You are inside a transit bus moving through a street. The seating is stained and the windows are barred and splashed with blood. Also with you are Volker (60HP), Ross (55HP), Franklin Aichon (50HP), Axel (60HP), Jen (50HP), Izzy (50HP) and Tammy (40HP).
The engine is running and in mostly good condition. The gas tank is mostly full.
Somebody has spraypainted abandon onto a seat.
There is another vehicle here.
There is a mob of zombies here.
There are many dead bodies here.
- You turn your machine gun toward the one who sat up and pull the trigger. You miss completely, with the shots echoing loudly out into the streets. The sitter-upper groans, very loudly, and at once, three more sit up, calling out in turn.
Eight more sit up. They begin to rip at their body bags, forcing their way to freedom and fresh food.
A mob of zombies, their prologue given as bangs, rattling and dead calls inside the building they now pour out of, stagger their stiff bodies toward the very apparent buses. More will follow, from streets, alleyways, all awake, all hungry.
