To quote something said long ago, that I have always decided to live by...
ISCARIOT IS A CRYBABY
These words cross my mind daily, and therefore I would like to add WHINING
and SENSLESS.
And that an "Iscariot" is more than one user.
I would also like to announce that Foley is God, people are too serious, and Kevan needs to update more. Also, checkuser rarely works as well as you would like. Before you say it, yes, this may be immature but riddle me this: Why does maturity matter on this wiki? Answer that with something besides your rehashed hopes and dreams and everything will become clear.
What are we accomplishing here? Where are we going? And why does it matter? This wiki has no true unbiased information on it. It is simply supporting a near dormant game. We all come back for one thing, to see the drama. To take part in the drama. Few can acutally say they want to make the wiki a better place without being flat out liars. Fact is, there is no hope on our own. Only Kevan could fix everything, and if he did would we want it? When we have no drama we seek to form it. When we have too much drama we seek to ignore it. Some say the end is nigh, others claim it's business as usual. People hate each other part of the time, then forget it the next moment. Wiki projects have come, gone and died. People have come gone, been banned, and gotten real lives.
Nubis was my last hope for this place. DCC/Nubis/whomever was in control is probably the best user on this wiki. Probably the only one who could fix this mess. If we all did more of what we don't want to do, this place would shape up quickly. Instead, we spin our wheels in the same muck we have been in for the longest time. Grim knew what was best, though he was an ass about it and knew not how to run a wiki. If Nubis' ideas and Grims' ideas could have found a way to coexist things would be better here.
Wikia has a policy where when a wiki were to fall into the state like the one here has, new staff is appointed to it. And until things are fixed, new people continually arrive to it to try to fix it. And if all else fails the wiki simple fades into the twilight that is permanent and total deletion. I have said it before, I shall say it again, this wiki is like a forums. I used to find that an entertaining novelty. At times were were like a political debating website (A/PD, A/VB, A/A) and at rare times were were a fan forum for the game that brought us all here. Now I see that this is why we arrived where we are. There is no novelty, there is no progress. We fight people we don't even know, and for the few people who actually know each other they seem to slowly realize that they are wasting their efforts on this place.
I don't mean to ramble, but luckily I have no more to say. This place is doomed and forever will be. We need our Nubis', we need our Grims', we need our Bob's, we need our Boxy's, and we need our average new comers. We don't need hate mongering hypocrites and we don't need people who feed the total decent from the last remaining remnants that remind us all here that we are in a wiki. We don't need a fresh start, we just need total reclamation. We don't need a Wiki Crusade, we need adaptation. We need to change.
