Suggestion Comment Comments

  • haha "borrow my dolls" indeed--Spellbinder 18:33, 7 Nov 2005 (GMT)

the suggestor revised his idea thanks to a suggestion of mine. I think I will just change my vote and put the reason in a 'Re' --Andrew McM 19:48, 26 Nov 2005 (GMT)

Survivor ranged weapons aren't quite the same as melee weapons because the survivor has to spend AP ahead of time gathering ammo. The increased damage and accuracy compensate for the need to spend one 25-AP cycle gathering ammo in order to use firearms in the next 25-AP cycle. --VoidDragon 20:43, 15 Dec 2005 (GMT)

Group Talk Pages

Now listen, damnit, if you have a suggestion about how we run our wiki pages, then mail it to us. Don't spray it out in public, especially if you aren't even part of the gruop the page is for. OK? What you said wasn't wrong, just horribly rude. --MaulMachine 20:01, 20 Nov 2005 (EST)

My suggestion was not to you, MaulMachine, nor was it related to your group. My suggestion was not how you run your wiki page, it was to how you organize the talk page for your group (which is not "your" talk page. Wiki is dedicated to the ideal of free exchange of information. My suggestions were not only for your benefit, and had they been solely for your benefit, I might have placed in on your user talk page. No, my suggestion was the talk page's benefit (and indeed, for the benefit of anyone wandering through the talk page), and as such, was placed on the talk page. Any further suggestions I may have will also similarly be placed on the talk page.
As for being rude, my suggestion was most certainly not intended to be rude. Reading once again through my original message, I don't get the impression that it was rude, though perhaps that's just because I wrote it. If that's what you got from it, my apologies, it certainly wasn't intended in that context. What was rude, was the entirely uncalled for deletion of my suggestion, left on a public talk page, for the sole reason (so far as I can tell) that certain users didn't like having anything critiqued, whether constructively (or rightly) or not. --Lucero Capell 02:54, 21 Nov 2005 (GMT)

Forum Orderings

Ludwig might try to edit you removing that. They want (Real) or (Orginal) in your Orginal CoL edit. Just a heads up. I guess they are pouting or some such nonsense.--Axe-man 16:53, 28 Nov 2005 (GMT)

I just noticed it wasn't Ludwig who put it there in the first place (it was some DARIS person, which leads me to believe they might not have the old CoL's best interests in mind), and decided it was probably safer to take it out. If one of the CoL members puts it back in, it's fine by me, just trying to keep the peace... or something. --Lucero Capell 18:14, 28 Nov 2005 (GMT)

Axes High Advertizement Thingies

Weeeee! I thought I would invade your talk page. Anyhow, thanks for changing the timestamp and explaining the Axes High Recruiting AD issue. Haha. I was confused and hungry and lost. :P --Jacquie 23:36, 11 April 2006 (BST)

re: Haha yeah, I think I slapped my head and went, "DUH!" haha. Thanks for the cookie. WEEE! :) --Jacquie 01:28, 12 April 2006 (BST)

Defeat! (aka "Amazing makes a funny!)

Ever stop to wonder why you think anyone cares about "defeating" you? If you want to call "moving on to better things than arguing with someone you have no interest in via the internet" defeat, then consider yourself the champion. -- Amazing 03:59, 24 February 2006 (GMT)

Hahahaha! Either do your own research or piss off, nobody. -- Amazing 17:44, 24 February 2006 (GMT)

Policy Discussion

NPOV

If its archived with the purpose of suppressing information, its tantamount to deleting it. This is my understanding. Talk page archiving and front page archiving are not the same. --Zaruthustra-Mod 02:09, 2 March 2006 (GMT)

Re: Talk Page Policies

My belief is that for the most part, User and User talk pages are the property of the User and the User alone - the User has authority to wipe talk pages, place whatever they wish on their user pages (or on their sub-pages), etc. With that said, there are certain things that we will step in to take action on, such as fairly clear attacking of other users on the attacker's User page. Also, I believe that the Impersonation clause applies to User talk pages as well (but that you'll need to register a complaint for us to do anything about it).

Hope that helps. Like much policy here, it's very interpretable, but those should cover the generalities of the policy. -- Odd Starter talk | Mod | W! 04:24, 23 February 2006 (GMT)

That counters past rulings, so it's pretty much talk that isn't supported by action. -- Amazing 18:57, 23 February 2006 (GMT)
I am neither cherry-picking nor being dishonest. Unless asking a moderator and responding to (as of yet unsubstantiated) claims about "prior rulings" is being dishonest. So, since you haven't responded by giving examples of either a) wiki policy or any prior moderations about this, I'll start. First piece of evidence is Odd Starter's response given on my talk page, which you contest (again with unsubstantiated claims of prior rulings). Second piece of evidence: Kevan clears his talk page (including ongoing discussions). Third piece of evidence: LibrarianBrent tells Katthew that she is free to clean up her page whenever she wants, including clearing what someone says. Four piece of evidence: SA-TA-EK-Rumisiel mentions that the fact that it has been established that users have the right to clear their own talk pages. Response? --Lucero Capell 22:07, 23 February 2006 (GMT)
My responce: I don't have to prove shit to you. I myself reported someone for clearing their own Talk page, and that person was ruled against. It's that simple. Talk all you want, quote all you want, but that's just talk and quotes. I have action behind what I believe. -- Amazing 01:40, 24 February 2006 (GMT)
Oh, oh wait a minute! You're taking one incident (which you still have not linked to, by the way) and saying that one incident overrules at least four instances I have found where four separate moderators of the wiki have either stated that clearing of user talk pages is acceptable or cleared their own talk pages? Sounds like someone's cherry-picking to me... --Lucero Capell 03:32, 24 February 2006 (GMT)
I was taking personal experience and showing you were not taking the facts that you didn't like into account. You're still using talk against Mod Ruling action, too. Nice try, tho. -- Amazing 03:35, 24 February 2006 (GMT)
Asking again, link? --Lucero Capell 03:37, 24 February 2006 (GMT)
When did you ask for a link? I must've missed it if it even happened. Dig through the Moderation/Vandalism history. I'm not searching for the link FOR you, find it yourself - Because really you don't matter enough to me, and I'd appreciate it if you did your own research instead of screaming "PROVE IT PROVE IT" as if anyone owes it to you. Look up the history pertaining to MaulMachine. -- Amazing 03:50, 24 February 2006 (GMT)

Amazing Hates NPOV

Nope. Do that again, and you'll be reported for vandalism. Saying something is NPOV when it isn't won't help your case. -- Amazing 22:21, 28 February 2006 (GMT)

Posting POV in an NPOV area is in bad form. I edited it by removing all text. I'm giving you a final warning because I'm a nice guy, then you're up for vandalism. -- Amazing 22:25, 28 February 2006 (GMT)

Maybe I'll add "People don't like some things about people in this group's large roster." - Tell you what, why don't I add an NPOV section to your user page stating what 'some people' think of you? -- Amazing 22:40, 28 February 2006 (GMT)

Zod's response

Lucero, I am not going to endlessly debate you like Amazing does. I will tell you, being in a leadership positiion in CDF, we will deal with the accusations of zerging. We will respond on our own timetable and will settle our own matters. I have NO interest in arguing the point with you or anyone else. Let us handle this since you brought it to our attention. I play this game for a fun, hour-long diversion from my very political workday. Trading barbs with someone such as yourself seems pointless and detracts from game play. This is what differs from me and Amazing. However, I am proud of the things our little group has accomplished, so I take offense at someone lashing out for the sake of doing it. I am a professional in real life and not a gamer, in fact, this is the only online game I play. Please take your 'bait' somewhere else. We have acknowledged your accusations and are responding to it. Anything more that you post on our wiki about the matter just shows your negative intent and makes it seem like your complaint is suspect. There are alot of zergers on Urban Dead, which I don't condone. Don't pick on us because of a grudge. --Zod Rhombus 17:34, 1 March 2006 (GMT)

Amazing Whines

Guilty until proven innocent - That's your motto concerning CDF members eh? Well look here and check for "MaulMachine" every time it comes up. Maul is a co-leader of a survivor group. When confronted with this, he claimed he was simply "Role playing" a Mall Tour zombie. Using Survivor status to gain info and forwarding it to the Mall Tour - as you can see in his comments on the best methods to attack - is Spying.

One link is enough to shut you up. I can't link you to people who have said "Fuck you all, I'll just come back as a zombie! hahaha Zombie Jesus forever!!" before being killed for spying.

Now get over yourself and if you edit that again you'll ensure the Mods are bothered yet again with an annoying report. -- Amazing 01:20, 3 March 2006 (GMT)

Speedy Deletions

Just to note that speedy deletions don't require any delete votes (opposed to normal deletions that do require them). Of course it doesn't hurt to vote, it's just not necessary :) --Brizth W! 23:50, 8 April 2006 (BST)

Arbitration

[Amazing] has asked for an arbitration regarding you and him, concerning the editing of the [Crossman Defence Force]wiki page. I would like your side of the issue as to why you have edited that page so often and what is going on in your point of view.

Ah ok. --ramby T--W! - SGP 03:16, 5 March 2006 (GMT)

Deletions

GANKBUS/old - Deletion Policy (aka "Amazing makes a non-sequitur")

You really don't want to be a mod, do you? The deletion page specifically requests that the information be left on the page so people can properly judge whether it should be deleted. Not that hard to understand. --Lucero Capell 06:24, 2 April 2006 (BST)

Speaking of not reading - why don't you check the history and see that the page was blanked a long time ago by me, the page's creator, because it had absolutely no use.
I was leaving the page as it was before the "revert" from tonight. -- Amazing 06:26, 2 April 2006 (BST)
Who created the page is irrelevant at this point. Plus, I'm not sure less than 24 hours qualifies as "a long time ago". You blanked the page, Amazing. The point of a deletion request is to allow the wiki community to judge the page on its merits. When you blank the page, you inherently invalidate any of those merits. It is not fair to allow someone to blank the page. Please, it's not going to hurt you to leave the redirect, at least until the deletion request is fulfilled. Stop playing around and disrespecting wiki rules. --Lucero Capell 06:35, 2 April 2006 (BST)
All you're doing now is spewing irrelevant bullshiz.
I created the page. A SHORT time later I blanked it because the same exact page was available elsewhere.
You're just an emperor without clothes on this one. -- Amazing 06:37, 2 April 2006 (BST)

No Amazing for Moderator

What votes do you speak of? -- Amazing 22:48, 3 April 2006 (BST)

I see what you mean. That vote has far from concluded. Do not move it again. -- Amazing 22:49, 3 April 2006 (BST)

Regardless of where else the information exists, deleting active discussions on a public talk page is vandalism. I know you don't like it, but that's how it goes. --Lucero Capell 23:03, 3 April 2006 (BST)
Heh! I actually laughed at that. There was no active discussion beyond what was copied - IN FULL - from the original page. Sorry, no go. Plus the voting is still in progress, so you really have no leg to stand on. Had there been anything ADDED by someone else, then you'd have a case for me deleting that one person's comment. It's a photocopy of an existing page being voted on for deletion, and you KNOW that was just a work-around so I'd have to make a second report and waste my time. Grief is all these people are about. -- Amazing 23:11, 3 April 2006 (BST)

"Moderator" Action

Hi there. Your image for the "No Amazing as a Moderator" template has been removed, since you are not the copyright holder. Please check the info when you upload, it says image copyright must not belong to someone else. I put in a note that we Mods should get on this more often. It's always bothered me to see all the copyrighted material uploaded to this Wiki.

If you want, you can use an unedited (except for cropping) photograph of me. You have my permission for that. -- Amazing ModSGPUDPDMcZed's™ 23:41, 7 April 2006 (BST)

Actually, Amazing, the actual text reads: "You must also check the box affirming that you are not violating any copyrights by uploading the file," nothing referencing being owner of the copyright. You uploaded the image yourself, certifying that it was without copyrights. If it is indeed copyrighted, you must remove the original image as well. As soon as it enters the wiki, it is considered fair use. --Lucero Capell 00:02, 8 April 2006 (BST)
You're incorrect on all counts. Uploading the image does not remove any copyright at all. I encourage you to look this info up on the web, as I'm sure it's readily available. A copyright violation was committed when you edited and uploaded copyrighted work without the permission of the creator. -- Amazing ModSGPUDPDMcZed's™ 00:06, 8 April 2006 (BST)
Feel free to use any of my work I've uploaded to the Wiki without editing it. That wouldn't be a violation. -- Amazing ModSGPUDPDMcZed's™ 00:22, 8 April 2006 (BST)

Yeah Lucero, my art sucks. Jeolous much? OH BURN, YOU WANT MY MAD SKILLZ. </mockery> And yeah, please make Rasher spit out as much ice cream as possible. The fat fuck can only be helped. -- Amazing 18:55, 16 April 2006 (BST)

No, I didn't say your art sucks. In fact, to the contrary, as far as pixel art goes, it's fairly good. I just said it was funny. As for Rasher, well, any way it can help. It'd be pretty nifty if I can label and sell it as a diet plan. You could even make the logo! --Lucero Capell 00:00, 17 April 2006 (BST)

Wait. You never have received a warning before ? Hummm. I have to think a little about that resolution of mine. Perhaps i will change it to a two-times-warnings instead of a 24h ban. --People's Commissar Hagnat [cloned] [mod] 02:18, 25 April 2006 (BST)
What are you talking about? We've never been warned, we've never been banned, and we removed you from the case. Care to explain? --Tehasskickars 04:14, 25 April 2006 (BST)

Proposal

As per the conversation on the talk page of the petition to ban the user Amazing, said user has agreed to cease and desist all trolling, baiting and flaming actions provided that the exact same standards be applied to but not limited those he has taken arbitration cases against concerning his person. I have agreed to examine and report all such incidents that would apply to the above and submit them to two unbiased mods for their approval on the pain of banishment if any involved party find me flagrantly abusing such a position towards a bias of any concerned party. The abuse would be determined by aformentioned mods or a predominance of the evidence. I ask for the approval and the enforcement of the agreement should all concerned parties agree to the terms. --Prosperina 05:55 23 April 2006 (BST)

Thwart'd f'reals, yo. Sorry you couldn't abide by the resolution you agreed to. -- Amazing 01:20, 25 April 2006 (BST)

You already broke it with your "suck on this" comment. Sowwy. --Lucero Capell 01:23, 25 April 2006 (BST)
Wrong, you broke it with your first revert, liar. And do not upload images of me that are not made available by me. -- Amazing 01:25, 25 April 2006 (BST)

Listen you FUCKING IDIOT. Knock it off immediately. This is complete bullshit and you know it. I offered you an olive branch and you've SHAT ON IT. Your Arbitration case is re-opened since you COMPLETELY VIOLATED THE AGREEMENT. -- Amazing 01:30, 25 April 2006 (BST) Go to Hell you idiotic pissant. You know full well that you accepted my deal with no intention of honoring it. You took the first chance you saw to continue your DIPSHIT TROLLING ways. I hope you feel really fucking happy you amoral peice of shit. -- Amazing 01:38, 25 April 2006 (BST)

Arbitration

To aviod as much trouble as possible I ask you to aprove of me as your abitrator for your current arbitration case, should the need arise.--Vista W! 22:06, 26 April 2006 (BST)

With hagnat refused as an arbiter (and I was afraid of that as he never was ruled out beforehand and never officially accepted) As I reviewed it I could step in and rule immediatly. Conndrakka would also be able to if he has your preverence.--Vista W! 09:17, 27 April 2006 (BST)
