You are standing inside the Food Court of Caiger Mall. The tables and chairs are overturned and disorganized. The food vendors are all dark. Also here are Ross (48HP), Doug D. Renolds (56HP), Jen (49HP), Izzy (50HP) and Tammy (38HP). The floors and walls are awash with fresh blood and gore.
Somebody has carved R + H 4ever with a heart around it onto a table. The couple is most definitely dead.
There is a large dead form here.
- You lunge, piercing the monster through its rib cage. It's not so tough, after making itself vulnerable. Like any other walking dead. Completely normal. You stab again, its limbs whack at you weakly and uselessly, the monster having lost too much blood. You keep hacking at it, until its chest is more of a cavity than torso. Finally, the monster collapses, dead.
Everyone is surprised, most of all you. You approach your kill, nudging it slightly with your foot. The odd muscle spasm, or two, but it really is dead.
Since your last turn:

- • Silence happens (now)
- • Your friends move from their hiding spots to see if the monster is really dead. Which it is. Not one of those annoying clichés where the bad guy keeps getting back up, even after been shot to bits, slashed and then hacked to savagely by the crazy hero. (now)
