Heavy zombie activity in the area, many hospitals under siege. Sightings of Annus Horribillis zeds with hordes of zombies; some others have revivified and are working to undermine survivors. The Wicksted Building RRP still struggles and the Buckley Mall has come under periodic attack from zombies and PKers but the remainder of the suburb is in fair shape. Wyke Hills is nearly completely overrun, but my shambling corpse-self doesn't see any hoards (yeah, I'm dead...I figured I'd take a look around before wandering eastward to get revived). I don't see more than a handful of zeds anywhere, but nearly every building has a few zeds shuffling around. It's clearly not safe, but there does seem to be time to evacuate. Mindless bastards: the Wicksted Building was one of the few indoor revive centers in Malton...those with Brain Rot who thought better of things could come here to get a revive and a complimentary shot of whiskey (that's my parting gift, at least). But, they've taken that away. *sigh* Sometimes, I think I'd enjoy splattering zombie brains more than reviving the fallen. But, after a few drinks, that feeling passes. There's nothing quite like the satisfaction of bringing someone back. But, now, I'll be plying my trade further east. -- Roberto Tomba 23:45, 29 November 2010 (BST)

Suburb virtually repaired and buildings updated by the Wulves and the D.S. R&D. The only ruined buildings are St Maimillian's Church, a few clubs and banks, and part of the mall. All but the banks and clubs are recently repaired. All four NT buildings are lit and scans indicate fewer than 30 zombies in the suburb with only one moderately sized group in the Mall.--Albert Schwan Albert Schwan  01:47, 12 July 2010 (BST)

Buckley Mall and the surrounding buildings have all fallen to the murderous hands of the Militant Order of Barhah, marking the elimination of the last survivor foothold in the suburb. Witnesses report hearing piercing screams throughout the night mixed with the occasional shout of "Oh shit zombies! GTFO!" The food court is said to have adopted a menu consisting entirely of Orange Julius and Harman Surprise. The MOB group advises survivors to embrace Barhah and seek-out the nearest end-of-life counselor. -- Papa Jadkor (RRF) (MotA) (MT11) 19:00, 21 December 2009 (UTC)

Actually, the occasional shout was "Oshi Tsomby's! GTFO!" and was a marketing ploy by Oshi Tsomby Tofu Restaurants to promote their new Tofu fried oysters: GTFO was short for "Get Tofu Fried Oysters!"...--Belisarius17 21:21, 22 December 2009 (UTC)

December 20th

Eight days into the battle for Wyke Hills and the Mall has fallen. Survivors are advised that it is no longer accessable due to being ruined and caded. Wulves group advises survivors to avoid area until task force breaks down the cades from outside.--Belisarius17 17:51, 20 December 2009 (UTC)

December 19th

Winter Weather and Zed Advisory Warning: Holiday shoppers are advised to avoid the Buckley Mall as the MOB is breaking in and it is the scene of some fierce fighting as Zed BarHah zealots have run smack into last minute shopping fanatics and brawls over tickle-me Elmo dolls have escalated into gunfire and bite attacks. Several Allied groups including TAR, PLAM, Rotters Revive, The Survivors Republic and the Wulves continue to nip at the heels of the MOB machine as it churns through the Burb. Officials from the Wulves will be dimming holiday lights through out the threatened Burb as a safety measure and offering Hot Chocolate @ mobile revive clinics. The Wulves ask that shoppers not get into arguements with MOB Zealots over parking places-Our "guests" have come a long way after all-and to try to limit confrontations to inside buildings.

In a related story: rumors of a Kamakazie Clown Brigade called "The Divine Broken Wind" have surfaced. Based on the old joke: 2 cannabals were eating a clown when one turned to the other and said: "Hey, does this taste funny?"-This apparently suicidal comedic groups hopes to upset the stomachs of the MOB with bad humor and naughty thoughts...film at 11.--Belisarius17 20:23, 19 December 2009 (UTC)

December 13th

Winter Weather and Zed Advisory Warning: Wulves group reports significant break in and attack at Rotters Relief clinic and Cosh Motel. Strongly advise residents to withdraw from burb during next 12 hours. Initial DNA Scans suggest MOB has turned southwest into Wyke Hills. This will lead to scattered darkness through out the burb followed by heavy ruin in resource buildings, with a chance of snow as Wyke Hills is transformed into a second "Maldengrad". This should be followed by torrential ruin of all buildings as the sky fills with snow leaving the burb to resemble post WW2 pictures of Stalingrad. Residents are advised to take cover but to avoid trailer parks and Malls as tornados, blizzards and really good zombie hoards seem to be attracted to them. Best Zed group in the game- strongly advise survivors to adopt mobile tactic and change your travel plans accordingly.--Belisarius17 18:33, 13 December 2009 (UTC)

I have been scouting Wyke Hills. I do not think we will be able to bring this area back under survivor control. The mall has been taken by the undead and most resource buildings are out of commission. If I can repair a NecroTech facility to operational condition, I will scan the area. I believe there are approximately fifty zombies in Wyke Hills, so we will need to organize a massive clean up to annex Wyke Hills for the living.--Bishop Vagancia I 00:55, 22 March 2009 (UTC)

There was 1 zombie at a cemetery to the north, another zombie at a junkyard across the border in Buttonville, and lastly a zombie at Ambrose Bank over in West Grayside. Survivors in the area may as well rleax, kick back, drink a cold one, and wonder whatever happened to all those zombies they used to hear so much about. --Mobius 17:30, 21 February 2009 (UTC)

The suburb for the most part is under control. Most buildings are powered and caded, and all revive points are empty. I noticed that Cockayne Grove Police Dept (52, 91) was empty and unpowered, and Botting Towers (53, 91) was ransacked with two zombies inside. Reed Towers (54, 92), Sharpe Library (54, 93) & a warehouse (51, 96) were all underbarricaded according to the barricade plan. These are only the buildings I've visited today, but I've noticed that most of the suburb does not follow the barricade plan and survivors generally do not barricade, or if they do, they over barricade and seem to be unaware that a barricade plan exists. Who's in charge here? Someone needs to work on updating the plan, and informing the suburb inhabitants through a suburb wide graffiti campaign. If anyone wants to work on this, I'm willing to help. --BrainsTasty 06:03, 8 June 2008 (BST)

Highest count outside the mall is a horde at the southwest corner. I count 97, all of which are active and hostile. Inside is a whole different ball game with a zed horde (and biggest group) of 132 in the NW corner.

Survivors are still battling it out for the mall with even odds. Go Humans!. --Wildfire 00:37, 1 May 2008 (BST)

Just took a look at Buckley to see if the mall had actually fallen as quickly as I heard it had. It's true. What was once filled with four to five hundred survivors now has all but the NE corner ruined. The remaining corner has 103 survivors and 82 zeds (at my count) with over 250 zeds in the other three corners. I'd recommend any survivors that have lived through this to quickly leave the area. --Irioth 00:30, 1 May 2008 (BST)

Wow, havent posted here for some time. Anyhow, battle for relatively insignificant building named Ryles in north-west Wyke Hills begun, as a small group of 'zeds bust in, past the barricades. My safehouse, if you can call it that these day broken into and I barley got out in time. Did a quick run around, noticed that almost every single building I saw was at EHB. I suggest that at least some buildings lower their barricades to VSB while the area seems safer. "small, highly coordinated strike team" appears to be more of one heck of a mob that just hit Buckley, they took one sector, originally the news was that LUE had hit, but it's RRF (Why the RIDLEYBANK Resistance Front is in wyke hills is beyond me), I think we should fall back to W. Grayside and prep for a counterattack. -- EchelonThree 13:08, 30 August 2007 (BST)

Yep, a small, highly-coordinated strike team that rapidly included all ferals within groan range, as well as any zed in a two block radius looking for easy XP who could read the wiki and wasn't already attacking Pole Mall (also see: why falling back to W. Grayside might not work). Eye witness reports are that the mall has been un-ruined, but that it probably won't last long with only a few defenders in the weak corner. --evilbob 13:59, 30 August 2007 (BST)
(Why the RIDLEYBANK Resistance Front is in wyke hills is beyond me) - For the custom Gremlin giveaway and the iPhones of course! Plus, Nichols does not have a working Orange Julius. --DonTickles 17:10, 30 August 2007 (BST)

August 29th

I dont know what the hell came through here.... apparently power to all major installations is down. NT facilities have been ransacked, and there's no signal from buckley. - EchelonThree 13:54, 29 August 2007 (BST)

"What the hell came through" is a small, highly coordinated strike team of the RRF (see Aug 27 post). However, since - like many zombies - they seem to be more interested in conquering territory than holding it (at least, for the moment), the good news is that several buildings are already back online. Advice to the locals: move out of the way. --evilbob 16:38, 29 August 2007 (BST)
Update: A small number of zombies (around a dozen) have broken into the SE corner of Buckley Mall. --evilbob 20:35, 29 August 2007 (BST)
That would be the RRFs Group 0, AU10 and MCC. They want some iPhones and the sleek custom AMC Gremlin that is being given away. --Braggledorth 23:54, 29 August 2007 (BST)

August 27th

Ephrem General Hospital has fallen to the RRF's AU10. --DonTickles 18:44, 27 August 2007 (BST)

July

July 29th

Wyke Hills appears to be well fortified these days. Survivors can be seen coming in and out of the mall armed with guns and ammunition. It appears that any zombie group that decides to venture into WH will encounter superior survivor resistence. User:Bohill07/sig 19:48, 29 July 2007 (BST)

July 24th

The Militant Order of Barhah has finally been driven out of Wyke Hills. However, the MOB has begun an intense assault on neighboring Buttonville. Injured Buttonville residents are slowly trickling into Wyke Hills for refuge. There are rumors that the Wyke Hills Defense Force is planning an all out assault on the MOB in Buttonville in the near future. --User:Captain Batlia/sig 21:40, 24 July 2007 (BST)

We weren't "driven out". We left because we'd killed everyone. There was no food left.--Jorm 07:20, 25 July 2007 (BST)
What, are afraid to admit defeat?--Tosca 02:05, 30 July 2007 (BST)
I don't know. Are you? Dude, we ate your mall - killed everyone in it and camped out inside of it for a week. Then we killed everyone in your suburb. Then we went next door and did the same thing. If that's "being driven out", then sure. "We were driven out."--Jorm 03:08, 30 July 2007 (BST)

July 18th

Screech PD has fallen. Some of the surrounding buildings have also been breached by zombies. The Militant Order of Barhah are quickly killing everything in the suburb, now is a very good time to panic.--Karekmaps?! 14:05, 19 July 2007 (BST)

July 17th

Some of the marauding zombies are laying siege to the Screech Police Station. At one point the barriers were breached and survivors were being dragged out and eaten alive. We need reinforcements to drive this horde back.

Foolish mortal, you have been chosen for Barhahptization by the Militant Order of Barhah. We have finished eating all the Orange Julius in your mall and now are coming for you and the rest of your breathing kind within Wyke Hills.--Jorm 03:57, 18 July 2007 (BST)

July 14th

Buckley now has 3 corners under zombie control. Run for your lives and have directions to your nearest revive point, because the Militant Order of Barhah owns this mall. --Beauxdeigh 20:02, 14 July 2007 (BST)

July 12th

MAHB RANZAAGH!!!! (in human language, The Militant Order of Barhah has ransacked Buckley Mall. All remaining survivors reside in peril.) -- Grogh 05:07, 12 July 2007 (BST)

July 3rd

Hitchens Towers remains offline as a small but vicious zombie mob continues its assault of the area. The surrounding buildings should be considered unsafe for sleeping - a statement with which the infected survivors dragged outside will agree. --Keith Drudgely 12:04, 3 July 2007 (BST)

June

June 30th

Haim Walk now meets the barricade plan specs, Screech Lane nearly so. Should be at spec by tomorrow. Sushiknight 12:28, 30 June 2007 (BST)

June 28th

Screech Lane Police Dept and Haim Walk Fire Station are both barricaded above VSB, without any Zeds around. I'll work on lowering the barricades asap with my survivor in Wyke Hills, once my AP have recharged. Sushiknight 19:32, 28 June 2007 (BST)

June 14th

Buckley Mall has been infiltrated by a number of organised PKers including members of the PK group Red Rum. I personally saw one attack and was then killed myself before I could respond. Survivors should be on their guard and ANY incidences of Player Killing should be reported on the Brainstock forum in order for bounties to be assigned to the perpetrators. Danny Finn 12:10, 14/06/07 (GMT)

June 12th

Drama Club staged a performance of "Army of Darkness" at Buckley Mall in the NE corner as part of their Border Tour of Malton. The group plans to travel clockwise around the border suburbs of Malton with one show in each suburb. Today they performed for the 49 survivors here as part of this tour. See their group page for performing groups and schedules.

June 7th

It appears that the pk group Red Rum has infiltrated Wyke and has begun masquerading around as members of Tactical Area Rescue and attacking T.A.R. members. Contrary to what they say, the area is not under martial law, and T.A.R. is not a pk group. --Somerandomdude 20:53, 7 June 2007 (AZ)

April

April 25th

Any survivors in an over barricaded resource building are requested to please lower the barricades to VS2. According to the old Wyke Hills 'cade plan, ALL resource buildings are designated entry points. This is to ensure availability of resources to all. You shouldn't be sleeping in them anyway unless you like waking up with a hunger for bra!nz. --Keith Drudgely 09:28, 25 April 2007 (BST)

April 21st

The Wicksted Building needs better security. Some zombies have been dragging people out of the building which is intended to be an open clinic for brain rots.

April 18th

Where exactly are the VS buildings? I am looking all over and would like to get into a police station or hospital at the very least.

unfortunately the paranoid suburb runners seem to have no regard for the set barricade plan, we are trying to get some set up and steady again but last time I checked there should be one in the warehouse next to Hitchens tower
so no open police stations or hospitals?

April 13th

Knight square is currently the fastest revive point around at the moment. if your looking for a revive you can get a fast one there.

April 9th

A new operation has started and with any luck it will be useful in the restoration of Wyke. with the loss of some groups and the devastating loss of the living in Wyke, hopefully this mission will let the living live a little better

April 7th

Buckley Mall is now in the claws of Mall Tour '07. Around 100 zombies are currently milling around inside, lamenting the lack of available bra!nz. Unfortunately, earlier raids by the RRF already weakened any chance of an adequate defense. Survivors should consider their safehouses very carefully over the next few days, as the Tour will inevitably spread out, seeking other targets in the suburb. --Keith Drudgely 22:58, 7 April 2007 (BST)

April 6th

The situation has boiled down to only 29 zeds in the NW corner of Buckley, which is technically in Hollomstown, but is still of concern. However, there are at least 40 survivors in each corner. We should be able to purge Wyke of the zed menace before the end of the month. Remember to get back to your safe house after your "Easter Egg Hunt" with all the goodies you get. --Somerandomdude 08:18, 6 April 2007 (UTC)

March

March 26th

There are approximately 50-75 zombies in the mall area, including zombified survivors. This is a call to all inhabitants of Wyke Hill and Buttonville to return and defeat the remaining zombies. As soon as we got rid of the standing zombies we can try to rebuild the mall and it's neighborhood.--Me Myself And I 21:15, 26 March 2007 (BST)

March 24th

Zombie numbers in Wyke Hills continue to fall. Barricades are going up across the suburb as survivor groups trickle back in to clean up their home town. Buckley Mall is almost clear of zeds - even a small survivor effort will return it to the hands of the living. --Keith Drudgely 16:52, 24 March 2007 (UTC)

Evidently survivors are unwilling to support meat shielding operations in the area around Buckley. Small break-ins occur regularly, and are difficult to repel without support. Generators and Radios act as beacons to the undead, and should be installed only when there are sufficient numbers to hold the Mall. --Keith Drudgely 19:25, 25 March 2007 (BST)

March 20th

If anybody needs a safehouse the Alner Reading Group to the north east is here to help, constant barricades and out of the zeds way. =P Unsunghero11

Update: FORGET IT, THE ALNER READING GROUP IS momentarily DEAD! =(

March 16th

Zombies appear to be sweeping into Wyke Hills from the North and East, attacking non-essential buildings; possibly spies are being used to assess whether buildings are worth destroying the barricades of. The Mall Tour seems to have finally arrived! Dray 02:34, 17 March 2007 (UTC)

Mall Tour at Nichols, no need to get your knickers in a bunch. And, for the love of Zombie Jesus, THEY DO NOT SPY. Sheesh! --Heiki 04:04, 17 March 2007 (UTC)

March 13th

the groups of Wyke Hills has suffered a devastating loss at the hands of the dead however they are planning a counter strike. the battle was lost but the war is only beginning

March 12th

With the Huddy Museum, the Ryles building and Sharp Library going down in successive days there seems to be a NE zed advance, if not in the other directions also. As these are not resource buildings, this is just a feeding movement. Sadly effective considering the low zombie numbers. Unknown if any battles lines are being drawn, or if survivors are just going down piecemeal in lightly populated buildings. If your building is next in line, it's recommended to move away to a larger populated building where some resistance can be started and the zed creep stopped, or at the very least you won't wake up Zombified like I almost did. ImALumberJack 18:34 (UTC)

March 11th

Zombies are moving into other parts of Wyke Hills and taking down barricades. Screech Lane Police Dept. had 10+ zombies outside and a few inside. St. Celestine's also had one zombie inside, but it was unclear if it was a reanimated corpse or forced entry as I was getting to a safe location to heal.

March 10th

Mall completely overrun, 6-10 zeds in each corner, easily retake-able. Julie General completely taken over, at least 56 zeds inside, recommend fighting by reviving as many as possible but those who cant revive should get in do as much damage as possible then retreat to an EHB nondescript building at least 4 blocks away.--Necrosoldier 23:09, 10 March 2007 (UTC)

Contrary to received wisdom, reviving hostile zombies is often a futile manoeuvre, leading only to a sudden inexplicable increase in angry PK/GKers. Survivors are urged to save needles for those who can best assist in retaking the mall. If you want to take out the enemy, well, that's what shotguns are for. --Keith Drudgely 01:30, 11 March 2007 (UTC)

March 6th

Once again, this morning sees a zombie break-in at Buckley Mall. Ten zombies currently occupy the SW corner, against a similar number of survivors. The 92 citizens in the NE are advised to help reinforce this corner to prevent a ransack, and the loss of the mall. Expectations are not high, judging by the prior inability of Wyke Hills citizens to defend their territory from the Barhah Brigade - already survivors are running through the mall shouting for others to flee. --Keith Drudgely 15:15, 6 March 2007 (UTC)

March 5th

Thanks for the kill humphreybot. Was going to be reporting him but everytime I pass through here I get PK'd. Any group trying to put a lid on this at all? Am now just waiting for a revive twidlling my thumbs at Craddock Road. saddlerodent 19.23 edit March 5th 2007

March 4th

Ozkar Woolfe is dead, I hold a sermon in latin and english every sunday, tune to 26:10 MHz for an interesting sermone every week. also, can we try to get a good population going in the mall? I notice how the se corner has less than 10. that could be a problem if those zeds come from lock. Richard Rose 9:32 edit March 4th 2007

I just dealt justice to hashissiin, a list pker with 6 reports, plus i had witnessed his murder of saddlerodent in a safehouse near the mall. knowing he would probably head to the mall, i went looking for him. i was low on ap but decided it was worth it, so i hammered at him and got lucky. dumped his body with the rest of the trash. ozkar woolfe, another known and listed pker is in the se corner of the mall. didnt have enough ap to take him. someone pop him quick. humphreybot 9:18 edt March 4th 2007

What is wrong with this suburb? Filled with people who cannot read? I stood in Craddock Road waiting for a revive while different people took potshots at me. I've been headshot at this 'revive point' 3 times in a day. With Mall tour and Excursion going on, I think this place will fall fast if and when they come. --User:visar 06:00, 4 March 2007 (gmt)

Wyke Hills is a very safe suburb. Unfortunately, this leads to revive killing and rampant PKing from bored survivors. It also means the populace are, as stated, woefully unprepared for any large-scale zombie attack. --Keith Drudgely 17:05, 4 March 2007 (UTC)

February

February 21st

I unwittingly attacked a zombie standing in a revive point. It wasn't a cemetary and I didn't look closely til it was nearly too late. Sorry, would take it back if I could, won't happen again. I am new :P --User:humphreybot 02:00, 21 February 2007 (est)

February 14th

Even zombies want to spread the love on Valentine's Day, and have broken into the Tebbett Building on the border of Buttonville and Wyke Hills. At last count, 4 Zombies had made it past the barricades and are currently munching on the inhabitants - the Randoms are defending the NT but i'm sure assistance would be welcome; FoFST troops are tied up quelling a zed incursion over in Hollomstown. Just watch out for love bites, kids. --Keith Drudgely 17:57, 14 February 2007 (UTC)

January

January 6th

Welp, it looks like Wyke is once again safe, save for a few isolated feral zombies. Seems the Brigade have had their fun (it's been fun for us too, thanks for keeping us on our toes guys) and are moving on to pastures new. Have a look at the Malton map - lets keep the south green! -- Keith Drudgely 13:37, 6 January 2007 (UTC)

December

December 30th

The Wolfendall Arms has been breached and ransacked by the Brigade. There are currently 7 standing zeds inside, and the doors are secured. Luckily only 2 of our number were killed in the attack and have since been revived. Allies of the FoFST, as well as anyone who fancies a fight and has AP to spare, are more than welcome to help retake the building ;) -- Keith Drudgely

Update: Wolfendall has been returned to its rightful owners. How long this will be the case is anyones guess, but the FoFST Assault Squad took down 7 zeds, dumped the bodies, repaired and barricaded to EHB within 60 seconds. -- Keith Drudgely 17:41, 31 December 2006 (UTC)

December 29th

Haim Walk Fire Station is void of survivors, with 6 zombies inside, and 11 sitting outside. -Ultre

December 27th

I'd suggest that we keep the Wicksted Building and the various other NT areas heavily barricaded for the moment, with a zombie group attacking them. Please use other entry points (the William Arms or Ephrem Hospital) nearby -Sherwin

Update: Screech Lane Police Department has been attacked by the zed group. Currently there are still thirty sleeping inside with 12 zeds. -Ultre
Further Update: FoFST soldiers have taken out 3 zeds at Screech - wherever possible aiming for members of the Barhah Brigade first, after DNA scanning. There are now 4 standing inside, with 'cades at VHB. -- Keith Drudgely

December 26th

Further FoFST reconnaisance indicates that Woomen Towers is currently ransacked and occupied by 7 zeds. Scans reveal they are members of the Barhah Brigade - meaning this is not just some random ferals who got lucky, it's either a planned attack or a diversion from the attacks on Lodder. It's time for the citizens of Wyke to leave the mall and come and fight! -- Keith Drudgely

December 25th

I just spent christmas eve as a zombie. It's good to be human again for christmas. Lodder is being attacked daily and now people are over barricading again. Don't sleep in lodder. Don't stay in lodder for any length of given time. In fact, go to the other Necro tech building in wykes and let them have that building. Revives will resume tomorrow when I have more AP. -Ultre

Update: Helicopters have been flying overhead today. Maybe they're dropping christmas dinners to people?
FoFST Homeland Defence have taken up garrison in surrounding buildings as part of the defence initiative for the Lodder Building. Reconnaisance indicates ~25 bodies outside, as well as 8 zeds in the cemetary. There are verified Rotters blocking the queue, so DO NOT RANDOM REVIVE -- Keith Drudgely

December 23rd

I don't suggest anyone sleep in the lodder building until the attacks stop. As far as I know, everyone has been eaten (including me). I suggest moving to the mall and going to lodder only to get needles and use necro net. -Ultre

December 22th

Damn zombies got into the lodder building again today. I think it's just a few organized ferals. People shoould keep a watch out so we don't end up wasting a generator a day on the breakins. --Ultre

December 21st

Zombies are pouring into the Lodder building. Three hours ago there were no standing zombies and now there are twenty. Possible organized horde may be moving through Wyke Hills. Be on the look out. -Ultre

December 19th

I haven't the faintest idea as to whether or not we'll be any good at this, but the Hartford Wrecking Crew's official revive point has been set up at Wasteland (58,98) in the southeast sector of Wyke Hills. I'll be making a wiki for it and a link will be sprayed at the Wasteland so people can make requests. I guess we'll require a revive request there and a posting of your id# or profile link. Being a well known member of a Wyke Hills group will help quell suspicion of PK'ing revivification, but that can't always be helped. Of course, we'll try and do our best, but please be patient. The page, if searched for, is "Hart Revive" Happy Chrismahanakwanzakah, folks!!! --TastyBeverage 05:25, 20 December 2006 (UTC)

I would like every one to know that my official H.Q. (St. Emelia's Church) will remain under constant watch and kept and VSB +2. I will not have anyone over barricading my H.Q. as I go Zed hunting every day and I would LIKE to be able to get back into my H.Q. Any body who dares Over barricade the church will face a serious ass-kicking. I see St. Emelia's Church as a great access point for Buckley Mall. - Jill Valentine 18:17 11 December 2006

You should discuss and update the barricade plan then. Because people are more likely to follow that than text in the middle of current events. ZaqWer 04:43, 12 December 2006 (UTC)
Speak with Greenstreak, of the Hartford Wrecking Crew via the TAR Forums. He is the architect of the current barricade policy, and I am sure would be willing to change things around for you. Next time you have a request though, realise that demands and threats are not a particularly good way of getting people on your side -Sherwin, Fear of Fridays Street Team

December 9th

Radio signals from Shearbank tell that Stickling mall has only half of it controlled by survivors and will likely fall by tonight. Would any groups be willing to go and fight the Shacknews??--Keith 921 23:56, 9 December 2006 (UTC)

NE Wyke Hills and surrounding area is bereft of zombie activity; many survivors (mostly new) are resting at street level. Barricading in the area is still fairly high considering the level of activity, and means are being taken to pull barricades down from unnecessary levels.

A note towards the barricade plan. Ackland auto will be VS for our low level members to enter even if its against the plan.--Keith 921 23:59, 9 December 2006 (UTC)

  • Tactical Area Rescue would like to point out that there is a new barricade plan in effect however low level characters as well as high level characters with construction seem to belive that a ESB building is the only safe building. we ask that people check the Barricade plan and please follow it if you see a building that does not comply with the plan and is not under siege. thank you

December 7th

TechCom has started a revive point on the western section of the suburb at the border of Buttonville and Wyke Hills at Wells Plaza.

The Black Knights have set up recruitment at Akland auto Repair shop. Also were is the radio tower thing for using mobiles.--Keith 921 16:04, 7 December 2006 (UTC)

  • The tower is Hitchens tower and our group Tactical Area Rescue keeps it running so there should always be a signal running.

November 31st

I would like to apologize for my very recent outburst on this page, the comments I made have been deleted from the wiki. in other news there have been several complaints that people at cemeteries and designated revive points keep getting killed and while we acknowledge not everyone follows the sacred ground policy the groups have requested that designated revive points be left alone.--Sharline Jade 04:57, 1 December 2006 (UTC)

November 28th

As much as I appreciate that this will inflate his already questionable ego, I feel it important to warn all citizens of Wyke Hills about yet another PKer who has returned to our fine suburb. His name is B D McSkeets, and he should be treated with extreme caution; if you see him, killing him would probably be a very good idea. Please do not revive him. Rest assured, your friends in the TAR, FoFST and Hartford Wrecking Crew will be doing their upmost to annhilate him on sight too -Sherwin, Fear of Fridays Street Team

The suburb is completely safe except for limited PK'ing. Come here if you want to stock up in the mall without fear of being a buffet. Ultre

JVDF News Flash - A Feral Undead spy was spotted in Wyke Hills near Buckley Mall. All groups are advised to stay alert as an invading horde may be heading our way soon - JVDF

November 26th

Attention B D McSkeets if you attempt to try anything in Wyke Hills your actions will be taken as hostile and will be dealt with accordingly. if T.A.R or any other group so much as hears anything about you, you will be hunted down and killed repeatedly. threats from the likes of you are not tolerated here in our humble suburb. you have been brought to the attention of all allied groups in Wyke and all have agreed to take any action necessary to stop you. You have been warned.--Sharline Jade 02:57, 27 November 2006 (UTC)

November 22nd

People please be aware that Craddock road is a revive point for the Fear of Fridays Street Team; on the walls of Craddock Road it clearly states that it is a revive point and is run by the FoFST. Zombies should be patient and wait as someone will be there soon as possible. But unfortunatly we have had a few issues today; one of our members was waiting there for a revive and he was attacked by two different people. The first realised the mistake, apologised and healed him, the second unfortunatly continued his attack and finished him off. Im a little upset because the person who killed him was shuppy369 of the Hartford Wrecking Crew, this is very sad as they are close allies of ours. Hopefully people will read this and the killing of zombies at revive points in Wyke Hills at Craddock Road and Knight Square can be stopped -Chip Chase of the FoFST EDIT: I'd like to apologize for Shuppy's actions - He's VERY new to the game and doesn't frequent the forums often. I assure you I'll advise him in person NOT to end any zeds at the revive points anymore. Again, my apologies, and thanks for understanding. --TastyBeverage 03:32, 27 November 2006 (UTC)

November 16th

Tactical Area Rescue would like to remind people that knight square is a revive point and any zed standing there should not be shot unless they are a rotter or have requested a revive via our forum or the DEM request a revive. Thank you. --Sharline Jade 06:11, 16 November 2006 (UTC)

November 15th

Just a few feral zombies roaming around the past couple days. One managed to get in the mall and infection ten people. Just more exp for the healers. The zombie rate in the suburb has left people so bored that they're PK'ing each other or getting the hell out of dodge from severe lack of anything to do. -Ultre

November 12th

We're having a few ferals breaking into the mall and area, but I don't see any standing zombies. Either their all laying dead until they attack or no one with a DNA extractor is going out and tapping these zombies. Using necrotech is pretty useless if no one does this, people.

November 11th

Wyke Hills is pretty calm today. No zombies standing for most of the day and a few feral who keep trying to get into the mall, but seem more interested than the generators than to feast on the sleeping inside. -Ultre

November 10th

Alright. If you are even remotely interested in the problem with overbarricading, please check out this link to a proposed barricade plan by Greenstreak from the HWC. It's still in revision, but is currently being debated by members of the HWC, TAR, and FoFST. http://wiki.urbandead.com/index.php/Image:CadeplanII.jpg --TastyBeverage 05:46, 11 November 2006 (UTC)

November 9th

All is pretty calm in Wyke Hills for the moment. Hardly any zombie attacks. On other news, STOP OVER BARRICADING THE ENTRY POINTS TO THE MALL YOU JACKASSES! Geeze! I got lucky and had to spend three hours before I could get into St. Emilia's church! People, PLEASE camp in the church and down the cades if it's above VB+2. X( -Ultre

November 6th

There is a serious problem with overbarricading that has only slightly eased off recently, as more 'zeds begin to trickle in to the suburb. EHB is good, but only if you use the bloody cade policy you f****** agoraphobes! Some of us actually go outside to take care of Wyke and need to get back in.. In other news, we still have a serious PKer problem. Please people, be intelligent and check groups before you revive! -Sherwin

The Craigie Building generator needs some fuel. -Ultre

November 3rd

I keep the cades at EB to give zombies a good, warm meal, but people keep taking them to VB+2 to let people get to safety. If this continues, we'll be forced to EB every building in Wyke for a month.

November 2nd

Hello! It's a clear, starry night here in south Wyke Hills, and here is the scouting report, brought to you by Tactical Area Rescue! My trip through South Wyke Hills was cut short due to some unplanned PKer hunting, but for the moment, here is the news.

  • Covering all the buildings in the rectangle with corners Shepherd Auto Repair and Club Golding, attention is needed at the following locations:
  • Generator out of fuel: Shepherd Auto Repair
  • Ransacked: the Wolfendall Arms.
  • PKers in: the Brookes Arms, Club Morris, St Dionysus's Church.
  • In the area: 5 injured survivors (scattered around).

October

October 31st

At least two zombies loose in the Cockayne police station after breaking down very strong barricades.

October 30th

Not too much to say really with regards to Wyke Hills; 'zed numbers are down to a trickle, break-ins extremely rare and mostly dont actually happen beyond reducing buildings down to 'loosely barricaded' status. As far as I know, PKing is starting to drop off too. We do have seem to have a problem with overbarricading though.. people need to recognize that entry points are required for those out on patrols and low-level characters without freerunning. The only real predators here are the PKers anyways, so its not like it'll actually acheive too much! -Sherwin

October 28th

I can make no guarantees as the U.S. ARMY INFANTRY is currently tied up in other suburbs, but I'll make a request to assist you from my C/O as soon as our current ops are complete (regarding Red Rum PK-ers). --Stickman 22:16, 28 October 2006 (BST)

The Fear of Fridays Street Team have arrived in Wyke Hills from Roachtown, to help the survivors and defense of the suburb here. We hope to see you all around, and to form alliances with the existing groups in the area! We'll be looking to start our own revivification point in the near future, and hope to provide considerable assistance to the survival effort as our soldiers begin to appear in larger numbers.. -Sherwin

October 18th

There's a new revive point proposed (and partially active) at the junkyard at [52, 94]. No signups are required, so hopefully the line won't get too long.-DanteSck 20:23, 18 October 2006 (BST)

  • Update: No longer active, sorry but we moved on for greener territories. Green as in zombies. --DanteSck 21:17, 23 October 2006 (BST)

September

September 27th

TAR is setting up a revive point at Knight Square [55, 95]. If zombified, please shamble over there and post a revive request on the revive request thread on our forum. Alternatively the cemetary 2S 1W of there could be a good place to wait, for random revivers from the mall. Please don't kill zombies at either of those locations. Myelin

September 21st

Wyke hills is once again safe from Zombie threat, though barricading is still a problem that were working on. The new group Tactical Area Rescue has gotten up finally and is doing there best to keep it a safe place for all survivors. Also a thanks goes out to the Randoms for helping us get started. Burp! Sorry I just had 3 survivor heads on the half shell 1 NW of Hitchens Towers. Hope that recon work helped. I encourage all fellow brain eaters in the Wyke Hills area to concentrate their efforts around Hitchens Towers (disable mobile phones), CockayneGrove PD (weapons and ammo), and Ephrem General Hospital (FAKs). This will greatly hamper new survivors and migrateing survivors. Let the Big Bash and larger groups of fellow brain eaters have the mall. Concentrate and devour! Gang Bang Harmans! Harman Gang Bang! -I Eat Poontang-

I'm still at Eprem, and we now number 15 or so. We've secured a number of buildings around us and have been doing extensive recon work. Our next goal is to revive all the folks at East Greyside's Wicklen Monument (60,89, which is ~3NE of here). The problem is, there are zeds to the SW (back towards Buckley -- which would mean that if we press forward, we stand to lose what we've gained so far), and there are zed occupiers in all the obvious tactical points around Wicklen. I've informed the folks at Wicklen to head SW if they can for revives, but I could still use some advice here.Colonel al

August

August 31st

Update 15:50 EST I've sent a message to Colonel Al, Zankuro, Sanshiro, Coolo, etc. asking you all to get in contact with Johnny_Lunchpail of the U.S. ARMY INFANTRY. Check your talk pages for details. We've got some resources now, we just need to communicate. --Stickman 20:51, 31 August 2006 (BST)

I am still at Ephrem General Hospital (93, 58) 4 of us are holding the place and nearby warehouse. It is taking a bit longer than expected to truly secure this area before moving on (the same 5 zeds keep coming back and make us waste AP fixing 'cades.). Plus, we need a revive specialist from Buckley to join us and to go north to the revive point and empty it out for us (and give us more people to fight with). Another few days (faster, if Stickman can bring help), and we'll begin preparations for our second move to the NE and Blesley.

Coolo and company -- if Ephrem Hospital falls again, we have also secured the warehouse 1SE as a fallback position. Just make sure that anybody you have with you has free running, because we have the warehouse at EHB. Colonel al

August 30th

In a scout across the neighborhood, fewer than 40 zombies were spotted outside. While the area from Hitchin Towers to Ephrem Hospital was hot with the majority of zombies and several open buildings, most of the neighborhood was fairly quiet.

August 29th

Ok I need help Colonel Al the cades are down at the hosiptal that we were assigned to go at zombies over taken it no hope for revives and I am asking for help to fend off an zerg Hunter named linheart if you see her please kill her but before that know that she is a character and with Bobby Bear and Old Dirty Bastard are just a jumble of people who want me dead due to the war that I set on them and all the zerg hunters are hunting us for no reason or just me Cooloo hasn't told me anything yet on his postition yet.--Coolo 03:49, 30 August 2006 (BST)

(12:30PM EST)I am at Ephrem General Hospital (93, 58) right now and have prepared 'cades and such for additional forces headed toward Blesley. I will recon the area a bit more this evening. I should mention that I took "construction" instead of "diagnosis" for my latest training upgrade, since I heard that maintaining the 'cades at Blesley was a problem for Stickman. So, if you need heals, you'll have to let me know directly since I can't diagnose yet.

BTW, I've noticed that the local zeds are quite skilled, compared to the area humans. In a 1:1 battle, they have us clearly outmatched.Colonel al

All further updates by me will be posted on the Buckley Mall page. --Stickman 16:17, 29 August 2006 (BST)

August 23rd

Any dead survivors from Blesley Mall (Gulsonside) are encouraged to come here to Buckley Mall. There is a massive revive effort underway and revive times are very good. Stick around for a bit, help rebuild Buckley, then we can return to Gulsonside together and take it back! This area has become very stable lately. --Stickman 19:52, 23 August 2006 (BST)

August 14th

In a scout across the neighborhood, ~100 zombies were spotted. Large concentration at and around the mall, but other scattered dangerous spots as well, especially at police stations. There are some relatively safe areas. Most buildings are barricaded, but many are open.

The suburb has cleaned itself up. Local groups such as Saint D's and Fanny are rebuilding the area. Buckley Mall is being restored, but is still a target for feral Zombies in the area.

July

The suburb is devastated, with nearly all buildings wide open and large crowds at cemeteries. Those seeking revives are advised to move to a more secure suburb such as Gulsonside.

June

June 23rd

Another zombie horde has moved through Buttonville and is currently laying seige to Buckley Mall, putting an end to a quiet period in our little suburb. The southwest portion of Wyke Hills can expect to see the hundred or so zombies involved in this attack ruin our tastefully decorated barricades. This was later discovered to be the starting wave of The Big Bash.

June 16th

Rejoice Citizens! B D McSkeets has suffered his final and permanent death thus liberating you all from his rule. Fear not though, a new leader will emerge! This leader was selected by McSkeets and will claim the throne of Wyke Hills when he is ready. Farewell all, I had a good run for my money

B D McSkeets, founder of the Kangs, wishes to open communications with all factions currently operating out of Wykes Hills. In addition, McSkeets also wishes to extend his assistance to all un-grouped citizens in Wykes and invite anyone to request aid from the Kangs.

May 10th

Most of the zombies around Hitchens Towers have left, there are only a few stragglers in the immediate area. Later in the day: A mass of zombies ransacked the Cockayne Police Department. They're still there and more are coming.

May 9th

Small groups of zombies are cropping up around Hitchens Towers. The zombies are coming from the north, and probably were involved in the assaults upon West Grayside. There is a possibility of an attack on the cellphone tower mast.

May 8th

Zombie breakin at Julie General Hospital. If you can help. Please get there asap

January

January 12th

The Zeds are slowly gathering dead bodies are piling up by the mall. Likely to be a target for the Mall Tour 06 group any day now - 1/12/06

Buckley Mall is safe. The suburb has low levels of zombies throughout, but most safehouses are still somewhat safe. Newbies should avoid this area due to the unpredictable nature of the zombies around this area.
