Council of Leaders

Check this- getting off the grounds with our forums hosted on Brainstock for the time being. We need to do something, and it's a decent neutral common ground for us all to meet. If there's no objections by tomorrow, I'll post the details of our new forums. Cheers! --The Supreme Court 16:10, 16 September 2007 (BST)

EEMS

right now we could use a major influx of revivers, take the NW and use it as a staging ground for Moon Way 70, 53 RP, take over the Browne Building 71, 51 NT

good training ground is area around Denis General Hospital 71, 56 & Margaret General Hospital 70, 57, no large groups, buildings contested often enough to make them an active enough area for good exp gain

from there move into SE & central, etc

euphoriamercykill@hotmail.com to become in contact with EEMS squad midnight (GMT-7) msn tactics. regardkess i'll add you to edge email list when you do

On my way there

Johnny I have been informed that we can contact you for our little plan of retaking Blesley mall. I'm my way down to your location from the north to meet with you and other guys like the Colonel, Coolo and Stickman. I'm at Edcombe right now rechargin Ap, and I figure that will take me at least 30 hours to reach your location without been killed (I don´t like to be killed). I will pass by Blesley ( a few minutes of course) to see how's the sitution there. I'll be looking forward to meet you soon.zankuro

Need Revives?

Buckley is great. I was barely 3 steps in when I was revived. David Haze is also alive and well. If you need a revive or anyone else from US Army Infantry does, send me the location & coordinates and either myself or David Haze will come to lend a hand. Just make sure your group members know to stay put. If you are too far away for travel within 49 AP, you'll need to come closer to Buckley Mall in Wyke Hills --Stickman 14:34, 30 August 2006 (BST)

Gulsonside Rush

Yo! If you read Stickman discussion page, we are trying to coordinate an attempt to retake at least part of Gulsonside. Silent Running can send four or five experienced guys, we did an attempt to run the cementery RP after the Big Bash left but both our hideouts at Gulsonside and Crowbank were broken, so we turned around to go from the south. I suggested the 7th as the date to go. How many men could you send for this?

Also I'll try to set up a bridge area around Wykes Motel at NE East Grayside, so, if possible, people travelling from far away can rest there the 6th and enter Gulsonside with full strenght. It would be cool if we could send there a few scouts while we gather our forces. --Doc Groucho 16:49, 31 August 2006 (BST)

I have arrived at Blesley, and more from Combat Revive Eligible Society and the Blesley resistance are coming in behind me. Colonel al 3 Sept.

Allies?

Hello mr. Lunchpail I would like to become allies with you and the group along with stickman and colonal and sanshiro. I would like to help you on the forums coordinating but due some things i cannot get on and message. But send me coordinates or info on that is done since i registered and still no messaging. I am the most experienced of the group of them and have a group to back me up as well. Leave a messege at my talk page as did stickman.--Coolo B! 17:52, 31 August 2006 (BST)

Staging Area?

Hello Johnny, this is Sanshiro. I have heard about the plans to re-take Gulsonside and I wish to know if we are going to gather at one location before moving in. If so, let me know and I will make my way there. I highly recommend doing so as one of the key problems with the last attempt was that everyone had spent most of their AP just getting there. There were several safehouses in Scarletwood when I passed through 3 days ago; if we secured one and rested we could collectively establish a foothold in Gulsonside, such as Northcote FD (good location, within 3 steps of it is the mall, an NT, and the main revive point.) Right now I am resting at Buckley after finally reloading my most of my guns. As far as contributing goes, I can barricade and revive; in fact I have 9 syringes at ready. I side with Stickman in that we need to be coordinated, so let me know if there is any specific forum or page that is being used. Thanks for taking the lead, --Sanshiro 15:19, 1 September 2006 (BST)

Hi Johnny, this is Trigger Slipof The Sun Organization. I would like to expand on our alliance. We have been based out of Brooke Hills since our founding in March and have grown conciderably in number since then. Because of this we have decided to create another branch in Grigg Heights. We really chose the suburb because it looked like it didn't have a any strong survivor groups so we wouldn't step any many toes when we moved in. I saw that there was a boatload of your people in the south of the sector so I wanted to take this opportunity to reach out and secure an relationship with you and your troops. Our first goals will be to set up a reliable revive location in the southwest of Grigg's and then get power flowing to the resource buildings. I already set up gennies in all of the resource loacations in the south and many of the surrounding buildings. I'm waiting for the arrival of support to get them fueled and running. If you guys actually are based out of here I'd love to work with you to get a system of entry point buildings that works for both of our groups and if you already have a revive point that you are supporting I would like to boost those efforts instead of setting up another one. We have a strong tradition of working with our neighbors and have been really successful up in Brooke Hills. We are always taking the fight to the local zed groups so we'll let you know when we go on a raid into another burb so you guys can join in if you choose to. Things are only in the early stages so I'll have to get back to when we solidify our situation down here. Until then, take care and I look forward to hearing from you. --Trigger Slip 9:12, 22 November 2006 (CMT)

Hey Johnny, this is Duke Cage. Team Strike Force joined with Team Zombie Hardcore. We fought together with you guys at Marven Mall before the Tour came rolling in like jerks. I got a wire from our Online Command, Big Nixon that you are sending out a team to the Marven Mall Area. The Mall is currently secure but the area is still crawling a little. It'll be nice to have you guys around. Thanks for coming back. --Duke cage 21:15, 29 April 2007 (BST)

28.67 MHz

I can appreciate that you might not be over-enamoured at the prospect of having to share your chosen radio frequency with another group, but the fact of the matter is this: There is a limited range of frequencies available for radio use in Malton and all have been claimed for specific purposes or by other groups. If Elemental Radio were to be broadcast on another frequency, it is equally likely that the persons currently holding claim to that frequency would disagree with our usage of it, too. We aren't broadcasting any game related material, and are therefore unlikely to misinform or misdirect the members of your group using the frequency for tactical purposes; Blue Oyster Cult's Don't Fear the Reaper is unlikely to be confused with "72 zeds outside Blesley Mall". Aside from that, I, personally, have spent time, effort and AP on establishing our radio station on this frequency: Our adverts proclaim "Elemental Radio on 28.67 MHz", much of our artwork displays the frequency, and I have no intention of tearing down all my work and rewriting it because you don't want to share your frequency with a show which occasionally makes light entertainment broadcasts. If the shows really are so unbearable that you retch in horror when you read them, I believe there is a Firefox extension which blocks radio transmissions. Many of our shows are at a fixed time each week and all you need do is to switch the tool on at these times. Otherwise, you're welcome to request something for the show so that you get to hear something you want. I'm sorry, but Elemental Radio looks set to stay. Icefox2k 11:29, 12 September 2006 (BST)

Scartletwood, next?

16 Sept 2006 We have declared victory at Blesley Mall. Thanks to everybody involved (see Stickman's master list at the Blesley Mall discussion page). Just a few more things to do, like make sure that fuel, gens, and transmitters are in place, then I'll start thinking about Scartletwood. Probably the 1st thing on the agenda is to make sure Zacharias General Hospital (72,79) is back in operation -- the last time I was in Scarletwood, this Gulsonside hospital was full of zeds and weary survivors from the attempted Scarletwood/Greyside border defense. Any chance I can get a few of you to come with me? Colonel al

Need Help at Zacharias

28 Sept 2006 I am at Zacharias General Hospital (72,79) and am running into issues regarding the Creek NT Building to the NW. Those of us running the hospital have discovered that the zeds outside Creek are bots of some sort. Every time we close a door, it opens back up again and we get flooded with zeds. It has happened too many times for it to be a coincidence. I'm headed back to Blesley Mall to round up reinforcements and a transmitter. We could use some help. Colonel al

Battling the Scropion Group

As if Colonal Al hasn't messege you yet but I'm here to tell you that if you would accept an mission to rid the city of the scropian group. They are a foul and udder disgrace to us and attacked Gulsonside before and made their impression. We are now needing to destroy or disband them or the individual who runs it. Fisticuffs, you say?

Interesting proposal - a RT battle with the glorious US Army Infantry. Let me see what my team would like to do. Currently we have our obligations with the RRF Excursion II, and I know you guys have left the South Blythville area to take care of business elsewhere, but this sounds like something fun to do in the near future. --Goolina Gore Corps 20:00, 19 February 2007 (UTC)

We are working one out now with another zed group if you have done one before Goolina we could use some advice. we are thinkign 3 to 1 zed to humans odds is that fair? --Johnny Lunchpail 02:50, 20 February 2007 (UTC)

Never have done anything like that. You'd want my team to go solely zambah for this? Let me know how the current one works out, and we'll see what we need to do on our end. Too bad you don't want a dance off. We're pretty suave on the dance floor. Just ask anyone in Quartly Library. --Goolina Gore Corps 22:26, 20 February 2007 (UTC)

No dice on the dance off, we wear combat boots it's hard enough to get us to just march in time and you want us dancin!?!? --Johnny Lunchpail 14:08, 21 February 2007 (UTC)

Question Regarding Radio Freq Use

Do you still use the 28.72 if so may I use it to recieve incoming radio transmissions for my Military Survivor Character Marcus Cardew. If you no longer hold claim to that frequency could you point me in the direction of who does(or whoever you last heard of holding it). Also would it be alright to transmit encoded messages to people over that frequency or would recieving be the limit for me(this is assumming your answer was yes to the first and second questions)?
Thank you beforehand - Sephikus 00:52, 8 June 2007 (BST)

I can't stop you it's a free world; however, there are several frequencies that are associated with groups that no longer are active and who's wiki pages have been deleted such as: 27.38 MHz, 27.84 MHz, 28.32 MHz and 28.47 MHz. Not too mention if you go lookup Category talk:Historical Groups you will find many more frequencies that are not used but don't show as open such as 27.40 MHz (lime brigade). We use it in game only in emergencies since the encumbrance rules changes made carying radios much harder now, only 1 Comms technician carries a mobile Comms setup per platoon and the unit command element.
Yeah I just wanted to make sure I wouldnt be interfering with your communications by listing that as a hailing frequency for my character and oddly enough i had listed 28.47 as my alternate hailing frequency. Oh and next time please reply in my talk page cause i hadnt noticed your reply until i saw the header at the top of my page --Sephikus T 04:06, 9 June 2007 (BST)

Requesting Aide

Reports have been confirmed that the LUE and Killer Zombie Tomatos are most likely headed towards Dowdney Mall for their own little mall tour. Tynte Mall fell in just under a day. Giddings Mall fell fast yesterday. It took them 16 minutes to breach. 22 hours before every survivor was killed. Afew days Hildebrand Mall fell again in less than one day. The forces these guys have put together are massive and deadly. Tynte defenders were shocked by the quickness and organized assaults set up by this force. I ask all of you to join us in defending the mall. If Dowdney falls they will likely head to Treweeke. Thanks for any support. This has the makings to go down as one of the great fights. A an old ally needs a favour

I come to you as an ex-leader of the Malton Rangers and as a representitive of the CMS, i have had less dealings with you than my pre-decessor DickHole Guy. We have fought together several times and in several locations. The support of your group would be greatly appreciated in the anticipated upcoming defense of Caiger Mall from LUE and its allies. As you are the leader of a major group there is oppurtunity for you to participate fully in the planning process leading up to and during the defense if you do so wish. --al duck

Invisionplus DNS problems

Hi there. Recruit Aidan Swart here, recently joined up. I've been having trouble with DNS lookup of www.invisionplus.net since the start of the weekend. I had previously been able to get in by ssh'ing into a remote server that had a different DNS server, but now that server has lost the record for the domain, too. I can get through to the backup forum fine, but I don't think anyone's paying too much attention to it. I don't think this problem is isolated, either, since on the backup forum message board there's a the post "Jack Goodaxe: Trying to volunteer for the USAI, here. The links on the UD wiki don't work. Little help?". Is anyone else having this trouble? Could you send me alternate contact details for my DI, Sergeant Jake? (You can send me an email via the Wiki.) Anyway, I think maybe you need to have a chat to invisionplus about their DNS setup. -AidanS 12:11, 21 August 2007 (BST)

the dead of Dunell Hills (or now The Dead)

Hello, it's Director Alexseev from Lejnair. I've several things I'd like to tell you.

First, this group is going to move east once they go through the corner. It's possible they have an agreement with the RRF as the RRF is cutting off the south area from the east area.
Second, this zombie hordes goal isn't to play the game, its to destroy it. They hope to make such an imbalence so that nobody will play. Posted on their forum:
"Just remember that every day you spend five minutes mashing that attack button is another day closer to our goal: a zombie horde capable of crushing these whining bitch pubbies and ruining their circlejerk."
Third, I have reviewed info on this mega-horde that is forming. First, they have a technique called 'kittenpiling' in which massive amounts of newie zombies gather at one point. There are two current kittenpiles named the East Coast Kittenpile and the West Coast Kittenpile. The one location that I know of where one is is at South Blythville. A few zombies then switch their group name to either nothing or a pro-survivor group. Then these guys get a revive and grab a flak jacket. Then they go into one of these 'kittenpiles' which tear them to pieces while granting others EXP. You can find out about their tactics here: http://forums.somethingawful.com/showthread.php?threadid=2779558&userid=0&perpage=40&pagenumber=40.
Fourth, apparently the survivors that are in UD are called 'pubbies'.
Fifth, these guys apparently use alts just to find a good place to start off in. "hoof it to a red suburb or just start making new alts until you get a nice starting place" was posted by andrew smash on their forum.
Sixth, here is a zerging confession: "I have two other characters, and each of them are at the Went Building." by Minimaul as found here: http://forums.somethingawful.com/showthread.php?threadid=2779558&userid=0&perpage=40&pagenumber=39.
Seventh, They are creating many lab assistants to gain easy EXP.
Eighth, they like to change their group names in order to get a revive. Check the supposed group's roster in order to find out if they are part of it. Since this takes much time though, I'd suggest that you just not revive any unknown, low level survivor.
Ninth, this is their New Zombies Plan and their Experienced Zombie Plans:
"Disco De Soto posted:"
ATTENTION NOOBS
"It's not too late to join in. Just follow this advice: KEEP CREATING A NEW ZOMBIE UNTIL YOU SPAWN CLOSE TO ONE OF THE KITTENPILES. That way you won't have to spend 3 days travelling and being bored. When you get to the pile, bite and don't stop biting til you are out of AP. Log in tomorrow, start biting again."
"ATTENTION HIGH-LEVEL ZOMBIES"
You don't need to kittenpile, obviously, since you already have all the useful zombie skills. So here's a plan from Zombie High Command to help out the newbies.
Go to the wiki and click on the neighbouring suburbs to where you are to find a revive point. For example, there is one at a cemetery (17, 75) in Wykewood, south of the Millington Towers kittenpile.
Stand there (so long as you don't have Brain Rot) and wait for a pubbie to bring you back to life. Then wait until you have enough AP and go stand in the middle of the kittenpile.
This accomplishes two things: it wastes the supply of pubbie syringes and it gives our new zombies some human flesh to work on.
IMPORTANT NOTE: if you have a "the dead of Dunell Hills" tag, you will probably be shot rather than revived. Go into your profile settings and either blank the tag or use some simpering pro-survivor pubbie group. You may also want to change your zombie description to something along the lines of "Sick of being dead, wants a revive!"
Tenth, these guys justify their actions by saying that the survivors are now mildly inconvineced and that's why were whining about them. Let's not forget that they are really out to destroy the game as evident in a number of their posts and even their public forum name: Come kill the living and destroy their city with us in Urban Dead! Let's fight back make sure that there is always Malton!--MikhailA 22:50, 27 February 2008 (UTC)
