It's far too early to withdraw or get into massive overhauling - the policy would need to simmer anyway for three days before it could go to voting. Things don't look peachy right now, granted, but at least DDR sounded in favour of keeping spam from Kevan's talk in the VB case discussion. We'll see.

Just thought I would add my two cents. I will not be offended if you ignore me or tell me to mind my own business. To get it to occupy the left space, you just have to un-center it, but to get it to occupy the grey beneath, you have to give up your cell padding. I would suggest instead putting it in a filled box that is roughly the same color as the pic. You can then specify a percentage of how far across the page you want it to go and center your image inside of it, to look like your .jpg is extended to either side, or right justify it within a box that takes up more than 50% of the screen, to keep the image more or less in the center of the screen but have it reach to the left.

Look at my user page - the things with scroll bars are div boxes, and you can have them in any colour, size, in any place on the screen, and without scroll bars.
