Yes, tis true, tis true. If you face a mirror and say anything starwars related 3 times finis (or if he's busy, one of his alts :P) jumps out and shoots you for 4 damage until they run out of ap and another finis alt will come along, say something witty, finish you off and dump your body.--xoxo 11:29, 18 August 2008 (BST)

I mean the other day i spent 106ap repairing what took a zombie 5ap.

Apply for your template! Mine is better than yours, cuz it's in 3-D. Ish. :P --WanYao 12:32, 14 September 2008 (BST)

i don't have iwits of that, instead i use the ol' get down to one ap and actually repairing it - creates a sense of reality and danger my fans love. Although for my next one i might add your sexy template to my vast collection :D --xoxo 12:43, 14 September 2008 (BST)

EW/Brooksey

Hey, i appreciate your skepticism regarding survivor presence in eastonwood but i assure you Brooke Hills is not a ghost town. Small pockets are ruined but the majority of the suburb is in great shape. It is Lacking in both a large survivor and zombie presence, however when over 50% of the buildings in the burb at at EHB it's hard to argue a case for ghost town.--J3DSR! 13:07, 15 September 2008 (BST)

sadly the barricades have nothing to do with Ghost Towns. It's all about the number of survivors and zombies and Brooke Hills doesn't have much of both. --Experiment211 20:41, 16 September 2008 (BST)
I'm not sure where you're doing your research or if you are zombie/human and i don't want to give too much away (for obvious reasons :P) but i assure you there are multiple buildings with 3-5 survivors in them, one building i saw with over 5 survivors, one building powered (alluding to a survivor presence) as well as a smattering of buildings with one survivor in them. In addition to that there was one horde of 10 zombies...nothing huge but certainly not a ghost town.--xoxo 05:06, 17 September 2008 (BST)

Suburb Groups.

Im pretty much against removing them for a number of reasons. They are.

  1. Advertising helps those smaller groups, people looking for help often look at the maps first, recruitment as a page is not as high profile as it should be.
  1. Its the only place on the wiki were you can find out this information simply and i feel its logical
  1. I'd hate to remove the historical groups.
  1. They are a lot more reflective than they used to be.

Ive been bouncing ideas round for a month or so and I was thinking about alternatives.

These include.

Subpages. Active groups are listed on a separate page, for instance Vinetown/groups

The lists of groups on sub pages link not to the group page, but rather their advert, this would give recruitment a much needed boost as a visited page, plus it would make updating the system easier. Advert expired? Remove the group from the suburb.

Group links being timestamped on the suburb pages.

All groups in a suburb being removed every x months.

--RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 18:29, 1 October 2008 (BST)

Hmm yeah, i'm previously been a proponent of them and it was Nick and me who got the ball rolling on splitting the list into survivor/PKer/zombie :D But with this latest White Cell 6 thing (spammed a group of under 10 members onto 39 suburb pages) and an argument arising about whether or not my group should be allowed on the Eastonwood page despite being the most influential survivor group in the suburb at the time, i figured the list could be removed and as well as the recruitment page (which could be given more high profile links to increase traffic), groups that wanted to be on the suburb page could simply make occasional news updates (see Brooke Hills for an example by my group). This would actually give other people an idea of who is involved in the suburb rather than simply whose group begins with an A...anyway thanks for letting me know your opinion, i don't think i care enough to bother doing anything about it by myself.. :P --xoxo 01:38, 2 October 2008 (BST)

If I can be serious for a moment...

I'm considering mounting another case for you to be a Sysop, sometime after the HSC. With Grim obviously on the way down and out, I feel as if you could provide the link to the people that he lacked. At your last application, I really think that Grim neglected getting in contact with boxy, ignored the rousing vote of confidence you got from the public, just so he could rule no bingo against you without interruption.

So, based on the public adoration you received last time, your much improved track record as of late, and the loss of the Wiki overlord coming in no time at all, I feel you would be the perfect candidate to take the wiki in a new, SysOp-User relationship based direction.

Of course, you would need to be ok with this. I'd probably start writing it up right after HSC so in about a month or so, and I would use the last case and Grims treatment of you as evidence etc.

What you think?--CyberRead240 10:08, 8 October 2008 (BST)

I think i may have said on Grim's talk page i have no real interest in nominating myself, BUT if i had the support of my many, many adoring fans across this great wiki of ours, it's not something i'd say no to. Of course as all great politicians, i'd need a competent speech writer...--xoxo 10:10, 8 October 2008 (BST)
Maybe we make a JED08 team or something and campaign mercilessly until the masses believe our bullshit, then we can tell them you created UD and Kevan is some sort of impostor, and that you should take rightful place as wiki overlord.--CyberRead240 10:18, 8 October 2008 (BST)
The first thing i will do is apologise to the original inhabitants of this great wiki, my speech should be approximately 45 minutes long enough, just long enough so i can insert naughty words in it and no one's paying attention so they don't notice. That's right krudd...i'm onto you...
But seriously, let's go for J3D 09, 2009 will be a year of change plus means we can disassociate from the rabble that you call sysops of 08. What say you to that? A nice January campaign should do the job.--xoxo 10:22, 8 October 2008 (BST)
I'm keen, but no doubt boredom will set in one night while you are up in newcastle and we will do it earlier.--CyberRead240 10:25, 8 October 2008 (BST)
Perhaps, perhaps. Well we should get the J3D09 page ASAP, if we want this to work we'll need over the top publicity including wiki pages and random unexpected redirects, not to mention the signatures...--xoxo 10:27, 8 October 2008 (BST)
I somehow think this will be detrimental to your hopes and dreams of being promoted...--CyberRead240 10:34, 8 October 2008 (BST)

2 Cool

Keep your shitty template off pages that should be completely group-non-specific. I'm more than willing to go to Arbitration over this matter. --HAHAHA DISREGARD THAT, I SUCK COCKS 06:12, 11 October 2008 (BST)

I'll restore the pages to their pre edit war state and you fire up the arbies then. Be sure to make it against ALiM contributors, or 2 Cool and friends or something.--xoxo 06:14, 11 October 2008 (BST)
Btw if you're interested in reaching a compromise before arbies lemme know and we can irc asap, i'll be busy over the coming weeks so this could drag out.--xoxo 06:18, 11 October 2008 (BST)
Can I be arbitot? -- boxy talki 06:23 11 October 2008 (BST)
Lul, i'm hoping an agreement can be reached without arbies as i totally don't have the time, but if it does come to that...NO! Don't worry it's nothing personal, oh wait, yes it is. :D --xoxo 06:26, 11 October 2008 (BST)

There is no compromise; your group is advertising (and claiming de facto ownership) in places it shouldn't be. The fugliness of the template is a secondary concern. --HAHAHA DISREGARD THAT, I SUCK COCKS 06:31, 11 October 2008 (BST)

Until bob clearly states what he actually wants from this case i will not accept any arbitrator.--xoxo 07:42, 11 October 2008 (BST)
Admittedly my goals have changed; they are now for the Great Fire page to be restored back to the public namespace and for a more restrained and neutral template linking to ALiM implemented instead of that other monstrosity. --HAHAHA DISREGARD THAT, I SUCK COCKS 07:44, 11 October 2008 (BST)
ALiM was already in the process of getting a less obnoxious navbar.--CyberRead240 07:45, 11 October 2008 (BST)
A more neutral one? --HAHAHA DISREGARD THAT, I SUCK COCKS 07:47, 11 October 2008 (BST)
Neutral to what? ALiM is fucking ALiM? And every page they created has something to do with ALiM? So what do you mean by more neutral, outline your intentions.--CyberRead240 07:49, 11 October 2008 (BST)
Fucking hell bob, this is why when i say "Would you be interested in discussing this and arranging a compromise?" You say "Yes, that would be dandy". Okay? Also, once we find someone who can do code work the navbar will improve, that is nothing to do with you. Secondly, Great Fire was created and almost exclusively edited by the ALiM crowd. Furthermore it was created as an extension of ALiM to further the fictional histories of several ALiM locations, why should it be in the public namespace? And yes, that will largely be my A/A arguement, feel free to rebut. Actually fuck A/A, just rebut it now.--xoxo 07:50, 11 October 2008 (BST)
Nah. --HAHAHA DISREGARD THAT, I SUCK COCKS 07:55, 11 October 2008 (BST)
Alright.--xoxo 07:57, 11 October 2008 (BST)

Dakerstown danger

According tp EMRP - 21:27, 11 October 2008 (BST) "... leaving Dakerstown, counted about sixty outside ... a few big groups, but they're spread out ... a lot of buildings with lights on ... only a few buildings damaged ... the Pask Building has lights on ..." (18 hours and 18 minutes ago)

That's 60 z0mbies outside 5 days ago and we've got 44 outside Pask NT up from 20 just 3 days ago. The town is cade strafed but sparsely populated with breathers who hold Swearse PD and Barts Hospital, maybe 50 Beerhah crew plus local Fuack and some communists. If/when the NT falls it's usually a bloodbath. I have no problems upgrading this burb to Danger, how about you? --Zeug 19:02, 16 October 2008 (BST)
