Who is Sheana?
Good question. She's an over-worked, over-stressed academic who thinks more women should be in Malton. Where the hell did this weird gender balance come from? It's the misogynists, she's pretty sure.
She plays three characters in Urban Dead. They're also all women. See above thoughts on gender in Malton.
Some of them are in groups, some aren't. Some of her characters are zombies, some aren't. Life is hard enough without having to worry about the politics of being dead; she'd rather just play and have fun.

| Gogolnik grew up in Petersburg, spending all her free time at the local museums. Her mother worked in one of the blini kiosks on Gorokhovaya, away from the tourist traffic of Nevsky. No surprise, Gogo's father loved all the classic Russian writers; her oddly masculine name, Gogol Tatyana Moryevich, was the last thing he gave her before he split. They had a little money, gifts from dead relatives better off than them, so Gogolnik was able to go abroad for University.
That's when it happened. Spending a weekend away from school, Gogo and her friends were touring the Malton museums when the plague hit. The buses shut down, and there was no way out. Before long, she and her comrades were infected; Gogo went first, and when she stood up she helped her sickly friends meet their destiny.
Gogolnik is the retired leader of both Cybele's Shamblers and it's successor, Hel's Daughters. She mostly wanders feral through northeastern Malton now, and wishes the Daughters (and Maeva, and Spiderbawz) all the tenderest brains in Malton.

A reformed member of one of the notorious gangs of killer dykes, DykeDoc (affectionately nicknamed DyDo by her friends) travels with a bag of syringes and first-aid kits and a single pink pistol. She runs with the Zookeepers because, hey, everybody needs somebody, and at least those somebodies know how to have a good party.

Sheana used to be a professor of feminist philosophy and ethics at a university in the United States. During a jaunt as a visiting professor across the pond, Sheana thought it would be interesting to explore the perceptions of feminism among the eclectic residents of Malton. While in the midst of field research, the plague spread like wildfire through the city. While for practical reasons Sheana has been more or less pro-survivor, she finds that life (or rather un-life) as a zombie gives her a much-needed time away from the heady life of a former academic.
