I have noticed that you didn't have a talk page and were eligible for being welcomed by members of our staff. But, checking the number and date of your contributions, I decided to just point you towards the template itself and offer you my help whenever you ask for it. Feel free to stop at Project Welcome/Welcomenewbie if you want a useful array of tips, Help:Contents and the detailed help down here if you want a deeper insight on how a wiki works. Also, use my talk page whenever you have any question about wiki technicalities and/or the specific rules that pertain this particular wiki. See yah!

And yet, it appears as if I just have. Huh? Weird. James Slimm 00:15, 26 May 2012 (BST)

Scent Trail

Sorry, Vapor, but that (Scent Lost) thing only works if you were originally killed as a zed. Unless, of course, you use a few simple commands...(Oh, and FYI, yea, we may have used this early on. You guys struck us when we were testing and having fun with the many URL hacks available, see, so us knowing where you were early on into this isn't exactly that much a surprise. Would explain why I constantly edged you all on to kill me when I'm zed. *whistles casually*) :P --•▬ ▬••▬ • •••• •▬ ▬•▬• ▬•▬ #nerftemplatedsigs 07:47, 27 July 2012 (BST)

No, we pretty much figured it out the first time Meeso died. So... maybe half of your paltry kills were due to a cheap trick... pretty sad, actually. Also, we're still preparing a smorgasbord of freshly-prepared newbs, level six and under, just for you, Axe, so hold on tight. You should be dining in luxury in no time! *sticks a fork in some Agent cake on her plate* -Abby Omination 09:31, 27 July 2012 (BST)
As Kirsty has said, "Using poor coding is not cheating." In a way, it sort of balances out for the advantage you have in a smaller number. --•▬ ▬••▬ • •••• •▬ ▬•▬• ▬•▬ #nerftemplatedsigs 14:10, 27 July 2012 (BST)
I also suspect this is the reason you wanted to hold a manhunt in your burb. But that's just craaaaazy talk right there, I bet. James Slimm 15:30, 27 July 2012 (BST)
Manhunt? Not exactly a manhunt when the targets are the locals. --•▬ ▬••▬ • •••• •▬ ▬•▬• ▬•▬ #nerftemplatedsigs 15:32, 27 July 2012 (BST)
A manhunt would be PvP against agreed upon participants, with no local involvement. Throw in the locals as targets, however, that becomes a PK event, such as Samhain Slaughter. --•▬ ▬••▬ • •••• •▬ ▬•▬• ▬•▬ #nerftemplatedsigs 15:34, 27 July 2012 (BST)
I'm referring to the "special event" you originally aprocahed 15A about then later the FOD. "Hackfest 2012"? Is that a better name? James Slimm 15:40, 27 July 2012 (BST)
You should read through that again. It's not a manhunt event. It was a PK event. --•▬ ▬••▬ • •••• •▬ ▬•▬• ▬•▬ #nerftemplatedsigs 15:45, 27 July 2012 (BST)
Meh, to be honest you weren't explicit in that the vicitms were to be non-participants. If it looks like a manhunt and smells like a manhunt, logically we concluded that it was a manhunt. Still doesn't remove suspision that you wanted to use url hacking for a leg up. Clearly, you had already used and acted on it in pretty recent past. James Slimm 16:13, 27 July 2012 (BST)
I have even specified in the invitation that it was a PK event, even using such rules that you wouldn't find in a manhunt event (such as the clause of being allowed to hide wherever you want. I never stated you had to hide in Gatcombeton. I only stated all PKs had to be made in Gatcombeton). And as such, with a PK event, how useful do you honestly think the Scent Trail thing would be if anyone is a viable target? So really, is it my fault that you lack the proper reading comprehension skills needed? If it was a manhunt event, why would I go through the trouble of asking all groups to post their kills on O13's forums when posting it on the wiki would be more ideal? If it was a manhunt event, there'd be an event page up for it. Why would I try to keep the event hush hush? Perhaps it was 'cause I was trying to keep BHer retaliation low? Have any of you ever thought of that? The point is, the invitation specifically stated "PK event" and not "Manhunt event". FoD actually had the best chance of winning the event even if they showed up late, 'cause FoD is the largest PKer group around. Both PK and Cobra have less then 10 members, and even then, since some folks of O13 have alts in one or both of those groups, their participating members count would have been even lower (and both those groups declined due to their low member count). Not to mention O13 originally planned to claim all its kills with a member that had zero combat skills. So, again. It is not my fault FoD has a much lower reading comprehension skill then I had originally expected. If you wanna try this again, I'll send out another invite whenever the next KH game is released. Whenever the hell that is. And I'll even write out the invitation in a way FoD can actually understand. --•▬ ▬••▬ • •••• •▬ ▬•▬• ▬•▬ #nerftemplatedsigs 16:37, 27 July 2012
You're dodging the issue here, Axey. You used a cheap method of knowing one of 15A's member's exact location after they killed you and then acted on it. Is that one of your 36 strategems? Did you get that from the Art of War? You then went on to ask us if we wanted to compete against you in an event. No thanks. Good luck in your future events Axe Hacker. James Slimm 17:02, 27 July 2012 (BST)
I'm dodging the issue? It's not a cheap trick, but it is a cheap trick. It can be argued both ways. Pro-survivors would claim it is cheap, while pro-zombies would claim it isn't. Here's how I see it: you're just jealous O13 actually thought of using a simple URL command to track people, something that you never thought of until Meeso's death. It's an information obtained via in-game, is it not? We used in-game information to locate you, and no outside sources. We used a zombie member as bait, and you took it. And as such, we obtained perfectly legal in-game information. --•▬ ▬••▬ • •••• •▬ ▬•▬• ▬•▬ #nerftemplatedsigs 17:33, 27 July 2012 (BST)
Oh man, you nailed it Axe. I'm smitten with jeaslousy that I didn't shamelessly exploit a bug that I had no idea existed until a week ago. BTW, Meeso intentionally trenched you at that RP because we suspected you were using that hack and I added the sprays to try to get you to admit it. You may consider yourself a master baiter, but I think we caught the bigger fish, here. James Slimm 20:59, 27 July 2012 (BST)
Har har har...I get it. --ШəəϨо ϨоЯЯλ 21:10, 27 July 2012 (BST)
Look. we can sit here arguing for days whether or not the usage of URL commands are considered fair play or not. But I'm not gonna argue this shit 'cause its silly. URL commands are 100% legal, in my opinion. You might not think so, but that's your opinion. --•▬ ▬••▬ • •••• •▬ ▬•▬• ▬•▬ #nerftemplatedsigs 22:14, 27 July 2012 (BST)
