Who would have thought that a city such as Malton could be the birth place of such terrors? On a typical day you could awaken to the sounds of children playing in the streets, cars honking their horns and the sound of distant sirens in the heart of the city.

It was in the later part of the 20th century that things seemed to start going wrong for the city; conspiracies and stories of government agencies and cults were on everyones lips, ever since that night at Pitman Mansion where it seemed (quite literally) all hell broke loose.

The northern most suburbs were the first to fall silent, Quarlesbank, then West Boundwood. Brief news flashes were appearing on TV's across the city reporting of people attacking one another in a frenzied blood lust, papers were showing stories and hinting that Lord Pitman had been at the centre of the whole fiasco. What had exactly happened? No one can be 100% sure, but the one certainty is that Quarlesbank was its point of origin.
