The Malton suburb of Wyke Hills presents an intriguing tale for those who are probing into the actions of NecroTech at the beginning of the outbreak. As far as I can tell, there are at least 5 NecroTech outposts in the area.

In the early stages of the outbreak, the military initially set up the area as one of the designated quarantine points for those who wished to exit Malton. Numerous buses shuttled people who were not expected to have been exposed to the designated zone located near St. Maximillian's Church. Those scheduled to be evacuated were given Agent 51, in an attempt to cleanse the disease from their system.

However, barely two weeks after the inception of the quarantine zone, a man who had taken the serum died naturally of a heart attack. Before he could be buried, he rose and began to attack humans in the encampment. From what I can gather, NecroTech leaders convinced the area commandant to order his soldiers to fire into the crowd.

Every person awaiting evacuation was slain, and the suburb was quickly declared a no-man's-land. However, there are reports of members of Malton's upper class being allowed to leave the city without the quarantine period.
