Description

History

Built in 1956 by a private organization, it's aim was to provide a free learning center to the surrounding area. It went bankrupt in September of 1992. The building and contents were auctioned and all bought by a private collector. He replaced the books and renovated the building. He then surrounded it with an iron fence. Paranoid, the collector stashed shotguns and rifles with ammunition everywhere. A month before the Quarantine began, he simply packed up and left. Since, all weapons and ammunition have been looted, but most of the shelves still hold their written contents. There are rumors that the paranoid owner forsaw the outbreak and quarantine, and had a basement fortress constructed, with an armory, power generator, water distillor, and several metric tonnes of non-perishable food. Even if it were true, the collector most likely sealed it, or destroyed it's contents. Past survivors, long dead or reanimated, have eliminated any tracs of the storehouse's existance (or non-existance), and the rumours will stay at that - rumours.
