You are standing inside the Food Court of Caiger Mall. The tables and chairs are overturned and disorganized. The food vendors are all dark. Also here are Ross (60HP), Doug D. Renolds (56HP), Jen (49HP), Izzy (50HP) and Tammy (38HP). The floors and walls are splashed with fresh blood.
Somebody has carved R + H 4ever with a heart around it onto a table. The couple is most definitely dead.
There is a lone monster here.
- You improvise, wedging your shoulder right behind the table (and you were already very wedged against the table, this may become sore later, something to think about) and then you take your knife from your belt and stick your hand straight out in a bayonet. Except, of course, you aren't using a rifle with a pointy end on the end (prudent choice). It's your arm, and things might hurt a lot in just a moment. And that moment has already come; the monster is upon you.

- • Doug D. Renolds swings the butt-end of his rifle at the monster. It snaps off, and the man is shoved aside. (now)
