I think you should fix it. It's broken and players (mostly dirty survivor players, I'll add) are using it to get ahead. Maybe if you make it blue text instead of pink the problem will go away? You should cut out those links on the map because that pretty much resets everything back to square one... --•▬ ▬••▬ • •••• •▬ ▬•▬• ▬•▬ #nerftemplatedsigs 23:03, 16 December 2010 (UTC)

Bug Report

So, I was checking the game updates on this page, and I noticed that you mentioned you had fixed the issue with players being able to jump to the end of the game. I don't know if you're aware of this, but it's actually still possible to jump to the end of the game.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Follow this link.
  2. Scroll to the bottom of the page
  3. Click the pink text that says "The End"

I think you should fix it. It's broken and players (mostly dirty survivor players, I'll add) are using it to get ahead. Maybe if you make it blue text instead of pink the problem will go away? Or maybe you could fix it by <total nonsense idea that has no applicability whatsoever>. And I think that you should add <totally worthless idea>. Want to be Facebook friends? I have lots of good idea to make your game better! Aichon 00:03, 15 June 2012 (BST)

I fixed the fixing of that bug fix to incorporate a finite chapter, 49.2, to correspond to the End. Since the End can never be reached despite going towards it, its infinite, thus giving the chapter a finite value means that it isn't really the End. So, it's a fake link. And, I don't actually do Facebook anymore... and I've never done Google+. But... good ideas, yes? what are they? :) --  AHLGTG THE END IS NIGH! 01:35, 15 June 2012 (BST)
Ohhhhh, I get it. Kinda like Xena's paradox! I don't know why the warrior princess had a paradox named after her, but whatever.
For ideas, have you thought about adding...wait for it...machine guns to the game?! You totally should. And other characters too would be cool. And maybe like a boss monster, kinda like Resident Evil! Also, graphics. More of them. Now. Aichon 02:40, 15 June 2012 (BST)
Ross has a machine gun. You don't, yet. It's a progression. There will be other characters (the ones on the whiteboards in Pridmore exist in they game, though whether they are alive or dead is unsaid). I thought about making pictures for buildings (so adding a "Look at the building" action, or something, and a picture would come up), but I can't draw. I'm planning to include more maps, however. Those are graphical. And boss monsters... sometime. --  AHLGTG THE END IS NIGH! 03:20, 15 June 2012 (BST)

Just to be clear, that last comment of mine and the one before it were meant to be tongue-in-cheek. I intentionally picked things you had already added (NPCs, boss) or things that would take away from the game (graphics, machine guns) while trying to play the stereotypical fan of a game who thinks he knows what's best for it better than the game's creator. That's a pretty awesome tech demo of your upcoming graphical overhaul! Why weren't you at E3 last week? You could've blown Microsoft out of the water with a showing like that! And Assassin's Creed has nothing on you. Aichon 05:55, 15 June 2012 (BST)
I'm too good for E3, and they'd steal my idea for stick man line spacing, which adds a greater range of motion (the animation doesn't get "stuck"). So, I go to, uh, G3 (standing for Gnome Gnome Gnome). --  AHLGTG THE END IS NIGH! 06:06, 15 June 2012 (BST)
The way I see it, if cel-shading is awesome because it's like taking things back to cartoon animation, then what you're doing is insanely awesome because it's taking it all the ways back to cave art.
