Intro

Howdy! I'm just an Urban Dead player who's made a point of trying to enjoy as many aspects of the game and its community as possible. Towards that end, I've created userscripts, led or helped to lead some of the top groups, written a handful of guides, and have generally engaged in the wiki community quite a bit. This is the first wiki that I've really gotten involved with, so if you see me making stupid mistakes, clue me in, since I'm still learning. Despite that, the wiki community periodically promotes me to be a sysop. God help us all.

In terms of the game, I want to experience everything it had to offer, so as you can see by the character list to the side, I have characters in some of the premiere groups of Malton. They all lead separate existences, and a few of them actively fight against the efforts of the others, though they've never met or even gotten close to each other (nor will they ever do so unless I make a major mistake). Oh, and since they're all separate characters, please treat them as such. Just because my zombie's horde may have ruined your day doesn't mean that my survivor won't be coming in afterwards to help you patch things together.

Extended Background

I'm a software developer in College Station, Texas, USA. I've interned with various subcontractors for NASA (e.g. Lockheed Martin), and did a stint for four years as a Teaching Assistant at Texas A&M while in grad school, where I had the privilege of assisting the professors in teaching over 2300 students in numerous programming languages and over a variety of subjects.

To cut off the obvious questions, no, I will not help you troubleshoot your computer, nor will I design your wiki page for you. I use and love my Macs because they let me get work done without having to worry about it not working or having to be configured for hours on end to work exactly how I want. As for design, while I like to think my userspace looks cool, it takes me way too long to make things not suck, so I try to avoid it. That said, if you run into a technical issue and put in some serious effort trying to figure it out, I'm usually up for helping people get over those sorts of hurdles.

I've lived on all three of the major coasts in America, in each case in the southern half of the country, so my exposure to cold temperatures is pretty limited. In fact, the place I'm living at now is the furthest inland (around 140 miles/225 km), the highest elevated (about 360 feet/110 m), the most cold (it'll get below freezing a few times each winter), and the most hot (we routinely have highs over well 105°F/40°C each summer) I've ever lived, strange as that may sound to most people out there.

Otherwise, I guess I could point out the fact that I am a Christian that holds pretty traditional/conservative values in terms of most of the controversial issues. For some reason, this tends to surprise people. Go figure.

Minutiae

Backloggery.com: As most know, I enjoy video games from a large selection of genres (pretty much everything but sports games), but I am most enamored with classic (or soon-to-be classic) games that demonstrate great mechanics. I particularly enjoy underrated games, but I don't let the popularity of something dissuade me from playing it. If you're curious about the games I have or what I'm playing, check me out at the link. MyAnimeList.net: In terms of anime, my tastes are a bit simpler: I usually avoid series that span hundreds of episodes, I don't watch hentai, and the stuff I watch is usually not obscure. Check the link if you want more information about what I've seen or what I'm watching now (assuming I'm watching something, since I've been slowing down recently).

Otherwise, I do a bit of coding for fun in my spare time, and have dabbled in several dozen different programming, scripting, markup, and query languages at this point. Check my userscripts for some examples of coding I've done for fun within the scope of UD.

You might see me around the Internet since I do tend to get around. These days, I go by the Aichon handle almost exclusively (or Aichonic when it's unavailable), but in the past I've used Anubis IV and Orison as handles at various sites and in various services.
