"You are at the Lynch Monument, a gold statue of a woman at the top of a low flight of steps."

History

This monument was to a great Second World War colonial, Col. Lynch. His monument was egged by local youth during the Vietnam War protests in the city, but it was promptly cleaned. Older Greentown citizens respect the colonial, as he is almost a legend in some quarters. His monument is however rather small. Many cake stalls and markets have been held to generate more money for the monument, to no avail.
