: kind of. I went to France twice last year (Normandy, and Paris), and realised that the few things i knew of french was mostly useless/insufficient for me to hold even a basic form of conversation. - kind of. I went to France twice last year (Normandy, and Paris), and realised that the few things i knew of french was mostly useless/insufficient for me to hold even a basic form of conversation.
