:Sorry about that. I should have scouted the entire exterior and interior of the suburb. I went to the danger report page for Gibsonton to switch the danger status to "very dangerous", but I saw Grogh had correctly updated it already. I'll make sure that I either scout the entire exterior and interior of a suburb before updating its danger report, or that I make sure that another person's scouting report includes the entire exterior and interior of a suburb before I update its danger report. I'm sorry I took up some of your time in order for you to type up your response. On a side-note, all of the Urban Dead Greasemonkey scripts I use are from your wiki page, so thanks. ;) --[[User:Jesant13|Jesant13]] 21:59, 9 May 2010 (BST)

Danger Reports

Just as a heads up, it's generally not a great idea to update danger reports on rumors since they tend not to have all of the information. You should really rely on firsthand scouting or else direct scouting done by your group, as well as information posted around the wiki regarding large groups in the area, especially so if your report directly contradicts one that was made very recently. As it is, I've noticed that a few of your reports were iffy.

For instance, when you downgraded Gibsonton to "safe" from "very dangerous", did you check why it was set to "very dangerous" in the first place? If you check the previous update, which took place just one day before yours, you can see that Grogh, one of the MOB's leaders, updated the danger report. MOB has a horde of about 60-100 zombies at any given time (72 active, at this moment, according to the stats page), and they all move together. When a suburb has a 50+ zombie horde present, it's automatically "dangerous" or worse (check the definitions for the different statuses to see why), so there's no way Gibsonton should be considered "safe" or "moderately dangerous" while MOB is in a suburb. As for seeing zombies in the streets, which is what you mention your source said there weren't many of, MOB zombies sleep indoors in order to keep ruins ruined, so they don't linger around the streets too much. A casual visual inspection wouldn't give an accurate count of zombie presence.

Also, contrary to what your source said, at the time you updated the danger report, all but one of the hospitals was ruined, all of the NTs were ruined, all but one of the PDs were ruined, all but one of the auto repairs was ruined, etc. (MOB keeps updates for which buildings are ruined as they ruin them, and posts them to the wiki as a courtesy for everyone). Basically, the entire infrastructure for the suburb was in shambles, and the only buildings still up were the non-TRPs that don't matter.

I don't mean to hammer on you with this thing, but I just wanted to point out that it was definitely a mistake to have said the suburb was "safe" when one of the largest zombie hordes in the game was busy ruining the suburb, and would advocate being a bit more careful with the information you choose to trust in the future.
