content, between either one or two sentences to nothing at all. Band of Brothers was a crit 1 because it had literally no content on it. So it was speedily deleted and only allowed to be put back up once content was put on it. We, by definition of the guidelines, are in the right, and your abrasive and offensive opinion is, quite frankly, wrong. I believe this conversation is practically over, I can't think there could be anything more of value you would have to say here. -- 22:49, 16 January 2010 (UTC)
