Gunstar

As a member of the Reid Group/Reid Librarians, I intend to protect our Library and/or the surrounding area. Namely the general area of Chudleyton and Caiger Mall. Not exactly doing a really great job of it in light of recent news, but we try to help out. Managed to get out of the 29 zed attack on the Library alive with my fedora intact at least.

Well, since then, it seems we've picked up, been sitting around for a while now, and we completely missed the fact that Caiger was taken back for about a week. Embarrassing on our part, sure, but we managed to get all the major resource points aside from the mall back in action around us without the mall. Hooray. Then we moved on to using the mall, like it would've been good to in the first place.

I'm quite proud at how well we've held out in the past from major zombie attacks on Caiger and the general suburb in the past, where we lasted a decently long time. Usually. Not doing so hot right now, but I'm sure we'll get back up.

Reid Hershel

He started off as just an alt to use that was in a safer environment than Chudleyton, but later ran (or helped run on the CMS frequency anyway) the Caiger Mall Updates back when Gunstar was more or less screwed and left to lay in the street for a month or so. That was pretty neat. Nothin' cooler than starting from scratch, learning some zombies a lesson, and managing to gather up all the resources to run a radio station at level 5 or so.

He resided at a cemetary in Santlerville for the longest time, but now with the new attacks on Caiger, plans to get back up and start up the Caiger Zed Updates over the radio again.

Catherine Warwick

A bit of a project or somesuch of mine. Basically, I was trying to see how long I'd last by only buying skills by staying in places I'd learn them for a while and any actual practice I could get while not dying. This started in April and ended yesterday. (--Gunstar 03:22, 9 September 2007 (BST))

Cathy Warwick

Well, since Catherine Warwick was originally a single-life character I decided to remake her for Monroeville since that was a major part of it. For added fun, let's throw together some bad dialogue to go with my video diary.

You hold the camera at arm's length, and record an introduction against the background of Spaulding Mall. You film the jury-rigged generator, and the dim lights of the building. The radio transmitter hisses and murmurs in the background. You film the crowd gathered inside Spaulding Mall. You film the signs of life left by the survivors, ending with a steady shot of the graffiti on the wall. --06:09, 4 March 2008 (UTC)

Here I am at Spaulding Mall. I had actually woken up in a hospital some... nine? Ten days ago? Anyway, I woke up, kinda stumbled around, and found there was some unfortunate problems in the city. Mainly zombies. After gathering some First-Aid Kits, I managed to head out. Since then I've managed to drift from hospital to library to hospital again in a search for a safehouse from the Zacks and even managed to kill one and help some people.

In any case, I finally found a place that looks safe enough to stay. It's got power, a radio, and plenty of diverse people. There's doctors, police officers, a small military presence, and even a nun. There's also some graffiti over there, but it seems to just be someone complaining about not finding any video cameras. Sucker.

In closing, although things are looking bleak, I've got to admit it's getting better. A little better all the time. *takes a sip from a wine bottle* Can't get no worse.

There were some flares and stuff today. Wonder what that's all about. --05:24, 6 March 2008 (UTC)

Edging as close as you dare, you film a slow zoom in on the lone zombie. It doesn't seem to have noticed you as you track it around, and you get a couple of minutes' worth of decent footage.

---

So, I found this fellow hanging around ol' Donica Alley PD. He's exhibiting the typical lone zombie behavior of not being capable of doing much to cause me harm... Gotta be careful around them still though. That one bite... Actually, I was beginning to doubt that there were any more zacks. I wonder if I woke up too late in the quarantine... or too early? Whatever, so long as I'm not still here when I'm sixty-four. --02:07, 7 March 2008 (UTC)

   * A zombie brought down the last of the barricades. Your camera was running at the time. (30 minutes ago)
   * A zombie killed sunb0rny. Your camera was running, and caught their death. (26 minutes ago)
   * A zombie killed Ice Ninja. (24 minutes ago)

   * fuked up now killed a zombie. Your camera was running, and caught it. (1 minute ago)

Whoa! Woke up to quite some commotion and uh...

You set your camera down in a good position, and looking around for something to barricade the building with, you find a smashed television. You move it towards the doors, and begin to build a barricade.

I guess I spoke too soon yesterday... Well, gotta help out somehow. At least I've done this before.

   * You attack the zombie for 3 damage. They die.
   * You clear a body out of the building.
   * You make your way through the building.

Well. That was something. Dragging around a dead body definitely felt... odd. I think I'll try to hold onto myself over on the other side of the mall. There's still two more zombies over there and I'm not sure how exactly I can help any more. Maybe I'll just fix this hole where the rain gets in... --23:58, 7 March 2008 (UTC)

Looks like it's happening again. Just another day in the life now.

You film the dim light at the building's windows. From a safe distance, you zoom in on one of the bodies.--17:25, 20 March 2008 (UTC)

So, today, I heard about some talks of this epidemic may be "finishing". So I decided to walk around filming without much luck. It's been quiet for a long time, so I guess most of the zacks have been killed off or rounded up or whatever. I guess I'm one of the lucky ones for having not been attacked or anything... It'd be nice to get back home, and maybe get a little help from my friends in getting everything on track again.

---

Well, apparently the "finishing" bit is just them closing the borders. As in, not actually helping us. How lame. --04:44, 27 March 2008 (UTC)
