My name is Isabel Febrey (that is a pseudonym - can't be too careful in the outbreak!) and since the quarantine, I have decided to study Undead Psychology at the Miskatonic University. You may find me as a '''<u>SOULLESS CORPSE</u>''' in an attempt to get a first-hand study of an outbreak victim. You are obliged to resurrect me if I am in this pantomimic state.

At the onset of the undead plague, my family and I fled Malton for safety. However, my childhood friend, Telisha, had not (to my knowledge) absconded, so I returned to the broken city. Before we could finally ditch Malton forever, the British Army had arrived under order of the Government and sealed off Malton from the rest of Britain.
Journals are keys to minds, my father said, as he handed me a purple notebook for my 10th birthday.

Telisha didn't make it for long. She was attacked by a virulent zombie and infected sometime in 2006; I can't specify a distinct time. It's all such a long time ago, a painful past...

I don't know what has happened of my family, of Telisha... or perhaps, even of me. I am a changed lady - in body and in mind. Decisions that repulsed me years ago do not phase me now. For example: before 2005, most anti-government protesters would have been deemed as conspiracy theorists and wackos under my judgment - now, I probably am one, ever since the Malton council allotted the blame to NecroTech, a fairly new biomedical research corporation with '''nothing''' to do with the Malton Incident.
