Post Mortem Animation Control
Helping Malton to Rise Again!
We are a privately operated but dedicated team formed to scour the streets of the Re-Animated.
- P.M.A.C was founded in 2004 by private investors concerned with rumoured experimentation into the Re-Animation of human corpses. Recruitment of those with existing military experience accelerated the training programme, allowing units to be deployed during the first out-breaks of the NT virus.
- Tactics have been honed after the lessons learnt in these engagements leading to the formation of small autonomous units, capable of operating independantly of Command structures for long periods of time.
- P.M.A.C Agents are expected to coordinate with other P.M.A.C forces operating in the deployment zone if encountered.
- A high level of cooperation is encouraged with any civil and military formations operating within the Teams area of influence.
Thank you for your interest.
Standing Operating Procedure
P.M.A.Cs S.O.P is to insert a small team into the deployment zone, which will then establish an Operational Command Post (O.C.P.). Reinforcements can be assigned by the P.M.A.C Strategy and Tactics Executive (S.T.E). Insertion is almost exclusively by air on the basis that there has yet to be a verifiable encounter with any re-animated (hence forth referred to as "R.As") able to use surface-to-air missiles. Ground insertion is only usually carried out in low-level or unconfirmed outbreaks in rural areas, when rapid and highly mobile striking power is not economically viable.
On the whole, mission aims and objectives are assigned by on site commanders of the I.I.T (see below) upon successful insertion into the infection site and the establishing of an O.C.P. It is important to be aware however that the company does ask all I.I.T Commanders to be aware of the following:
- Post insertion, weapons and equipment will be On Site Procurement (O.S.P).
- Ammunition and supplies will not be air dropped into urban centres due to the risk of these items falling into the hands of unauthorised personal.
- The Agents themselves have been trained extensively to procure additional equipment through Selective Asset Realisation Missions (S.A.R.Ms - Not to be confused with looting) into the area surrounding the O.C.P
- P.M.A.C Operates autonomous units entirely self contained and independant of one another in order to maintain operational integrity should any operative or team be compromised.
- Units are not expected to maintain regular contact with its Regional Command Posts (R.C.Ps).
Medical assistance including Med-Evac is not available to teams inserted into heavily built up areas. Closely packed buildings and the presence of armed survivors make aerial extraction prohibitively dangerous. There have been instances of extraction V-22's coming under attack from survivors trying to hijack the aircraft. Aircraft Commanders are authorised to fire on private citizens attempting to gain access to the crew compartment at their discression, obviously this is to be avoided unless absolutely necessary. VTOL extraction is only available once the situation on the ground becomes irretrievable.
Team Composition
The Initial Insertion Team (I.I.T) is usually composed of two Tactical Operations Agents (T.O.As), one Medical Officer (M.O) and one Security Liaison Agent (S.L.A). Where possible a Reconnaissance & Intelligence Agent (R.I.A) will be assigned.
T.O.A
- A Tactical Operations Agent, or T.O.A will be in the front line of any clean-up operation and as such receive extensive training in the field of firearms handling, F.I.S.H (Fighting In Someones House - Urban Warfare), S.A.R.Ms, and Counter R.A warfare. T.O.As are often former members of the Armed Forces or Law Enforcement Armed Response Units.
S.L.A
- A Security Liaison Agent, or S.L.A is assigned to a T.O.A pairing during the initial phase of training and will often remain with them for the duration of teams active career. The S.L.As primary responsibility is to handle contact with survivors and civilians encountered during an outbreak and as such their training focuses more heavily on crisis management and diplomacy. The S.L.A will often accompany the T.O.As on combat sweeps provided the O.C.P is adequately protected.
M.O
- Medical Officers, or M.Os are typically former Paramedics or Army Medics, assigned to a T.O.A pairing during the initial phase of training. M.Os have an extensive knowledge of triage and R.A biology, in the field an M.Os primary concern is the medical welfare to team members and survivors. In rare circumstances M.Os may be required to return samples of R.A gene structure to R.C.Ps for study.
R.I.A
- Reconnaissance & Intelligence Agent, or R.I.A, these men are members of P.M.A.Cs Special Assignment Reconnaissance & Intelligence Network (S.A.R.I.N) and as such are adept at camouflage and concealment in almost any environment as well as unconventional entry and signals. R.I.As are typically only assigned for the duration of an assignment, and may well be operating in areas without the knowledge of other P.M.A.C Operatives.
Equipment
Firearms
Team Members are issued with Smith and Wesson 686 Plus .357 Magnums as standard due to its excellent R.A take-down capabilities, other weaponary can be issued from stores dependent on threat and cooperation of Government in deployment area. All Teams are expected to conduct O.S.P and S.A.R.Ms as part of their S.O.P.
- Team Members are permitted to operate their own firearm with prior permission of their Superior Officers
Communications
All Team Members are issued with SEM 52sl Radios for coordination both within the Team and with other local forces operating in the contamination zone. In the event of Radio Equipment failure, use of local radios obtained through O.S.P is expected.
Tactical Gear
BDU's will be issued appropriate to the deployment zone, T.O.As operating within Malton are issued with Digital Urban Camouflage BDUs. Load Bearing Vests (L.B.Vs) issued according to each individual operatives preferences, so variance is to be expected between Agents. S.L.As are typically issued with less overtly military apparel to lessen the concerns of civilians encountered in the deployment zone.
