You are standing inside the Food Court of Caiger Mall. The tables and chairs are overturned and disorganized. The food vendors are all dark. Also here are Ross (60HP), Doug D. Renolds (56HP), Jen (49HP), Izzy (50HP) and Tammy (38HP). The floors and walls are flecked with fresh blood.
Somebody has carved R + H 4ever with a heart around it onto a table. The couple is most definitely dead.
There is a lone monster here.
- You run towards Tammy to help her, but the monster is too close. Instead, you place yourself next to one of the many unconvincing fake plants decorating the Food Court. You wonder what has given the monster such an unhealthy interest in Tammy, but for now you are invisible and irrelevant to the thing, and that is relatively pleasant.
You take out your pistol. The monster continues as before, advancing on Tammy. It takes little heed of the bullets hitting it, not even swatting at them like flies. The thing only progresses.
