Maggs Cinema

Our Motto-- "What the fuck is going on with the Tigers?"

Description

You are standing outside Maggs Cinema, a narrow yellow-stone building split by a large, diagonal crack.

At one time, Maggs Cinema was a beautiful and vibrant showcase for classic cinema in Malton. After the outbreak, the premises were redesignated as a sports bar. Maggs Cinema is a simple brick building that is composed of several leather booths. There is a projector that constantly runs highlights of Detroit sports games and University of Michigan football.

Maggs Cinema is named after the hero of the Detroit Tigers baseball team. That hero is Magglio Ordonez. In 2007 Maggs batted with an avg. of .363 with 28 Homeruns and 139 RBIS. He was second in MVP voting behind Alex Rodriguez.

History

Maggs Cinema is a home to the Detroit sportsfans of Malton. It is a clubhouse that is home to several dozen members of Malton who come and go as they please while roaming the city. Anyone is welcome here. We are not exclusive. Come here to talk about Detroit/MI sports. Or, come here to bash them. Any discussion is good discussion in keeping us busy during the outbreak.

Maggs Cinema was claimed in early 2007 by users David Wooderson and Robert Boucher Jr. We simply maintain it so that it may be enjoyed by whomever wishes to have a good time here.
