Not nerfing

"a vital part of many groups' gameplay is propaganda and (mis)information. Don't nerf this. If you want to, you can always choose to ignore radio messages"

This suggestion would not nerf the messages. Instead, it would allow the players to find out where this information was coming from, and deal with it as they see fit. Interestingly, it would add an element of responsibility that current game mechanics do not afford. If one wishes to spend their time and AP hunting down propaganda, (mis)information, or spa - then that should be there choice. --Ryiis 19:20, 11 September 2007 (BST)

It doesnt stop misinformation or propoganda. It just gives survivors a tool against it, if they put in a bit of effort and co-ordination. There is nothing fundamentally wrong with putting out propoganda, but it should carry some element of risk. If the broadcaster does not want a nasty shock, they had better not be broadcasting from one location only. As for PKing, I feel that this skill will benefit a group better than lone players, as a group will be able to share data and triangulate a position much faster. --Jay Barco 09:45, 12 September 2007 (BST)

Yes, but you already have the ability to filter out unreliable sources of information. Last I checked you were able to ignore broadcasts not made by your group.--Karekmaps?! 21:05, 12 September 2007 (BST)
No - you cannot do this, you are thinking about feeding groans. --Jay Barco 09:03, 13 September 2007 (BST)
Look, just turn it to listen to your handheld and set that to the military frequency, problem solved. Or use a mobile phone.--Karekmaps?! 21:08, 13 September 2007 (BST)
