This is a text-based "escape the room" puzzle, but think of Myst rather than a flash game. It's classier and similarly obtuse.

MOVING and INSPECTING does not cost any AP.
Performing an ACTION removes 1 AP.
There is one way out. If you reach 0 AP before escaping, you lose. If you die, you lose.
