I had felt since early to mid 2009 that I was bored with pking and that this side of the game was finished in terms of further accomplishment, but I still kept my contacts and surveillance running on individuals for certain times when the buzz came back. I realised that on a few occasions I had perhaps overstepped the mark in my personal behaviour, on one or two occasions excitement caused me to verbally overstep the mark with The Fortress and my protection of a certain bounty hunter whilst good willed was probably unfair on said character as it perhaps reduced an element of danger for them which they had not asked for. | ||
So I made a decision to resign as "head of The Red Shirts" and I recommended dismantling of group and of characters (they were attracting heavy resistance from locals) and if they wished they could restart under a new banner. Initially this was a success but a recent meeting with Harry Paget Flashman in Pashenton suggests they plan to rise up again (with nothing to do with me!) More to follow later on this. | |||
I started what I coined one final quest, a quest to find a new home and a group that would take me.
