Lockettside Boys (LoBo)

The Lockettside Boys are a rag tag gang of survivors that have dedicated their lives to the protection of their suburb, as well as one another. Lockettside is their home and they will die protecting it, several times if required. Respect the suburb and you will have no trouble from the LoBo as you walk upon it.Those who help fight to protect it are forever considered a friend and will always be able to count on the Lockettside Boys for aid. The undead is their primary target, being the largest threat, though anyone caught slaying the living will be brought to a quick end and thrown out to live amongst those they serve.

There is no form of rank in the Lockettside Boys, they do have their established leaders, but their power doesn't stretch much beyond keeping the men informed of situations and progress in events. Everyone fights together no matter the differences between those in the group. Members know their purpose, whatever it may be, and are simply asked to do it to the best of their abilities.

Recruitment Policy

Anyone can join the Lockettside Boys whether they are a level 1 or level 40. All classes are welcome since everyone can serve a purpose in some way or another. All that is asked of a person when joining is their loyalty to those in the group. If you want to join, then you join, no paperwork or the permission of one of the members needed. The Lockettside Boys are more a family then a gang of survivors, all for one and one for all, and when a new family member is born you must accept them with open arms.

News

February 22 09 -- The LoBo's have been busy at Marven mall and other areas in the suburb beating zombie ass and reciting poetry. So if you feel like kicking ass in a classy refined kind of fashion head on over to Club Frankland and say hi.--Harvey Goolap 20:45, 22 February 2009 (CST)

October 12 08 -- Although no longer concentrating on stadiums the LoBo's Karaoke tour has been resurrected (rather like some of its members at times) and is now kicking off a new leg starting at Buttery Row School in Ridleybank. All are welcome no matter your singing ability. We just ask that you bring your own beer as we definately don't have enough for all of Malton.--Fausta Gummings 01:18, 12 October 2008 (BST)

September 22 08 --The LoBos newspaper tag event has been and continues to be a huge success! Although there are only three participants and it makes getting "un it" a little challenging, (you can't tag back the person that tagged you) the zest and gusto demonstrated by everyone is truly moving. Later updates on the medal ceremony when we figure out how this ends..--Harvey Goolap 10:45, 22 September 2008 (CST)

June 26 08 --The LoBo's Malton Stadium Karaoke tour was postponed mid tour because of Barrville being totally screwed up. As the local Zed population seemed unhappy with our song choices, we will continue when we are able to keep Floyde Stadium powered for more than 12 seconds.--Harvey Goolap 13:11, 26 June 2008 (CST)

May 07 08 --The LoBo's are looking to begin constructing Zombie proof armor made from recycled crap found around Malton. The initial planning meeting will take place in Club Frankland this weekend and will include copious amounts of questionable substances and alcohol. It also looks like the get to know you/icebreaker part of the meeting will involve an air guitar contest, hope to see you there.--Harvey Goolap 16:15, 7 May 2008 (CST)

April 08 08 --The Lockettside Boys are just as active as ever and are looking for new recruits. Due to the recent zombie activity our weekly salsa and samba based combat lessons have been postponed until more interest is shown. However, we are still practicing karaoke and drunken target practice every Thursday at Club Frankland.--Harvey Goolap 15:08, 8 April 2008 (CST)

July 08 07 --this Michael Softwood. I'm trying to find the leader of the St. John's EMTs so that I can join up with their ranks. Any help you could offer would be of great assistance. I have a radio tuned to the LoBo frequency. Feel free to contact me at any time.--Michael Softwood 07:49, 8 July 2007 (BST)

April 06 07 --This is Izumi Orimoto of the Lockettside Valkyries. I was wondering how you guys are doing since the Tour 07 invasion, as we could really use some support up by Thompson. Feel free to join our forum. [[1]]

January 13 07 -- I just today went northwest to Wykewood to visit our neighbors the Josephine's Generals and found one of their hospitals under attack by nearly a dozen undead. Since they have been long standing allies of the LoBo I ask that anyone who can spare the time and firepower to aid them would be of great help. Thanks. -- Joe Riggs 22:04, 13 January 2007 (UTC)

January 10 07 -- Good news LoBo members! The LL has started a Forum. Please sign up and get involved so we can continue to make Lockettside a better place. -- Joe Riggs 23:00, 10 January 2007 (UTC)

January 06 07 -- I hope everyone is having a good new year, I am! I was happy to see today that the LoBo is still on the confirmed group listing at 12 members, we are the dirty dozen, lol. Also, I wanted to inform all members that we are working towards strengthening Lockettside with the creation of the Legions of Lockettside alliance. Together with our friends and allies we will be able to improve Lockettside ten fold. -- Joe Riggs 19:57, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
