Gibsonton is a suburb of Malton, located in the northeast section of the city. One of the more important buildings within the suburb is Oram Walk PD, which was considered one of the most prominent safe houses in the early days following the initial outbreak. Home of St. Matthew's Cathedral. Gibsonton came to the public's attention during the Imperium Must Die invasion of April 2008 and has since been a target for PKers.

Before the Outbreak, Gibsonton was a depressing working class district, with several factories and warehouses. A Cathedral had long stood that served the workers who lived here, and a number of pubs opened up to give them a place to chill after a long day of work. After the 1980s, few factories remained, and the local officials turned to tax incentives for white collar jobs and tourism, the latter which centered around the beautiful Cathedral and newly opening museums as attractions. The pubs continued to make good business, now with higher prices for the tourists, but the pub-owners maintained lower prices for the blue-collar locals, who would mug the tourists and confess their vices the next morning in the Cathedral.

November

November 23rd

Gibsonton is somewhat "luckier" than its neighbors that the MOB chose to avoid it, going from Rolt Heights to Dunningwood to Paynterton instead. But that doesn't mean they can't turn back to attack it in full force in the near future.

Also, that doesn't stop local zombies from wreaking havoc by themselves, as evidently in their recent attack on the Ducat Building. Survivors inside are fighting eight zombies without a generator and with minimal barricades. -- Kittithaj 10:31, 23 November 2009 (UTC)

UPDATE: There are now 25 zombies inside Ducat and only 6 survivors left. It's gone by this point. -- Kittithaj 19:51, 23 November 2009 (UTC)
The Ducat Building is filled with 15+ zombies, roughly 9 dead bodies. To my immediate knowledge, the nearby hospital has been overrun as well. Survivors might consider retreating to Spracklingbank. -- Benjamin Adlam 3:00, 23 November 2009

November 21st

The Suburb's northern half is starting to resemble other suburbs to the north, with many zombie break-ins and mobs in the teens and above, including those 16 currently in Oram Walk Police Department. The Canner Building and The Patterson Building are down. --Lord Hawthorne 22:23, 21 November 2009 (UTC)

November 18th

As the MOB is ravaging towards Southern area of Rolt Heights, the Northern Gibsonton border starts to feel the pressure. Their vanguard is already in the suburb. And a few buildings have already gone down. Be prepared for the main bulk soon. -- Kittithaj 01:43, 19 November 2009 (UTC)

St. John's hospital has 6 zeds inside. --RevEngEspc 07:05, 20 November 2009 (UTC)
St. Aidan's hospital had 11 zombies inside last time I checked. Things look pretty grim for us right now.--TravisGrady 07:35, 20 November 2009 (UTC)

November 17th

The Canner Building was attacked and ruined by a group of about 10 zombies. Survivors seeking revive should move out of Germain Way until it is restored. The Patterson Building is down, as well. -- Kittithaj 21:01, 17 November 2009 (UTC)
