I'm really getting tired of all those anti pking suggestions popping up. Can't they just go back to making powerstation suggestions.

So people might say that I just react automatically to pking suggestions, but I don't. It's just that suggestion's like pker flag and the like make the game less fun.

People I hate

Blueberry Hill --Moron pked me while I slept in a wharehouse in Heytown. Dumped my body outside. I'd love to have a private chat with him

Posie --Then, after I wake up and head over to the local Revive Point This jerk kills me again!! His parting words were: BAD ZOMBIE, BAD ZOMBIE! And since he had headshot I need to wait even longer! I'd love to thank him privately

I'm the winner kid!!

(copied from Gold Blades Page) I personally think this is a honor of the highest order!

Eat Self

Timestamp: 22:43, 6 September 2006 (BST)
Type: Skill
Scope: Zombies
Description: A new 600 XP skill under Digestion, this allows the zombie to take a bite out of himself for the cost of 10 HP. Invigorated, he gains an AP. Digestion does not come into effect, so you cant heal yourself from your own bite. You can go over 50 AP. aaaaaaaaaAnkle grasp will work if you die of overeating yourself.

Votes

  1. Spam in so many ways. +6 AP and immunity from headshot? I don't think so. – Nubis NWO 01:10, 7 September 2006 (BST)
  2. Kill - 600xp is plain ridiculous. How much AP would he gain?? I kinda like the more Ap stuff but.. since HP actually dont main jack shit to a Zed this is just free APs.. Imagine a fight.. as a zed at 50hp you eat 40 hp, you die from some survivor who spent a lot aps finding that gun, loading it & finally killing you with it. The zed gets up again, spends 40hp on aps, fights untill he s dead again, gets up & eats his 40 HPs again. In the end this zed ll keep standing untill his IP hits run out & he cant play till the next day! --Dgn 01:18, 7 September 2006 (BST)

#Spam -- Congratulations!!! You just won the supidest suggestion award. I mean this thing is so full of spam that it could take a bite out of itself and then die from the reation to the spam. Spamatize this Captain.... for the sake of humanity! --Officer Johnieo 01:25, 7 September 2006 (BST)

  1. Re: - You just won the most hilarious vote award! I'm keeping this in my user page just for this vote! And please, everyone vote Spam. --Gold Blade 01:33, 7 September 2006 (BST)
  2. Author Spam - Horrible. I just made this to get it out of my head. It's been keeping me from thinking of better ideas. And I hate this loathsome monstrosity I created. --Gold Blade 01:33, 7 September 2006 (BST)

My First Flame War

Q: What do ya get when you combine: A spamtastic suggestion, a newbie to the wiki, and a certain officer always ready for a debate?

A: A flame War!

Scroll down to the spam section to see me and "Krestrel" match wits. I'm also proud to report, that after my vicious unwelcoming Krestel has never been seen again on the Wiki. The system works!

The Games

Timestamp: Kestrel 19:56, 3 October 2006 (BST)
Type: Environment
Scope: Stadiums.
Description: While on a stadium square, all XP gains are increased by 50%. Bodies are dumped outside the stadium as they fall, and characters may only enter once a week. I'm not sure of the numbers, but after seeing Land of the Dead and reading the latest Walking Dead trade paperback, I think we need something along these lines for the stadiums.

Keep Votes

  1. Keep Naturally. ;) --Kestrel 19:56, 3 October 2006 (BST)
  2. Keep If this gets passed maybe stadiums might have an open door policy no barricading. Just duels. --MrAushvitz 20:07, 3 October 2006 (BST)

Kill Votes
Against Votes here

  1. Kill - I might keep this with a few changes (or possibly clarifications, depending on the intent of this): Only Survivor v. Zombie XP gains would recieve the bonus, and only inside of a stadium. And would the "once a week" be in one calendar week? or you can't enter for a full week from your last entry? And could you enter other stadiums before the week was up? --Rgon 20:44, 3 October 2006 (BST)
    • Re Ah, I should most definitely have been clearer here. I was thinking of something else entirely - that it should only be 'on' once a week in the first place. Say, every Sunday. --Kestrel 20:56, 3 October 2006 (BST)
      • Re I see. Yeah, I think some clarification would be helpful, although I don't know whether it would get any more positive feedback out of it. --Rgon 00:23, 4 October 2006 (BST)
    • Re At this point, I am convinced that any suggestion is fortunate if even half the votes have anything to do with the idea. --Kestrel 00:37, 4 October 2006 (BST)

Spam/Dupe Votes

  1. Spam - Er, whats this? Double the xp and only one entry per week? Unfair, you could a. stay there all week and not leave and b. this would be very hard to put in I should think. Urbandead isn't a film. --MarieThe Grove 20:16, 3 October 2006 (BST)
    • Re I'm aware it's not a film, and the difficulty of implementation is up to Kevan. As I said, I'm not sure of the numbers, but I think the core idea is sound. --Kestrel 20:47, 3 October 2006 (BST)
  2. Spam - Is this for real? This breaks gameplay. --Nob666 20:22, 3 October 2006 (BST)
    • Re So the very concept of games in the stadium, no matter how appropriate to the genre, is inherently game-breaking? I said that I wasn't sure of the numbers. I'm down for counter-suggestions. I just wish people would give a deeper critique than "No" sometimes. --Kestrel 21:10, 3 October 2006 (BST)
  3. Spam - This is roleplay (ie you can already do it). No reason you should get extra XP. --Funt Solo 20:41, 3 October 2006 (BST)
    • Re The idea's to support a genre convention. That it's already an RP option is no reason not to reinforce it on some level. --Kestrel 20:47, 3 October 2006 (BST)
  4. Spam - What nob666 said.--Mr yawn 21:02, 3 October 2006 (BST)
  5. Spam - I like flavor as much as the next guy, But this is the wrong type of flavor. Urbandead is a bit more minty, and this is more like dill pickle.--Labine50 MHG|MalTel 22:49, 3 October 2006 (BST)
  6. Spam Because I'm standing in a stadium I randomly learn more by attacking zombies. --Jon Pyre 23:35, 3 October 2006 (BST)
    • Re I'm trying to encourage in the game a heretofore untapped theme of the genre. I'm open to other ideas of the core concept. --Kestrel 23:49, 3 October 2006 (BST)
  7. Pickle Flavor - Stadiums should give you more Xp when you drink BEER people, becuase they serve them in really small cups! --Officer Johnieo 23:37, 3 October 2006 (BST)
    • ReNot trying to step on toes here, but two people have made the ridiculous claim of "pickle flavor" as their excuse to declare my suggestion spam. Is this not grounds to have their votes struck down? --Kestrel 23:49, 3 October 2006 (BST)
    • Re Well basically my reasoning is the same as Jon Pyre's, but I'd rather make a joke, then just say Ditto. Also, if you did strike my and Labines vote your suggestioned would still be looking at the peer rejected pile. --Officer Johnieo 00:41, 3 October 2006 (BST)
    • Re While I am currently looking into it, I presently feel that five of the spam votes are not being properly used, for a variety of reasons. I also tend to think that if your reasons are shared with Jon Pyre's, it would be more productive to take my response to him into account. Regardless, I find myself caring less and less about this format of suggestions. It seems designed more to squelch ideas, regardless of value, than as a legitimate means of review. --Kestrel 00:46, 4 October 2006 (BST)
    • Re - All I can say is that the format of suggesting is the format for a reason. Here on the Wiki you have to grow a thick skin, just becuase someone doesn't like your ideas, doesn't mean they don't like you. --Officer Johnieo 00;58, 3 October 2006 (BST)
    • Re And all I can say is that the bulk of these spam votes have little to nothing to do with the actual suggestion. I did not put forward the suggestion because I want to be liked. I put it forward because I thought that we had an untapped aspect of the genre that we could use. The majority of these votes betray not the slightest sign of any thought behind them. They are, for all intents and purposes, useless. I cannot use them for future reference to redeem this idea, nor do I have any but the faintest clues as to why they were made at all. If people care enough to vote, you would think they'd care enough to explain themselves. --Kestrel 01:03, 4 October 2006 (BST)
    • Re - Let me explain something, a spam vote equals unsavagable suggestion. That means that this is not right for Urban Dead and never will be. People aren't forced to give you ways to improve it if it is unimproveable. Also, you have only 2 keep votes, one from yourself, and one from a player known for his bad suggestions. This suggestion is dead, get over it. --Officer Johnieo 01:43, 4 October 2006 (BST)
    • Re I have no problems with the suggestion being dead. I have every problem with people who care enough to want to kill it, but not enough to explain why. --Kestrel 01:48, 4 October 2006 (BST)
    • Re - who says they have to give a reason when nob666 said it for us. This Breaks Gameplay!. --Officer Johnieo 01:58, 4 October 2006 (BST)
    • Re To which I responded, wondering what was inherently game-breaking about games in the stadium. --Kestrel 01:59, 4 October 2006 (BST)
    • Re Fights aren't, but double Xp is!! --Officer Johnieo 02:04, 4 October 2006 (BST)
    • Re I didn't suggest doubled XP. I suggested +50%, which is half again as much. I also said I was unsure of the numbers, and repeatedly said I was open to other suggestions. Regardless, I'm done here. Comments like that drove home my belief that the system's borked. You can spaminate an idea without even getting your facts right in the first place. --Kestrel 02:07, 4 October 2006 (BST)
    • Re ..... well..... that went well....... at least I won. ..... Does anyone know what "borked" means? --Officer Johnieo 02:13, 4 October 2006 (BST)
  8. Spam- Although if it were implemented that's where they could film the new Rocky movie.--Grigori 00:48, 4 October 2006 (BST)
    • Re Case in point. --Kestrel 00:49, 4 October 2006 (BST)
      • Re "In the blue corner, Rocky Balboa!" *Applause* "And in the red corner, Shambling Bob!!!" *Groans* "Let's get rreeaaaddyyy toooo rrruuuuummmmbllllleee!!!" *Shambling Bob immediately eats Rocky's face*--Grigori 01:33, 4 October 2006 (BST)
  9. This ain't no Gladiator movie...or were you going for the Greek Olympics? 1 entry per week? Are you kidding me? (Anyone who has a problem about me not writing Spam in front of my comment take it to my talk page. For crying out loud! This is the Spam section!) --Axe Hack 02:23, 4 October 2006 (BST)
