Currently in Malton there are a large number of cinema theatres, but surprisingly there are no playhouses, that is, theatres with stages instead of screens. These are very common in cities, especially in England, which is the country in which Malton is generally accepted as being located.

So, I suggest that a single theatre (with a stage) should be added to the game. I think it probably ought to be in Old Arkham, because Old Arkham is generally accepted as being one of the oldest parts of the city, but it really doesn't matter.

As for the building itself, I suggest that it be a two-part building, like malls/mansions/cathedrals (but with two parts instead of four), with one half being the auditorium and the other the back-stage area. 

Items and clothing could be as follows (but are really up to the discretion of Kevan, of course): The auditorium might contain newspapers and such things, as well as usher uniforms, and the backstage area might contain a variety of masks and other sorts of costumes, as well as things like lead pipes or whatever.


This is purely a flavour suggestion, but I know that there are many groups of actors in Malton who would be thrilled to see such a building. I also do not doubt that the Old Arkham building committee would be able to find a warehouse or two that could be razed to the construction of this theatre.
