As of 4:52pm (-5:00GMT), I've managed to scrounge up enough First-Aid Kits (ten, as a matter of fact) to serve me well on my next healing expedition (planned either tonight or tomorrow). The more I work at it, the easier it'll be to identify injuries and patch them up.

Nothing much. Spent the day salvaging medical supplies at Egbert.

March 1st, 2007

I managed to patch up a few people in the Hollomstown area today. I have to say I wasn't a big fan of dodging and weaving between zombies on the street, but the survivors I found had been infected and were in pretty rough shape. Definitely worth the risk. As I spend the night back in Egbert Hospital, I can only hope they're still okay.

February 28th, 2007

I'm currently holed up in Egbert General Hospital in West Grayside. Supplies include:

• five First-Aid Kits
• a Crowbar
• Radio
• Mobile Phone
• four pistol clips (for which I have no pistol, I might add)
• Binoculars
• a bottle of Wine
• and a bottle of Beer

Should be safe here - I haven't seen much activity in the surrounding area, just the occasional lone zombie from which I had no trouble running, heh.

Since I'm new to the area and have basically no personal contacts, my present course of action will be to stock up on first aid supplies and search the neighboring locations for those in need of a quick heal. According to the intel I've read, Hollomstown is still has moderate zombie activity and thus may be ideal to search for wounded. The only downside to this is the fact that I've no medical training - patching up others is trial and error, as I've no way to tell if they're injured. I believe improving that little detail will be my next goal.

So...that's the plan. Here's to hoping I don't waltz into the arms of a mob of zombies anytime soon.
