The Department of Emergency Management is currently looking for volunteers from all across Malton to join one of the groups working together in the DEM:

Since the resurrection of the MFD, we have stood vigilant; seeking to bring relief and support to the citizens of Malton as effectively as we can. Regardless of your class, or what level you are, there are groups organized through the DEM that can fit your character! We also provide training for all new DEM recruits at The Academy.

See the DEM Recruitment Page for more information or contact us on Discord

The DEM currently has over 15 active members working for the benefit of survivors. If you want to make a difference in the fight for Malton, consider joining a DEM group today!

The Council of the Living- A coalition dedicated to organizing operations to improve the quality of life in Malton; not limited to so called "pro-survivors."

Similar to previous ideas designed to unite survivor groups, except that:

1- shall not exclude known PKers, except where they are considered to have abused the coalition to achieve the end of murder
2- shall not impose ANY policies on members, nor allow for the imposition of rules beyond rules of order relating specifically to the organizing of the coalition (for example; denying access to individuals who abuse the coalition, while being barred from banning behavior such as murder altogether to members of the coalition).
3- shall involve voting only to such an extent as is required to conduct Council business in an orderly fashion, that is, votes shall always specifically regard an aspect of council business (such as whether a person is considered to have abused the coalition, and should therefore be denied access).
4- shall not involve distinction between members and leaders. Those votes which do occur shall be directly democratic, not representatively.

In short, the Council should govern only itself, leaving full sovereignty to members, who may be independent or members of groups, and who are represented precisely to the extent that they choose to represent themselves- no more, no less. The primary purpose would be to issue calls for help in a fashion which is simple for members to attend to, to help organize survivor activity and facilitate better cross-group coordination.
