:Some squares higher than others. The only way I would see it working is through text-based descriptions on the wiki (supposing Kevan actually does use it when I get around to finishing it), much like how you can supposedly see the almost the entire city from the top of St Ninian's steeple. That, or have some sort of barricade-type occurrence like the quarantine wall, where you can't move past it, but can move along it.
:For example: one of the suburbs I plan on designing will feature canyons with a bridge crossing it, or rather, the bombed remains of the bridge. The canyon will be uncrossable with a hundred-feet or so drop to the river below and attempting to cross would be impossible. There's also going to be ridges of unclimbable mountains, cliffs bordering lakes, raised roads and bridges, etc. All of which will prevent the player from crossing it from specified directions. --{{User:TheBardofOld/Sig}} 15:58, 16 March 2014 (UTC)

ORPHAN.jpg Orphaned Page
The following page(s) were orphaned, meaning they weren't linked from any other page on UDWiki. For house-keeping's sake, we are adding the link onto the relevant talk page. If you don't want the pages anymore just post them on the Deletions Page. You aren't required to do anything, but we'd appreciate if it you kept the link on any one of your pages.

Please note that the link provided below will not remove the page from Orphaned Pages, so you'll still need to manually make a link for us. Thank you.

Your page, The Veysey Building/Diary Archives, was not linked to on the wiki. This message is just to provide a link for it and clear it from our orphanage. --Yonnua Koponen Talk ! Contribs 22:09, 19 March 2010 (UTC)

Do whatever you like man, good luck with the editing. I think you were over complicating it for yourself. --RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 11:38, 24 March 2010 (UTC)
LEt me know when you're done and I'll include it in Unimplementia! --RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 15:34, 24 March 2010 (UTC)

Yo dawg

Just a rough mock up, but it shows you what could be done. When I fall, I'll weep for happiness 22:30, 28 March 2010 (BST)

Aichon and Iscariot did all the coding work, I just cut up a picture of a circle. Tongue :P When I fall, I'll weep for happiness 22:48, 28 March 2010 (BST)

Images

This is how you make image links, and including the image on the page (not just text linking to it) will show in the links section on the bottom of the image page. Images that arn't included on a page somewhere will likely be deleted as unused -- boxy talkteh rulz 11:34 18 July 2010 (BST)

Elaborating on this, I almost deleted your image again today as an unused image, so to stop it being "unused" in the future (and getting deleted as such) I'm just shoving it here:

Omitted

Hi!

Since you're a fan of roleplaying and writing, I'd like you to meet a friend of mine : Colette. She loves those things! --Miss balalaika 18:19, 29 November 2010 (UTC)

Thank you

Thanks! Feel free to change anything that you think it is not right. I am taking a long and hard walk through Malton. I will try to update everything that I can! Scout Dude 03:30, 10 December 2010 (UTC)

Unemplementia Suburbs

Hello again. Since I have some time off from term and work, I wanted to ask you if you're still interested in suburb designs for Rosslessness's Unemplementia city? --TheBardofOld 00:24, 21 December 2010 (UTC)

I pretty much gave up hope after an entire suburb of disintegrating melty clock was suggested. I had intended for a sort of district-style layout, with relevant building types consisting of 50% of the buildings in each district-thing. For example, in the 'industrial district', factories and warehouses would each make up 25% of buildings. Though, if I were to start again now, I'd probably base an area off of northwest Atlanta, with a quarry and an NT building named the CDC (you're American, you know why). --VVV RPGMBCWS 03:04, 22 December 2010 (UTC)

ЯHR

Hiya - sorry I didn't catch the question right away. While I suppose I'm in charge of things, there's no ranks...it's just not that kind of outfit. I left that kinda stuff behind when the DEM and I parted ways. ЯHR is more just a group of friends and like minded survivor-types helping around the neighborhood. Hope that answered your question. If you'd care to discuss further, I'd be happy to do so over on the forum. --Griff 17:16, 15 January 2011 (UTC)

Have all been added to Unimplementia. Apologies for the year long delay. --RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 21:18, 1 March 2011 (UTC)

Spambats

Page blanking is absolutely fine :) The very best thing to do though is to report bots on UDWiki:Administration/Vandal Banning/Bots, so that ops can apply a timely and finite solution. -- Spiderzed 15:30, 21 October 2011 (BST)

Gotcha. Will do that in the future if they're not being hammered. --TheBardofOld 15:39, 21 October 2011 (BST)

When reporting bots, you don't need to report each individual page on A/VB/B, just the bots themselves. The sysops should then check through the contribs themselves. The bot template itself adds in the "user:" line, so some of the page reports you made caused the template to bug. Just letting you know to save you the extra effort. :) --Shortround }.{ My Contributions 11:13, 4 April 2012 (BST)

A Small Problem

Merritt071 shot me after you left. I'm droning around in front of St. Eugene's Church. Not at home at the moment, so I don't have access to the phone mod.

You certainly get around, don't you?

Very strange that you would travel halfway across the city from one day to the next, leaving behind one of my alts in a dark bank, only to land in the same dark bank that my other alt was sleeping in. What are the odds? Aichon 02:32, 8 August 2012 (BST)

I think of it as pure coincidence. I was originally just resting in the bank in Havercroft when visitors came by, who oddly enough, had previously visited the safehouse of my other main character a while ago. After everyone left, Jules packed up and left to travel around. The fact that she found herself in the same bank as your other character is just coincidence. She just ran out of AP. -- TheBardofOld 17:29, 8 August 2012 (BST)
Yeah, I saw it as coincidence, since I knew there was no way you had planned for it. Even so, quite coincidental. Anyway, it's been a pleasure bumping into you. Aichon 19:30, 8 August 2012 (BST)
Same to you. -- TheBardofOld 20:25, 8 August 2012 (BST)

Reversion

What reason did you have for this edit? If you don't want them categorized they belong in your user space, otherwise if you're experiencing actual code construct issues from the categorization describe them and I can provide a solution that will resolve them. --Karekmaps 2.0?! 08:39, 4 December 2012 (UTC)

Simply put, your edits broke the template coding. I apologize for the edits and I'll group them.-- TheBardofOld 15:03, 4 December 2012 (UTC)
Yeah, on templates like those, adding the noinclude on a new line introduces a line break right before the noinclude, and that line break will be included, which can oftentimes break pages that rely on those templates. The same thing happened a few months back when someone categorized a few of the BB3 templates. The quick fix is to simply bump the noinclude tag up to the previous line, then have the line break, then the categorization and close the noinclude. Aichon 16:24, 4 December 2012 (UTC)
Ah, okay. Thanks. -- TheBardofOld 16:52, 4 December 2012 (UTC)
Pretty much that since the wiki doesn't like to ignore spaces in HTML/CSS like it should be doing. --Karekmaps 2.0?! 17:15, 4 December 2012 (UTC)
Yup. Not to mention that it's inconsistent in its handling of line breaks. If I type one, nothing happens typically (the two lines get grouped into a single <p> tag and the line break is ignored properly), but if I type two, the two lines are suddenly parsed into separate <p> tags. I suppose I can understand why they did it, given the audience that wikis are aimed at, but it creates all sorts of problems when you simply want to make some code readable.
