Description

Wray Towers is an office tower, and one of several storm-wracked towers, located in the suburb of Rolt Heights on the border with Rhodenbank to the north. Wray Towers was built in 1984 as part of an effort by commercial landowners to generate some money from the depreciation value of real estate in Rolt Heights. One of the few modern buildings in the suburb though it only managed to stick out like a sore thumb. If not for Risdon Towers just to the south it would have looked completely out of place.

Unfortunately the company's efforts were in vain, as while they were able to sell the office space for a cheap price no one was interested in moving their business into Rolt Heights. As if cursed, the office tower remained almost completely empty until 2003, when NecroTech leased the top floor, for what they called "a good vantage point". The landowners hardly cared for the reason as this was the first money they had made off of their building to date. Of course just a year or so later the "Malton Incident" ended all further profit as zombies are wont to do.

As for the NecroTech staff, survivors who have visited the tower's top floor found it as deserted and ransacked as one might expect of any location in Malton, and yet, from the lack of dust it almost appears as if they had evacuated more recently than most would expect, perhaps only months ago rather than years. Odd. If that were the case then the staff working here are no doubt trapped somewhere inside Malton as they surely could not have been evacuated in time.

Barricade Policy

This building should be Extremely Heavily barricaded at all times. This is in accordance with the mutually supported Rolt Heights Barricade Plan set forth in agreement with local survivor groups. This building is meant to serve as a safehouse for Malton's veteran survivors.

It should be noted that as no specific survivor group monitors nor maintains the barricades associated with this barricade plan, so therefore it is not considered to be enforced. As such, survivors should always expect to find the barricades set at varying levels depending on the survivors inside the building. For the most part though, survivors should always expect to find this building over-barricaded rather than under-barricaded simply due to survivor nature.

Current Events

April 14th, 2007 - In an interesting twist of fate it was reported that ZiggyIrked of Cybele's Slayers had murdered Grant Page of Red Rum in association with the Rolt Heights War. No doubt many laughs were had about this mix-up much later.

April 12th, 2007 - The Rolt Heights War continues to claim victims throughout the suburb as agents of the PKA murder survivors left and right. The Dancing Banana killed FootMeetsFace in one such murder within the tower. No doubt the ghost of the ill-named FootMeetsFace haunts the building to this day... or not.
