After doing this, with fresh witness' all around him, Jacen left Bale mall and Yagoton, and began making the long journey to the new territory of ERIS.
Upon arriving in Wykewood, Jacen had an epiphany. He realized that his efforts to protect ths survivors of Malton was in fact counterproductive, for through their constant deaths, they became mutated and thus posed a great risk upon the outside populace. He knew a cure might well be possible, and that ERIS could very well use the cure for their own ends. It was decided that The Exclave would work to kill all non-citizens of its organization (excluding those who, if for their own ends, assisted in the cleansing of Malton through killing the "living") and destroy the functioning of NecroTech Installations to prevent revives on anything beyond the smallest scale.
Overtime, as the process of cleansing begun, Jacen began to receive transmissions over the Exclave frequency from an unknown party claiming to be from outside of Malton. While initially he thought little of these broadcasts, he longed to escape what he felt was a stalemate, to find another way to complete his goals for ERIS, and so he began conversing with this strange person. What happened next is not completely certain. What is known is that during the last days he was seen, he was highly erratic, firing off at all targets. Without biding anyone farewell, he left his West Malton safehouse, never to be seen again. It is believed that he may of boarded a helicopter which was seen flying quite low on that day in his general vicinity, but it is truly uncertain what actually happened.
Some believe that he still wanders the city, others feel he did in fact leave, for whatever purpose. Either way, on October 29th, the First President of ERIS was gone, never to be seen again. The fallout of his departure on the Exclave would be immense, and would not be filled until a newcomer came forth and took up his office.

Biography

Born a bastard to Alexander Brazeau, Duke of Pegrum, on September 9th, 1990, in his mother's house on Gore Lane, Jacen grew up in relative poverty, committing various crimes to help his mother get by. When she died, Jacen's father, only then revealing himself, took Jacen into his house on Shire Crescent in East Boundwood. It was at this point that the boy gained a proper education, however his father's abusiveness spoiled any enjoyment Jacen could take from living in his father's otherwise relatively luxurious house.

Pre-Outbreak

However, after tolerating the abuse for a few years, Jacen finally ran away, staying with one of his friends back on Gore Lane. His father did not even make an attempt to find him, though Jacen saw him one more time after his father's death (taking place only two weeks before the recently deceased began to rise, sparing Jacen the possibility of seeing him undead or alive again. During this time Jacen became a volunteer firefighter at Pegrum Square Fire Station while he worked to complete his last year of high school. However, he, like many Maltonians, grew concerned as news began to spread about the return of the deceased in undead form around Malton.

Outbreak

As news of the outbreak spread, panic took over the minds of many in the city. During the evacuations, however, Jacen refused to go until as many others as possible in Roachtown were evacuated. This proved to be a mistake for him, as the limited supply of trucks carrying the Roachtown evacuees filled up well beyond capacity, forcing them to leave Jacen, who at the time willingly accepted it not realizing the gravity of the situation, and many others behind. Jacen then took up refuge in his place of employment and helped to keep it secure for several weeks until it was overun, ending his life for the first time. He would later by randomly revived right outside of the station, at which point he decided he should take the opportunity to escape Roachtown and go to a less ravaged suburb.

Post-Outbreak

In the initial few years after the outbreak, Jacen traversed all over Malton, seeking to find purpose or an escape from Malton or the Life-Death-Undead cycle which plagued Malton. Eventually, he returned to the fire station he worked at in Roachtown and joined one of the local gangs that protected the living of Roachtown.

After a while, Jacen grew tired of life in the gang, despite all the good it did him, and traveled north to Shearbank, and west to Yagoton. It was in this time he began killing. Initially it was just the weak and isolated, whom he would simply kill with his fire axe and feast on the parts of their remains he hacked off for sustenance, but eventually it became people all over, regardless of their strength or lack thereof. Jacen, during this time, stayed in a Junkyard, where he kept souvenirs and trophies from his kills. Eventually, Jacen was slain in a zombie attack on his junkyard, a death from which it took him nearly a year to rise again.

Return

After over a year of simply being dead, Jacen stood up as a Zombie, feeding on the living and dead like he did in life. Eventually, he encountered Savaer, the nickname of Syphon Thames Eahart, an old friend of his. Jacen and Savaer ended up forming the Brotherhood of Blood and ravaged Roachtown, Shearbank, Yagoton and several other suburbs for a while, before eventually they dissolved the group upon being discovering old archives by a group known as "The Exclave".

The Exclave turned out to be a splintered remnant of the Democratic Armed Republic of Independent Suburbs, a post-outbreak nation that Jacen had admired during his wandering days, and a group that sought to restore said nation to its rightful place as ruler of Shearbank. Armed with the knowledge the Exclave Archives gave him, as well as the will to resurrect both The Exclave and the nation it served, Jacen assumed the role of "General in the Exclave Militia and Head of State of DARIS". During this period, he and Savaer worked to reestablish DARIS control in at least a part of Shearbank, assaulting Ranahan Public Radio, a propaganda station, in the process. Eventually, after a brief exile at Bale Mall and its surrounding area, where they regrouped, the Exclave marched into Shearbank, taking over the South-Central District. It was at this time that Jacen oversaw the restoration of the Thorne Arms, which would be declared the DARIS presidential residence, and its surrounding buildings made into HQ's for the various arms of the government.

President

It was at this time that Jacen was formally sworn in, by the will of the Populat, as President of the Democratic Armed Republic of Independent Suburbs, formalizing his control over the DARIS remnants and allowing him to more properly oversee the restoration of order to Shearbank. For quite some time, he and his understaffed militia, led by Savaer, braved the struggles of Post-Outbreak Malton in Shearbank, where he and other brave members of the Exclave face relentless undead attacks, insane murderers and hypocritical pundits who seek to undermine DARIS. Eventually, due to a lack of support from the people of Shearbank, relentless slander attacks from the corrupt radio broadcaster, Ranahan Public Radio (RPR), and a zombie invasion, the President was faced with a tough choice. While RPR, out of cowardice, abandoned Shearbank, the Exclave stood and fought, holding the presidential residence and its surrounding buildings the best they could. Eventually, however, after a long, heated and emotional meeting with Savaer, the President made a groundbreaking decision with huge ramifications for the future of the Exclave. The President, in an executive order, officially moved the capital to one of the nominally claimed suburbs outside of Shearbank, Yagoton. In light of the change of capital and due to DARIS' historical ties to Shearbank, Jacen, reorganized DARIS into ERIS (the Exclave Republic of Independent Suburbs), as to allow it to, while not dropping its claim to being a direct continuation of the old DARIS, take control of its own destiny outside of Shearbank. After issuing the decree, Jacen stayed one final night in Shearbank, at the former Presidential Residence, and prepared to move himself and his people to a new destiny.

When Jacen arrived in Yagoton, he and Savaer, whom he met up with in Bale Mall, began to scout the area for additional information. Eventually, after finding that another survivor group, the Abandoned already had a presence there and were the designated protectors of the Yagoton Revivification Clinic, which ERIS had hoped to themselves protect in order to help establish a degree of regulation over Yagoton and to, ultimately, be able to contract different groups in the areas to manage different things, as a means of bringing about fair unity. However, with such hopes shattered, and with other tainted elements present, the Exclave was to, on Jacen and Savaer's orders, pack up and move to another suburb. After some thought, the largely ignored and abandoned suburb of Wykewood was to become the new home and sovereign territory of ERIS. Before departing for Wykewood, Jacen spotted one of RPR's propaganda agents hiding out in bale mall. Locked and loaded, the President confronted the agent, known as The Envoy, and blew him to hell with several shotgun and pistol shots before throwing the disgraceful agent's body to the hordes.
