Transferable?

Has anything been said about allowing a transfer from a none UK resident to someone else that is eligible?(IRMacGuyver 10:02, 13 March 2008 (UTC))

Well, they'll probably only send it to UK citizens but not overseas. See if you can get a friend to help you pick it up and forward it to you - that's what I'm planning on doing. --CWisGood 10:34, 13 March 2008 (UTC)

Zombies

Perhapse it should be noted that zombies can also use the video camera. Not through choice, but apparently because these cameras have a massive battery, and are allways running -- Normal PhobicC 07:12, 16 March 2008 (UTC)

It may also be possible that 'Headshot' zombies still film also

Needs Power?

I just tried to use my Video Camera, and I got this message:

The batteries are dead. Although there's a generator here, you don't have a charger cable.

Which leads me to a few questions... "Has anyone seen a charger cable?" being the first. My character is in a powered up Police Station with a powered up generator. I tried to use the camera in a building without a generator and go this message:

The batteries are dead.

Soon I will head to the Mall and see if I can search out a charger cable. Anyone else know anything about this?-- Blake Jawl ( Talk | GSE) 16:36, 2 April 2008 (BST)

Maybe Kevan disabled all video cameras after the diary competition thing? One of my alts found a new Video Camera from the Tech Store, and its batteries are dead too. --CWisGood 16:40, 2 April 2008 (BST)
Killing the batteries would get rid of the cameras sure, but I wouldn't expect him to include a line about the charging cord if there wasn't one. Of course, looking at my preferences, there is no checkbox for a charging cord among the search options, so it might be something he intends to include in the future, and this is a way to disable the cameras for now. I wouldn't be surprised if he does something similar to this in Malton in the future, only with charging cords needed everyone once in a while.-- Blake Jawl ( Talk | GSE) 20:12, 2 April 2008 (BST)
Video cameras are gone, at least for now - the missing cable was just a thematic explanation for why you can't recharge the batteries from a running generator. --Kevan 10:41, 3 April 2008 (BST)
