Welcome to the Zone Defenders!

Thanks for joining up with us, Timo 1. Right now the zone is pretty quiet but there's a few little trouble spots, and of course the Second Big Bash is rolling around Malton and is sure to stop in at some point. A couple of things : I noticed you joined our forums already, which is awesome but if you can make a post saying hello I can add you to the approved list. The other thing is simply please take the 'The' out of 'The Zone Defenders' as your group so our stats stay accurate.

We really appreciate the help. Where are you currently located? --Benigno SSZ RCC 16:41, 27 November 2007 (UTC)

Need help?

From what others have put here and still having a little trouble getting your suggestion on there I'd like to offer my help with formating and getting it up there. Leave a message on my talk page if you want it. --Dipcup 00:33, 11 August 2007 (BST)

Well the first step to accepting my offer to help would be to learn to sign your comments so I don't scratch my head for a second wondering who left this message. Its really quiet easy you just put four tildes in a row like ~~~~ at the end of your comments. For basic information like this there is a block of text down near the bottom of your talk page with orangeish background that explains some of these things. Secondly I'm sure you noticed how quickly your suggestion was shot down. If you choose to resubmit a modified suggestion I would hold off until after you have a better understanding of game mechanics in general so you can see how it might affect the game as a whole and tweek things to make sure it doesn't unbalance the game or destroy game-play (not saying your specific suggestion did, but this is meant to be kinda general advice). Read through all the suggestion literature to figure out the rules and the best way to do things. I would also closely pay attention to other suggestions and figure out why some fail and others don't. Then when you think you have it all figured out instead of sending your suggestion strait into the meat grinder to see how well it fairs I'd also put it on a talk page so the general community(the same people that will be voting) can comment and give suggestions that are generally more constructive than those given in the voting process. I'm not sure if this wiki has a "how to edit stuff" page but wikipedia does here and that should help as well. If you have any questions or can't find the answer to something don't hesitate to ask and if I don't know(I'm new here too) I'll help you figure out where both of us can get the answer. --Dipcup 13:29, 11 August 2007 (BST)

Suggestions

Do you need some help making a suggestion? All you've got to do is copy the part in the white box (on the new page you created), then edit page and copy it there, adding the details of your new suggestion The preceding signed comment was added by boxy (talkcontribs) at 08:07 10 August 2007 (BST)

You must be trying to edit the template, rather than the actual page you created. Put the following text on your suggestion page, and change it to include your suggestion...
<noinclude>
{{Suggestion Navigation}}

{{TOCright}}
</noinclude>
===SugHead===

~~~~
'''Suggestion type'''
Skill, balance change, improvement, etc.
'''Suggestion scope'''
Who or what it applies to.
'''Suggestion description'''
Full description. Check spelling and be descriptive.
{{Subst:SuggestionVoting}}}
... hope this gets you started The preceding signed comment was added by boxy (talkcontribs) at 15:00 10 August 2007 (BST)
It might be a good idea to finish a suggestion before beginning the procedure of submitting it; that way, you can submit it in only a minute or so, with copy/paste, so that the suggestion page won't be left blank for any major period of time. Just an idea, but one that might be useful. --Saluton 18:06, 10 August 2007 (BST)
Signing comments/votes
Please remember to sign your comments and votes by using 4 tildes (~~~~) at the end of your comment. It automatically includes your signature and a timestamp. Read the above Welcome Newbie template for nore information on how we do things around this wiki. It looks intimidating but it's surprisingly easy to understand :). 'arm. 10:36, 27 July 2007 (BST)
Suggestion
I think you forgot to edit the red text or something like that on your hunter suggestion... It's generally not a good idea to leave stuff like that lying about, try putting it together in a word processor before submitting it.--Labine50 MHG|MEMS 22:38, 10 August 2007 (BST)
