A fire-damaged white-stone building which has partially collapsed., accessible chiefly via Salvage Row.

History

Zombies, survivors all enjoy the edgy atmosphere.

Club Bartin was for three decades the focal point of Stanbury Village's vibrant music scene. Although the Village itself could seem staid and posh, the Club was an island of counter-culture, often years ahead of other clubs in Malton.

As well as its legendary theme nights, bands frequently gigged here. Frequent visitors included Bad Brains, The Cramps, Thousand Yard Stare and Mother Love Bone. Spinal Tap [1] were due to begin their comeback tour here, but were prevented from doing so by the Malton Incident.
