Here you will find all messages from Kripcat's discussion page after a clean, this was done because the discussion page was beginning to become cluttered, but I still wanted people who may have a vague interest in these messages to be able to view them. Plus it makes me feel important. :)

firemanstan

Hey - Good to see you getting involved on the suggestion page! (it's me, firemanstan - I use Blahblahblah to vote and suggest, to not get people pissed off at F.R.E.E.Z.E. if they don't like what I might have to say about their suggestion ;) ) --Blahblahblah 03:14, 18 February 2006 (GMT)

THAT POSTER IS SOOOO FUNNY! lol! i love it, good work. --Firemanstan 16:04, 11 Feb 2006 (GMT)

  • eh - I wouldn't sweat it. I just did it because I am listed as the group liaison as firemanstan. And I can be a bit harsh sometimes (I try to be kind and helpful, but you can only put up with some of the people heres constant barrage of stupidity for so long before you get sick of them - know what I mean? :P). A lot of people have their groups and even their character bios in their user description - I even have firemanstan in Blahblahblah's user page - I just wanted to make sure people know I play both sides of the game and am not out to screw over one side or the other with my suggestions or votes. --Blahblahblah 03:26, 18 February 2006 (GMT)

oh - p.s. - i've got a guideline addition being voted on here. If you are interested in some history behind it - it's on the same page, just a little bit above it.

hey - we're trying to fix flares (im sure you've noticed :)). if you have some ideas to make it work, drop em on my discussion page. the biggest problem i'm having now is getting a reasonalbe "roll play" translation for how you can change the colors. (and any other ideas you might have, too). --Blahblahblah 14:52, 20 February 2006 (GMT)

  • Oh, and P.S. - the angle fired at would be for group communication. The reason nobody responds to flares now is because you don't know who's firing them or for what reason. All flares are good for at the moment is a really bad % attack, and shooting them up in celebration of holidays. The rest is spam everyone ignores. For the color, for obvious reasons - for angle fired is for a signature of sorts. For example: F.R.E.E.Z.E. sets their team signature at 54% - now all our members know if a flare is fired at that degree, it is most likely coming from one of our men. A flare at 42% might be an ally, etc. Some other people have mentioned not caring for the degree part of it - do you have a specific reason why you don't care for it (or a reason others might not dig it)? --Blahblahblah 20:36, 20 February 2006 (GMT)

Liaisonship

I was wondering if you'd be interested in taking over the mantle for F.R.E.E.Z.E.? I'm not thinking of quitting the team at all, just of stepping down as the team's liaison (my wife is feeling neglected :) I spend too much time on this game, and need to curb it back a little). I was thinking, since you picked up on the Wiki already, and you do so well with the group page - that you would be a good replacement for me. Interested? --Blahblahblah 21:47, 20 February 2006 (GMT)

  • Oh, I wasn't implying you should have voted keep on the suggestion. Just because you are familiar with me, doesn't mean you have to like my ideas :) - I was just explaining why the trajectory part was included in it. As for the liaison transfer - none of the original or first wave members are active on the wiki - and a large part of liaison is to upkeep and do the storytelling on our group page (which you have done such a good job with). The guy who started the group with me (the one who still plays the game) isn't interested. The ones who joined before you don't care for the "responsibility" - and/or haven't shown that they would put for the time and energy (and take the initiative that you have done). It is between you and Dick the Tech (as he has done much in the way of the group as well) - but aside from the fact that you joined before he did, he is a little more impulsive - and I am leery to pass the mantle of liaison (which requires some degree of diplomacy and tactfulness) to someone so passionate (just fearing our diplomatic relations heading the way of the IWM). Mostly it is because you have shown so much effort for our group on the Wiki. That is impressive to me, and if I pass it to anyone, you are my first choice. I suppose I should take a second to list what the liaison mantle entails. *Communicating with, and acquiring allies (oft times visiting their forums - I don't do that every day, but I stop in on their boards every so often to touch base). *Being the contact for new members. Giving them instructions on how to find us if they are far away - some basic game tips if they say they are new to the game - and our forum access (actually Dick the Tech is in charge of the approval once they register, but liaison gives the address and tells them to sign up) once you are satisfied with their legitimacy (I have only denied one person membership, but it was because his character was a consumer and was listed on his bio as starting the game in September, but he had 0 XP and was level 1... it didn't sit well with me - 4 months of play and no experience or skills to show for it -, and as he applied around the same time we were dealing with the Death Cultists in Dakerstown - I turned him down). *Upkeeping and storytelling on the wiki group page. *That, and help survivors whenever possible - keep F.R.E.E.Z.E. for good, and keep it friendly to low level characters starting/learning the game. I still plan on playing the game and staying in F.R.E.E.Z.E. (I could never leave my baby) - I just want to step back a little from public relations part of it. --Blahblahblah 15:30, 22 February 2006 (GMT)
    • You can go ahead and change to contact information to you on the group page - and list yourself as F.R.E.E.Z.E.'s liaison. I'll message the allied leaders on the forums I represent F.R.E.E.Z.E. on, and let them know you'll be taking my place there. I'll send you information on where the forums are, and who's forum is who. I'll write something clever soon on the group page about firemanstan stepping back. --Blahblahblah 15:04, 23 February 2006 (GMT)

Dick the Tech

I understand that i am impulsive and am working on it, and I believe that Kripcat was more deserving being the higher brother in the group, but I think that the wiki should be updated in the Roywood Adeventure, so that allies and the grouup knows that the postion was changed.--DicktheTech 16:04, 24 February 2006 (GMT)

I.U.S.S

As a young and dashing university graduate, a job offer at NecroTech seemed like a godsend, and for several years, all that I saw was endless excitement, new technological frontiers and, of course, an enormous paycheck to support my petty needs for consumerist junk.

But after the outbreak, things changed. I begun to see the wrongs of my ways. After weeks of running around aimlessly in the city, not knowing who to trust or what to do, it wasn't until last night that I finally saw the light. For it was right then as I was seeking shelter at Codman Alley Railway Station in East Boundwood that a fine young man named "Cold as Ice" stepped in and started handing out pamphlets about the I.U.S.S.

The more I read, the more repulsed I became when reminiscing my prior willingness to cooperate without doubt with the capitalist society, doing whatever I was told to do to blindly help bring upon this menace that has now befallen us. And so, it is from this very organisation that I now seek forgiveness and a chance for redemption, as the knowledge I have acquired from my years of working at NecroTech will sure come in handy in the process of undoing the harm that's already been done.

It is therefore only right that I seek membership in your noble group, and await for further information about fellow members and your current activities.

Sincerely yours,
Comrade Justas,
Level 7 Scientist

Excuse Me, But...

  1. When archiving stuff, you really should copy all of it to the archive.
  2. You don't have a link to your archive. (I only found it by going through the history.) Since it contains information about how some alliances were formed, and miscellaneous historical tidbits, shouldn't you link it?
  3. Talk pages are usually used for discussion. It's kinda wierding me out that you have character information here. If you don't want to move it, could you add a divider or something so that people leaving messages know where to leave them?

I.U.S.S

This is Comarade Flickface level 22 Civilian wishing to join in the ranks of the I.U.S.S.

Your little flag

I'd like you to consider removing it from your signature. At it's current size it is barely discernable what it is. If it was large enough to be recognisable, it would seriously tick some people off. You have a link to the I.U.S.S in your signature anyway. –Xoid STFU! 11:14, 22 May 2006 (BST)

I'm no moderator, not yet anyway, and couldn't force you to do anything even if I was. (Besides what moderators can do. It's quite limited actually) At it's present size it's fine. The problem is, I couldn't even tell what it was it was so small. Until I mouse-overed it and put I.U.S.S + I.U.S.S together, it didn't make any sense. You could try removing the tags from it, and making it link to the I.U.S.S's page. Since it would actually reach the point where you can tell what it is, and not just some red/green mess with a sort of yellow blob in the centre, it might grab people's attention better as well.

PS: I feel pitiful. four edits in less than a minute for a stupid batch of typos I should've caught on the first. –Xoid STFU! 11:22, 22 May 2006 (BST)

Deletions votes

You need to clarify your votes on the Deletions page by prefixing them with one of the vote types outlined on that page (e.g., Keep or Delete). --Bob Hammero ASSU! 08:46, 23 May 2006 (BST)

Lexicon

You mentioned you'd like a spot on the Lexicon--well, some have opened up. Just letting you know.--'STER-Talk-Mod 19:28, 24 May 2006 (BST)

Hello, just to ask you would it be okay to join the I.U.S.S. Currently I am running Radio Revolution but would be more than happy to join. -HighlandZHunter

Interesting, so what is your group up to recently? I might transmit a few messages here and there on your radio chanel, but I don't trust the 'public' frequencies, open to too much spam. Well if you run in trouble, with zombies or something, and need to transmit a message, I'm operation a 'private' transmiter in safe lands with little by-standers, and they are friendly enough. Always ready to help fellow socialists -Certified=Insane 01:07, 8 June 2006 (BST)

You asked me about what radio, well it would be Radio Revolution. -Certified=InsaneUG
