| Most buildings fully comliant with the barricade plan. Still some zombies around the suburb but all resource buildings safe. Most are powered. Hostpitals, Police Stations, the Necrotech facility, and the phone mast are all in survivor hands. Cell phone communications are restored. Not many survivors, but sufficient numbers to counter the current threats.

| Attack on all fronts of the suburb. All resource building under attack or taken. Pask building destroyed. About 50 zoms out on the streets, about equal numbers inside buildings. Recomend retreat to other suburbs for regroup and revives.

| Dakerstown went down the drain again, for the living at least. All of the south ruined, the north most likely as well. Very many zombies, very few survivors. Smyg 21:49, 22 June 2011 (BST)

| ===March===

| ====March 29<sup>th</sup>====
| |
| There's been a sudden and coordinated surge in zombie attacks. Survivor defenses have crumpled in a matter of hours. Zombies have broken into and occupied multiple buildings simultaneously. Only the northeast of the suburb remains intact, and it won't last long. Human inhabitants' chances of making it through this are slim. --Jenkem 21:46, 29 March 2011 (BST)

| |
| ====March 27<sup>th</sup>====
| |
| Most of the suburb is safe, with some exceptions. North-east having some minor breakins every now and then, nothing serious. The vicinity of the Pask Building is under attack by ferals, with the NT itself under zombie control. South-west would have been perfectly safe, with all resource buildings barricaded and fueled, if not for several Neo-Nazi zergs attacking the Swearse Lane Police Department. | ====March 16th====
| |
| There has been an uptick in zombie activity in western and southern Dakerstown. Resource buildings are experiencing occasional break-ins, and St. Bartholomew's Hospital is ruined. Northern and northeastern Dakerstown remain safe for human habitation. Watch out for overbarricading in the safe areas. --Jenkem 05:34, 17 March 2011 (UTC)

| ====March 6<sup>th</sup>====

| The north and north-west now confirmed as safe. Mobile phone mast now powered, and pretty much the entire south-western corner is as well. The Swearse Lane Police Department fell for a brief and unguarded moment, but was quickly retaken. Unsure about the Pask Building, but the rest of the suburb is definitely safe, with only a few ferals here and there. Smyg 12:55, 6 March 2011 (UTC)

| |
| ====March 4<sup>th</sup>====
| |
| Since March 1st, I've scouted most of the suburb. Only the north-western corner remains to be checked. The centre and south-western quarter is entirely intact, held by a small but growing survivor population, with most of the buildings having gennies installed and fueled. No barricade levels observed below VHB. The suburb's only revive point is empty. The only case of zombie activity I have observed is in and around the Pask Building, where both sides are continuously losing control.

Dakerstown, AKA "Suburb One," is a suburb of Malton, located at the northwest corner of the city.
Dakerstown was the site of some of the first zombie-human interaction, as both zombies and humans initially gravitated towards the corners of the city. Some of this action (on the part of the zombies) was coordinated via the mailing list, and was thus an early example of metagaming.
Dakerstown is also notable as it was the last suburb to discover the location of its mobile phone mast and was the first to be given the classification of Ghost Town.
Dakerstown is a suburb that has seen a lot of action. It has a long history of conflict between the Imperial War Machine and communist groups. It is currently a battleground between the Urban Guerillas, FUACK, and their allies on the side of communism and other leftist ideologies, Extinction on the zombie side, and the IWM for fascism, with significant numbers of unaligned players.

Fun things to do!
- Join the revolution - Notable as being the reddest suburb in Malton, with a long tradition of socialism, anarchism and anti-fascism, the Dakerstown Republic is an excellent place for anyone in the mood for a workers' revolution.
- Read a book - With the above average five libraries, Dakerstown is no doubt a good place catch up on some much delayed reading. Education is always nice. A bit of Marx and Engels, perhaps?
- Improve your Marksmanship - Dakerstown has four police stations, and plenty of targets just waiting to be filled with hot lead. So what are you waiting for? Pick up a gun and start shooting!
- Visit the end - Come see Bird Boulevard, the end - or beginning, depending on who you ask - of Malton. As the most northern-western corner of Suburb One, this street has the coordinates [00,00].
Revive Points
FUACK has designated a junkyard (6,7) (1 NW of the Pask NT Building) as an indoor revive point. The adjacent Leeworthy Park (6,8) is also used as an RP, particularly in the event that the junkyard (6,7) is barricaded.
The Urban Knight's also use a junkyard (6,7) (1 NW of the Pask NT Building) as an indoor revive point. They will tear down barricades if it is barricaded up.
