Praise

This is a great policy suggestion, I think it'll help limit the amount of dumb suggestions and help people think through their suggestion thouroughly before they submit it. --CaptainM 23:06, 21 August 2006 (BST)

Exactly the reasons I wrote it up.--Gage 23:34, 21 August 2006 (BST)
Mr.A is going to cry if this gets implemented. I'm willing to vote for it.--Thari T/C/TJ! 00:21, 22 August 2006 (BST)
He shall shed tears which will, like the tears of a phoenix, heal those wounds which his stupid suggestions gave to my weak and frail form.--Gage 01:54, 22 August 2006 (BST)

Id vote yes IF it had something about previous suggestions killed/spammed/RMB. --Gold Blade Hunt! 00:24, 22 August 2006 (BST)

what do you mean?--Gage 01:46, 22 August 2006 (BST)
If they had one that was author removed, killed, or spammed, then this would come into efect. Keeps people like poor Mr. A from spamming the suggestions page, but doesn't harm innocents who simply have a lot of suggestions. --Gold Blade Hunt! 01:58, 22 August 2006 (BST)
I am having trouble understanding what you mean... you want people that have had a spammed suggestion to be able to create more? This policy allows people to revise their one suggestion per day, but requires them to remove the old one first. This policy also prohibits people from withdrawing one suggestion and submitting a totally different one. --Gage 02:01, 22 August 2006 (BST)
No no no, i mean that if its spammed/author removed then they cannot make any more for the day. --Gold Blade Hunt! 02:06, 22 August 2006 (BST)
People need to be able to make revisions, but only if it is a slight tweaking.--Gage 02:16, 22 August 2006 (BST)
I mean, they can tweak it, but they cant post other sugestions, as they should make one suggestion perfect or remove it before going on to another. --Gold Blade Hunt! 02:19, 22 August 2006 (BST)
I am pretty sure, as is, the policy says that. Tell me if you disagree. --Gage 02:29, 22 August 2006 (BST)
Yes, but it isnot set to 1, its set to three until a suggestion is edited. --Gold Blade Hunt! 06:21, 22 August 2006 (BST)

I like it but I think it should be 2 suggestions per day. One does seem a little too harsh. Pillsy 15:07, 22 August 2006 (BST)

Complaint

I think making it two suggestions per day would be better. Anyway wouldn't this be better suited to be put here? - Jedaz 02:33, 22 August 2006 (BST)

nobody ever reads that do they?--Gage 02:40, 22 August 2006 (BST)
Unh, not as many people but it's still the more appropiate place for it. - Jedaz 06:20, 22 August 2006 (BST)

I think not

First, this belongs on Talk:Suggestions. However, I don't like this change as it currently stands. I would vote for a maximum of two suggestions per day, but one per day is too restrictive. Also, you provide no reason for the change. I'd be happier if you explained why you think the rule needs to be changed. –Bob Hammero ModB'cratTA 06:19, 22 August 2006 (BST)

can a banner be placed at the top of the screen linking to this potential change? I wan't people to know about it. If you can do that, feel free to just move it yourself too.--Gage 06:39, 22 August 2006 (BST)
It could just be me (that's definitely a possibility), but last time I checked Bob didn't need your permission to do things. Nor did he take your orders. You want it publicised? Do it yourself. Cyberbob  Talk  08:23, 22 August 2006 (BST)
I didn't order him to do anything, prick. I never was bothering you, leave me alone. --Gage 14:59, 22 August 2006 (BST)
