Since I saw this on the Vandal Banning and it just didn't make sense why a one-over the rule infraction led to a month's banning, I think this should be talked about. It does not appear that the punishment fits the crime. Suggestions should not be abused by any means, but what's the point of punishing someone who just happened to have a creative mind that day, and say mistakenly posted two suggestions?

Here's the rule:

Each author should not make more than one suggestion per day. This limit does not include suggestions which the author has removed for the purpose of revision. Suggestions may be revised once per day at most. Suggestions must be removed prior to revisions being posted. Frequent removal of suggestions to avoid having them spaminated is considered abuse of the system. Removal of suggestions in order to post non-revision suggestions the same day is also considered abuse of the system.

Here's what I propose Each author should not make more than one suggestion per day. This limit does not include suggestions which the author has removed for the purpose of revision. Suggestions are strongly encouraged to be revised only once per day, but if needed to promote continued discussion, an additional revision may be made (determined by a moderator). Continuous multiple revisions of suggests in a day - to - day timetable will be considered an abuse of this system. Suggestions must be removed prior to revisions being posted. Frequent removal of suggestions to avoid having them spaminated is considered abuse of the system. Revisions of suggestions that differ substantially from the original suggestion is considered an abuse of the system. Removal of suggestions in order to post non-revision suggestions the same day is also considered abuse of the system.
