January & February

During mid-December to February, the suburb's status changed from "Danger" to "Very Danger" then "Ghost Town." Because survivors were either killed or routed, and zombies couldn't write, no report was filed in those months.

2008

December

December 8th

Few zombies, and two powered NT's, one powered Hospital and one powered PD. LucasBlack 14:57, 8 December 2008 (EST)

December 6th

Mostly ruined, a few zombies scattered about, no humans in sight. -- Grogh 21:43, 6 December 2008 (UTC)

November

November 24th

About 1/3 of the suburb is now barricaded, including one hospital and NT Building. Far from safe, but no longer a ghost town. -- Lucas Black 07:36, 24 November 2008 (EST)

November 16th

Just walked the entire suburb, all ruined, nothing powered or barricaded, barely even any zombies. Definitely a ghost town. -- Grogh 01:41, 16 November 2008 (UTC)

October

No report during this month. The suburb was considered Dangerous at the time, with most buildings destroyed and 40-60 zombies shambling around. Perhaps survivors were too busy surviving to report anything.

September

September 28th

At least 30 zombies on the streets. Breakdown of the Tactical Resource Points:

  • 3 NecroTechs: 1 powered, 1 not, 1 ruined.
  • 3 Police depts: 1 powered, 2 ruined.
  • 2 hospitals: not powered.
  • 1 auto repair: not powered.

With the powering of some TRPs, and with only a third ruined, this is no longer a Ghost Town. Given the low levels of TRP ruination, I'm going to mark it as Moderate. --Funt Solo QT Scotland flag.JPG 16:02, 28 September 2008 (BST)

June

June 17th

The western and northern part of West Becktown is wide open.[1] [2] -- including all the resource buildings in north (Sweeney and Oxley NTs, St Lazar's Hospital, and Curle St and Piegsa Pl PDs[3] [4]). There is no way West Becktown is Moderate as currently reported. At "best", due to the low zombie numbers seen in the north at least, it's a Ghost Town. Since at least 5 out of 7 TRPs are ruined, I'm calling it Very Dangerous for the moment. --WanYao 05:04, 17 June 2008 (BST)

May

May 29th

The zombie and other hostile groups have moved in from the south, taking the telephone mast and complicating the revive effort. They didn't bring enough reinforcements, however, and we will be pushing them back out of the center of the neighborhood in little time and even less effort. They create many Alts, these zergers do, to clutter up the revive points and fill ruined buildings with zombies, but they should've concerned themselves with quality over quantity, because we're tearing through them faster than if they had real sentinels in our way. We'll have Oxley back within a couple days or so. Szutkra 7:38 P.M. May 29, 2008.

May 15th

Oxley NecroNet Report: West Becktown is nearly thriving with life. The recent revive effort, to which I have donated as much time and resources as I humanly can, have proved to be fruitful and beneficial to the survivors claiming this suburb as, at least for the moment, their current home. The main situation providing a problem is the well-known zombie named NoRmedic (http://www.urbandead.com/profile.cgi?id=277907), who will do everything he can to kill the survivors. Do not revive him, just shoot him, keep your barricades high, and move on. Best of luck. --Szutkra 08:45, 15 May 2008 (EST)

March

March 31st

No news has been posted here in awhile so I'll give an update. Phoenix Security Services is working closely with the DHPD to bring barricades and electricity back to this suburb. Several buildings are powered and in human hands, but there is still a decent zombie presence in this suburb that makes it a dangerous place to stay. The current danger level accurately reflects this.--Dr Doom86Phoenix2.gif T PSS 12:37, 31 March 2008 (BST)

March 22nd

Ghost Town is a pretty good description of this place. All the buildings are dark. Undead tumbleweeds roll through the streets. Even my zombie got bored at the RP. There isn't fodder here for man or Zed. Firestorm Steel, 08:22 GMT, 21 March 2008

March 19th

NecroWatch reported from the Sweeney Building revealing that there were 128 zombies within scanning range. Of note, there were 32 zombies at the Salopia Row revive point in Darvall Heights, 14 zombies at the southwest corner of Caiger Mall in Chudleyton, and another 14 zombies at the Pullin Square revive point, and 5 zombies at the Sweeney facility itself. --Mobius 16:37, 19 March 2008 (UTC)

March 16th

Two weeks since my last sweep. The entire suburb is in ruins now - there are no intact buildings, no survivors, and even the undead presence is dwindling. Counted about 45 zombies from the street, but a literal half of those are at revive points, waiting, so the actual undead presence is lower. It's another ghost town here. --Tempest56, 04:11 GMT, 16 March 2008

March 7th

You guys ever get the idea that undead controllers can sometimes read. We had a nice little base until someone posted this here and now that base is emptied and full of Zeds. All MoB has to do is scan these boards every day, find out where we survivors are trying to make a comeback and they just have a nearby strikeforce come in and clear the defenses. Getting needlessly killed gets old after a while --16:28, 7 March 2008 (UTC)Major Beans

March 2nd

Very heavy undead presence still. Counted 70+ zombies from the street. 75% of the suburb is in ruins. The only holdout is the south-west corner, primarily around Cottam Way PD. The area looks to be getting used by the DHPD and ZS as a staging area for forays into Dunnell Hills. However, roughly 50% of the suburb's undead are also in that area. It's unclear at a glance if the area is under attack, or if it's the fallback for dead survivors in the Dunnell Hills fight. --Tempest56, 20:58, 2 March 2008.

February

February 5th

Ever since last year, during the great PKer invasion, West Becktown and its surrounding DMZ neighbors have been in ruin. Cade strafing seems inefficient, and the support from Caiger Mall has been reverted to uphold its entry points, most common break-ins of which seem to be the Pagram Library. --KoronofHearts 23:31, 5 February 2008 (UTC)KoronofHearts

Flowar has effectively fallen, more Zeds inside then humans, unknown outside. Concetrated attack on this building and surrounding PD and Hospital. More zombies possibly heading this way. OverlordQ 18:44, 29 January 2008 (UTC)

The burb is fairly stable, one or two ruins here, a few break-ins there....just skims the line of yellow, but the local groups are keeping it green(with much struggle, however.).--KoronofHearts 15:48, 27 January 2008 (UTC)KoronofHearts

January 20th

There are very few players in the whole suburb and just about 0 zombies, in a run through the suburb only 2 buildings were found ruined and 1 zombie seen. Borderline Ghost Town with a few survivors, enough to make the suburb at least populated, if sparsely.--Karekmaps?! 20:40, 20 January 2008 (UTC)

I disagree. This place is loaded with tons of new and veteran survivors alike. I think it's safely green once again.--KoronofHearts 21:51, 21 January 2008 (UTC)KoronofHearts

January 13th

NecroWatch reported a scan from the Sweeney Building which revealed that there were 43 zombies within scanning range. Of these zombies the only significant zombie mobs were the 7 zombies at St. Lazar's Hospital and the 6 zombies at the Latrobe Building over in Darvall Heights. The remaining zombies were 3 or fewer in number at any single location.

50 Zed's and virtually no survivors or usable buildings is a ghost town to you? Get real.
You are mistaken, Mr. Unsigned.

I just ventured in there too. It's definitely a ghost town. --DanceDanceRevolution 05:41, 7 September 2007 (BST)

August

August 22nd

Cottam PD, the Flowar NT and Werburgh's Hospital have all been overrun by Extinction and the RRF along with local zombies and a contingent of the Feral Undead. The DHPD defense force was decimated with heavy loss of life wiping out the last remnants of organized survivor resistance in West Becktown. --Zeug 19:14, 22 August 2007 (BST)

We'll be back... *winks with a twinkle in his eye and joy on his brain* --Marty Banks (aka. Mundane) <DHPD> 04:19, 23 August 2007 (BST)

August 21st

Battle is raging on the towns southern border around Flowar NT and Cottam Way Police Dept with a strong force led by the DHPD making a last ditch stand to retain a presence in the DMZ against elements of the RRF and Extinction. The entirety of the rest of West Becktown lies in ruins and remains an extremely dangerous warzone. --Zeug 17:05, 21 August 2007 (BST)

August 19th

The valiant survivor defense at the Oxley NT has fallen to RRF, Extinction, Eastonwood Ferals and other Allied forces after holding out against the odds in the midst of the LUE inspired carnage after the fall of Caiger Mall. Much of the northern half of the town lies in ruins as organized zombie groups and a horde of ferals moves south in search of brains to eat. The fallout from this catastrophe looks to be massive with the entire DMZ overrun and no sign of an organized response from the DHPD or any other elite survivor group. --Zeug 10:52, 19 August 2007 (BST)

Patrons of the Acott Arms and the Waugh Arms seem to be involved in an increasingly escalated conflict with each other. People seeking a quick drink to numb the pain of daily existence are advised to exercise caution. --Harpomarxist 03:50, 30 July 2007 (BST)

Most of the central and north-eastern portions of the suburb are firmly in survivor hands. The southern portion is still some what dangerous but the situation is improving as more survivors move into the area. --Lord Wulfgar 04:40, 23 May 2007 (BST)

A recent attempt to retake the Flowar Building was repulsed. The zombies in the area seem to show an unusual degree of coordination. --Specialist290 22:06, 3 May 2007 (BST)

March 6th

Not very safe, kind of neglected. Looks like everyone abandoned this 'burb after the Caiger washdown. The barricades of Dunstone Walk Fire Station, one of the few barricaded buildings I saw, have fallen today.

February

February 10th

Word on the line is Caiger went down recently, and consequently West Becktown has gotten sacked by the zeds making their way into the burb. Curle and Piegsa PD are busted all to hell. Everywhere but the most southern reaches of the suburb are all ransacked. Lots of destruction, and plenty of zeds milling around everywhere, I barely made it without getting munched on. I suggest hiking the danger level of the burb until things cool off. --Bullettoothtony 11:44, 10 February 2007

January

January 14th

Things are beginning to cool down after a long siege of the area. However, zombie levels are still high in the suburbs northern end due to the Caiger Resistance Front's constant attempts to disrupt Caiger's Support Structures. --Marty Banks (aka. Mundane) <DHPD> 17:25, 14 January 2007 (UTC)

Oh an a little heads up, Uppill Police Precinct is recruiting to reinforce West Becktown from future zed incursion. If you're interested in taking a active role in defending Caiger's Southern Support Structures then give us a call at the DHPD Human Relations and Recruitment Office. --Marty Banks (aka. Mundane) <DHPD> 17:48, 14 January 2007 (UTC)

September 20th

A Disturbing trend of anti-DHPD graffiti has spread throughout Roywood. False statements such as " 'x' is for DHPD only" or "Join the DHPD or die" have appeared on many buildings recently. It is not known who is spraying this graffiti, but one thing is for sure, It is NOT DHPD personnel.

September 12th

Over the last few days, the Predators horde has really began stepping up its attscks in the area. Other zombies are begning to pile in for attacks, and undisclosed zombie groups are also due inbound. sorry to thos ein the area, but the time has come. Welcome to the second hunt. The humans in the area, also, are putting up one hell of a fight. The pattern is revive, kill, die, on both sides, and it is like an over numbered ont eh humans part, mexican stand off. In order for the humans to fall, more zombies will need to arrive.

September 5th

Another raid by the Predators was focused this evening, this time targetting the southernmost hospital on the western side of the suburb, closest to the Flowar Building and the PD under recent attack; due to DHPD members spreading out in response to Predators focused atacks, with hopes of staying alive in higher numbers being spread out. Groans could be heard echoing the streets. Upon APing out in the Hospital, Witchblade and two other members of Predetors were quickly killed and dumped before they could cause significant harm to the personel inside.

September 4th

The Dunell Hills Police Department defends their stance on killing zombie spies, because they are zombie spies. Do you really need more reason than that? An official statement has been made to the Predators on the matter. Upon reaction as promised, the horde has smashed through the barricades of the PD once more with their timed attacks, dropping some 3 members of the DHPD. They will be headshot, and wake up at the same time the following evening to repeat the proccess, untill attention is paid to their feeding groans, trying to horde other zombies into the battle.

September 2nd

Zombie population in the northern half of the suburb is nearly zero. Most buildings barricaded. No large groups and no mobs, minus one small horde in the south of the suburb. Last night, the small, growing horde, known as the Predators, took down the Flowar Building, and a member of our group who was alive, was alegedly unjsutlly pk'ed by the DHPD.

At the Coss Cinema, well respected and much beloved freelance healer/reviver Sassie is brutally and inexplicably murdered in her sleep by a psychopath called Uncle Owen. West Becktown reverberates to the sound of cries for his head in light of this unprovoked atrocity! Also, the Predators begin piling into town, in the south. They are on a mission to take down the suburb, and all vestigages of life, as well as to bring the ferals into their growing numbers.

August 17th

The DHPD issues the following release by blanketing the area with grafitti tickertape, direct mailings, and at least one helecopter flying overhead: There have been numerous issues brought to our attention and would like to address them now. First, ALL survivors are welcome in the DMZ and specifically Dunell Hills, graffiti that indicates otherwise is griefing from an unknown source. Second, officers of the DHPD do NOT kill other survivors without warrant, if you have been killed by someone claiming to be DHPD, please contact us with the profile and register with our Science department for a revive. Third, if we set up a precinct in a PD it is not an attempt to claim territory or displace an existing groups claim, rather the precinct chief is to act as an envoy so that we may assist survivors near said P.D. We will follow the guidelines of an existing group’s mandate, unless it directly conflicts with the majority of survivors in the area. We recognize that conflicts will arise but hope that they can be resolved without the need to open fire upon one another. Signed: DHPD Command Staff.

Awesome Central, the strip between and including Curle St PD and Gotch Museum is totally cleaned out of zeds. You bet your brainballs.

March 21st

EMERGENCY! Curle St PD has been compromised, and many survivours are asleep inside. If any friendlies see this, you MUST go in to the Curle St PD and either a) barricade to EH or b) take out the zed infiltrators. Preference is in that order. Save those poor people!

Piegsa is now back to VS+2 and zombie free. Thank you to everyone who desimated the competition, flying in their wake a blind ambition. Death the deadman! --DogSoldier Justice Inc

March 17th

Piegsa Place PD had it's zed pop whittled down to 3 with a fine axe tapping from DogSoldier, but the doors are wide open. I just ran out of the AP. Uppil is lightly caded, Curle is VS. Someone might wanna cade the zeds into Piegsa. Keep up the fight! Brew ha ha! --DogSoldier, Justice Inc

March 11th

Piegsa Place Police Dept has 7 zeds in it, and the doors are wide open. Closed the doors, but the zeds are still inside. A sexy zombie spy, EscapedZombieChimp, was last seen at the Ross Avenue School. Before the outbreak, on a sunny day at the Malton City Zoo, DogSoldier and EscapedZombieChimp had a quarrel over a donkey (dog/monkey hybrid), and their friendship fell apart. In the horrible shit fight that ensued the feces-covered girl left EscapedZombieChimp, and he has never gotten over his shame. Do what you must, folks. This shit-flinging zombie has to be stopped! Kudos to Justice Inc, and whoever else helped out at Curle Street. Now let's kick them out of Piegsa! --MotorGirl

March 9th

Curle Street Police Department is in the hands of zeds. About ten of the zombies were inside, with the doors wide open, and about the same number of bodies outside. Only six were inside the day before. Folks with construction need to barricade the building, while some kind folks exterminate the living impaired and toss them to the curb. Anyone who can come on by and take pot shots at the zeds in the area please, do. Maybe they'll get the message and move on elsewhere. --MotorGirl

March 7th

Curle Street Police Department was overrun on March 6th by a group of 25 zombies. As of today, there are three or four groups containing 3-5 zeds each in the immediate vincinity. Any DHPD, or those inclined to keeping West Becktown zed-free, would be welcomed in helping out, healing any survivors, and rebuilding barricades to specifications. --Justice Inc have joined this scuffle. Free Curle from the ugly!

March 4th

Justice Inc, a small but dedicated group declare their intention of keeping West Becktown safe. They mean no interference to any other pro-survivor groups and wish all due co-operation in the future... but hot damn if they ain't gonna turn them zeds into squishy green goo, in the suburb the JI boys grew up in!

January

The Mall Tour '06 has declared that the four suburbs surrounding Caiger Mall are to be turned in effect into Ridleybank's. To those unaware of that situation, the suburb is under zombie control. West Becktown will be overrun by the Mall Tour just before the seige of Caiger; a second coming, if you will. After some research and seeing the already increasing zombie numbers in West Becktown, I would strongly urge survivors to either head to Caiger Mall to help the effort (Free Running needed of course) or flee to safer areas. I stood in the way of the Mall Tour in the past and where they go everyone simply dies. As a suburb without regulations or leaders we can not hope to coordinate enough of a defence to be anything more than sporting game to them. Whether you choose to go to Caiger Mall or to flee, you are just better off not being anywhere near here. --Reyhn Retenra

December

December 16th

Cottan Way PD fell to a group of 18-24 zombies. After this they moved on to the Hippseley NT Building in Molebank where they broke the barricades. They invaded, killed 3 survivours and were subsequently trapped inside at EH barricades. A turkey shoot followed and within 2 hours, all 16 invading zombies were uncermoniously dumped on the sidewalk with a welcome to Molebank card signed by surviours from Greater Becktown, Lukinswood and Molebank stuck to their rotting chests.

It is expected that this rabble will move on to Burrell Way PD before St. Jude's. -- Celt Mac ireann 20:15, 17 Dec 2005 (GMT)
The revivification point in the cemetary at (12,38) is bursting with corpses. There are 25 corpses and 1 zombie waiting to be revived (me) at 23:48 PST, Jan 11 2006
Well? Are you still there? Several revivifications have taken place since then -- Drummer boy 22:56, 14 Jan 2006 (GMT)
THE BEST revive point I've ever seen. I arrived there as a zombie and within 1 minute I was alive again. I actually saw the guy outside move to the cemetery. It is recommended to hit this place for a quick revive. I traveled 6 suburbs and got revived faster (after 3 days of running) than my friend who has been dead and standing near a NT building for over a week. --Reyhn Retenra

December 13th

It was noted that what appears to be a full scale zombie assualt on the buildings in the southwest quad is underway by an assorted numbered at over 50. It seems as if they are targeting the resource buildings such as police departments and hospitals in this area, but other nearby buildings should not be considered safe. It is not currently known if this the work of any single zombie group, or simply opportunistic ferals fleeing from Caiger Mall. It seems plausible, however, that this is the same group which were causing problems in central West Becktown recently.

December 5th

It is advised that all survivors follow Operation Tumbleweed and avoid all high risk buildings. Reports indicate that the police departments in the northwest have fallen under zombie control as has the local NecroTech building.

November

November 22nd

PLEB announced their intention to expand their patrols and help beyond the borders of East Becktown and into West Becktown on a regular basis.

mid-November

Several separate zombie hordes convened on Caiger Mall, just to the northeast of West Becktown. Survivors are attempting to hold the mall and zombie activity in the region has increased dramatically. Local survivors in the region should consider whether they wish to aid in the defence, or to remove themselves to a safer distance in the style of Operation Tumbleweed in effect in East Becktown.

The horde of zombies has been increasing as various allied groups trickle in to add their number to the bodies throwing themselves against the barricades. Current reports indicate that there are now more than 800 zombies assaulting the mall itself and that attacks are beginning to spread out to surrounding buildings. On the positive side, survivors are flocking to aid in what is perhaps the greatest mall battle in Malton to date. Because Caiger Mall consists of four separate locations, and provides a ready supply of helpful equipment, it seems unlikely that the zombies will ever be able to take the whole mall.
