March 2010

We're off to see the wizard, the wonderful wizard of Oz. Ta-da folks, you've been a great audience, but it's time to take to the road and evangelise the cause to the wider populace. If you want to tag along, just follow the yellow brick road (which are we are painting steadily red). South south south... For the record, the April Fools Pantomime collectively took out close to 40 clones and some pigs (no one keeps records on bacon slices, sadly) in 3 weeks--Ma'nbagz 07:21, 20 April 2010 (BST)

16 August 2007 News Discussion

In fact it wouldn't be a stretch to suspect an almost ACTIVE campaign of overbarricading and failing to assist survivors in need. Negligence amounts to malice in a time of crisis, after all... The following video clip shows a wounded, recently revived and infected survivor being ignored by passing membes of the Warriors gang -- who then proceed to overbarricade the building and move on -- thus barring chances of further aid. [1] --WanYao 04:48, 16 August 2007 (BST)
Before you demonise us, consider the following. How are we to know that the survivor is infected, or recently revived? We dont, and neither does anyone other than the one survivor. And how many people do you heal in a day, when conditions are as grim as they are? You might almost say that we kept that person alive by barricading around him. Dont paint us as the enemy here. We've been attempting to keep a safehouse running for a long time now, when the rest of the suburb has gone to pieces - and there are plenty of entrypoints (EVERYTHING) around, as you just said (the ransacked buildings). So excuse us for attempting to keep one of the key ammunition supply areas safe, when both the nearby malls are gone - The Warriors
The reason the survivor was ignored and barricaded in was he was a zed!!! Obviously he'd been combat revived and was breaking down barricades, and more than likely spying on the survivors inside (which has been common practice around our way for along time). Why would we bother using our AP and supply's on a zed when our human population needed it more. Hostilefish (The Warriors)

seriously, kids... it's all -- mostly -- in good fun. though it **is** frustrating as hell to be down to 4 HP, infected, practically praying for someone to come along and help your character... who *is* played as an opportunitst btw though it's not your responsibility to know that... every burb where he's been revived has been the same: quick death as a human... then i log on an see what i saw, annoyance is a natural response... but whatever, no big deal, and not worth cluttering the News section over.

...but, the news report as it stands now, minus the trash-talking *is* accurate, IMO.

...and, i do happen to think the Warriors' group characterisation is worthy of a nice hearty in (and out of) character guffaw. ;P anyway, peace and happy 'cading! --WanYao 19:16, 16 August 2007 (BST)

No hard feelings dude! But next time you wander through our turf and are in serious need of medical attention, visit our forum http://z6.invisionfree.com/The_Warriors_Home/index.php? and request it. We are more than willing to help those in need and if we can we will. But these are hard times, and we are out numbered heavily. Thankfully we are holding our own but only just. Hostilefish The Warriors

Well BB is a zed again, and he'll play that way... till he's rezzed again... :) Good luck with the struggle, though... and for the record, I am not a fan of Extinction, in or out of character. IC my characters consider them basically zombie nazis (literally) and OOC my opinion of the group isn't that much different... So while BB will certainly vulture off their antics if they're in the 'hood, he's not into actively helping them out... P.S. I happen to love Escape from New York... I mean, who wouldn't??? ;D --WanYao 00:23, 17 August 2007 (BST)
Nazis? Hey don't blame us brain dead zombies, blame the Army Control Corps!. --Zeug 17:30, 29 August 2007 (BST)

Misc. talk

Hey, is a group taking care of Sheppard NT? I noticed lately it only takes a day for the place to be powered up again, after the generator is smashed. Anyway, if you 're out there, thanks from us folks at Within Drive (in Lamport Hills) Most of us use Sheppard to keep us supplied with syringes. --Shy 15 December 06

What's this about someone establishing a Rotter clinic in a single NT suburb? There are already 2 rotter revive clinics in Malton, and both of them are in NT heavy suburbs, running a Rotter Revive with only a single clinic is pure madness. --Calzion Smith 01:47, 24 July 2006 (BST), MFD, FM for NW-3.

Barricade Plan

The Knights of St. Jude have developed a barricade plan for East Boundwood. Check it out here. Comments are welcome. --Jonny America 02:21, 2 August 2006 (BST)

Let's Eat Brains ... Together!!!

To the Zombies of East Boundwood:

I say we capitalize on our recent successes at and unite for the good (taste) of the suburb before us. The blight of Carner Way and Mahoney Plaza PD's has been cleansed for now. Let us now wash away the non-zombie evil with some fava beans and a nice chianti of ... um ... justice?

Whatever. Let's get a band together, because it'd be the last thing anyone would ever expect. Anyone in? Anyone ever check this page?

Great Suburb Group Massacre 2010

All suburb wiki pages are undergoing a clean up to remove inactive groups from the group listing (see here: this suburb's groups). If you are a group currently listed in this suburb, you will be contacted on your group's talk page within the next few days and asked to reply, indicating that you are active in this suburb. Groups that fail to reply within two weeks of being contacted will automatically be removed from the suburbs where they are listed.

We're posting here in the hopes that more groups will be aware of the clean up and can respond appropriately, since our team does not have the time nor the manpower to seek out every group in-game or track down its group members elsewhere on the wiki. If you know that some groups in your suburb do not check the wiki, please be a good neighbor and let them know that they NEED to check it for this, or else they will be unlisted in the near future.

The wiki members coordinating the cleanup will be using the table below to track their progress in communicating with the various groups. Please do not edit it if you are not involved with The Great Suburb Group Massacre 2010 team.
