We are still active in Dakerstown

A request was posted on your group's talk page that you confirm your activity. That same request was also posted on hundreds of other groups' talk pages at the same time as part of a semi-annual project to clean up the group listings for each suburb. Maverick was responsible for your suburb's groups, but there are only about a half dozen of us handling the project, and we don't have the resources to track down every single group listed in every single suburb, especially since the vast majority of the ones we remove are legitimately gone and no longer active.

Maverick didn't remove your group mistakenly or because you're a small group and he couldn't find you in-game. He removed FUACK, just as he removed dozens of other groups across the city, because they failed to respond to the request that they confirm their activity. In the future, if you'd like to avoid this, the only way to do so is to check your group's talk page at least once every two weeks. The next time this project comes around, there's no guarantee that Maverick will be the one checking your suburb anyway, so that's the only way to be sure. —Aichon— 04:00, 15 February 2010 (UTC)

The next time we do the cleanup probably won't be until next year anyway, so you'll be fine for a good long while. Worst case scenario is that you get removed again and just have to re-add yourselves, which only takes a minute or two, thankfully. Anyway, sorry for the mix-up on our end as well. 10mfh are still active in Molebank. Thanks for taking on the cleanup effort, Lord knows its needed from time to time and there aren't many willing to put the time.

Just a suggestion though, if a group has a forum listed it would be particularly polite to follow through to it and see if there's any activity there, or maybe even drop by and say hello (as for us, we love to welcome guests and there's always a good cup of tea waiting) before signing the death certificate. The 10mfh forum is VERY active and the two or three clicks it would have taken to verify that would have been a lot less effort than the changes you implemented took you to do and certainly for us in reverting them back. To follow up on what Yonnua said (and to reference Aichon a little further up my page), it's the same policy for every group listed in every suburb. We realize that not every group checks the wiki that often, even if they are very active in-game or on their forums. That's why we give two weeks to respond and confirm activity. With all the groups that need to be verified, looking for them off the wiki just creates much more hassle and involves a lot more time than it is worth. But the nice thing is that in situations like yours, it's a very easy fix to simply add your group back to whichever suburbs you were removed from. --Maverick ^{Talk - OBR 404} 22:03, 20 February 2010 (UTC)

I wasn't sure, although I figured a mention somewhere about Abigale's Flower Shop or something flavourful to compliment the name of the district. The RADIO header is just something I borrowed from Mornington's page, and I figured we could add in any other notable frequencies (if any). As far as the TRP list, I've already decided to remove that entirely, I just haven't settled on what to replace it with just yet. Perhaps something akin to the "Key Buildings" bit that is normally in the suburb sidebars as Aichon suggested. No idea yet. group page formating and styles

I borrowed most of the OBR's from the Burchell Arms Regulars, with some changes to suit my liking. I would also look to the Help page in the sidebar for generic coding help. For Tollyton I would start with the NT and then work north to the hospitals and libraries. You also have to remember that you're right by RRF stomping grounds, so things aren't likely to ever be very safe over there. --Maverick ^{Talk - OBR 404} 20:47, 21 April 2010 (BST)

Nope, I have not done any work on Earletown's barricade plan. I have simply upgraded it to the new template. If you want to make changes to the plan, I would advise using the Earletown Barricade Plan talk page and give some time for other survivors in the area to pitch in information. policy discussion

DDR made a mistake when writing the policy - he included Template:Inactive (which is a template for inactive sysops,) instead of Template:InactiveGroup (which is a template for inactive groups.) To keep within the rules, if/when he changes the link, he'll need permission of all voters. So I decided I would seek that now.

What I really want is a way to extract the groups from the suburb group templates, and inject it into a template for the groups of the whole district. But for now, I think the priority is convincing the minimaps that warehouses and junkyards are actually buildings. --VVV ^RPGMBCWS 22:01, 22 July 2010 (BST)

I'll look into it but there's probably a way of just setting up a table with fields for each suburb in the district, and templating the group listings into it, albeit smaller. For instance, if you look at {{Millen Hills Groups}} you'll see there's no actual limit to the size of the template, it's just forced smaller by the table it's on on the surburb page - similar to how {{RDDsidenav}} is not contrained width-wise, but on the pages it's included on (such as this or this), it's forced into the size of the cell it's in. By building a nice-looking table you could have smaller versions of the group listing templates in those, using the overall table to force the sizes to fit. 22:22, 22 July 2010 (BST)
